Didn’t end up staying

We liked that it was available on a long trip after dark.

We didn’t end up staying because the room we were assigned smelled so badly of dog that we could hardly breathe. In fact, we didn’t even make it all the way into the room! Were never asked if we had a pet or wanted a room that had housed umpteen canines in the past. I’m all for a hotel allowing pets, but a traveler should be asked if they would like a room that has had no pets in it or not. Very bad experience. Has soured us to Microtels🙁 Even worse, we still needed to find a place to stay after a very long day on the road.

Good enough for the price but no frills.

It was clean enough, especially the bathroom. The hotel offered breakfast which was nice, but we didn't partake. The gentleman signing people in at the counter didn’t seem to want to provide an extra towel to us due to "low inventory" but the lady (maybe the manager) was willing to look and provided what we requested. She was excellent in customer service and a refreshing person to encounter after a long day of travel.

The sheets were stained like washed but stained. The towels were rough and thin. There was also an argument that happened quite loudly with someone on the floor very early in the morning that was intimidating. I also didn't like not having an elevator.

We appreciated the price

We did not eat breakfast but my husband told me it looked good and plentiful. Coffee was good.

My first impression was walking up a back stairway where the carpet was torn and dirty looking. The carpet in our room was wrinkled and torn in places. It did not reassure us about the cleanliness or the safety. A car being repossessed in the rear parking lot and taken away at 2:40 am added to the discomfort. In addition the security monitors were not visible to the person at the desk. Despite the run down nature of the facility due primarily to the carpet, we found the room, bed and bathroom clean. Kudos to the housekeeping team for doing the best with what the’ve got.

Comfortable beds & pillows. Check in staff were friendly.

Early morning staff were grumpy, rooms felt a little dated.

Beds well made and appeared clean. Breakfast had options. Complimentary cookies and coffee, even at 11:30 pm.

Place really needs updating. Ripped carpets, old dingy appearances, dated fixtures and furnishings. Maybe in process of some renovations, lots of "materials" in hallways and entry???

Superb

The staff was lovely - helpful with references for local dining, has fresh coffee available when we arrived, and even took the time to save a little bird that got caught in a towel!

Could have used advance notice that the hotel was by being renovated.

The hotel was under construction. I was terrible disappointed. This is the 1st Microtel I’ve ever seen in this condition

The carpet in our room was filthy AND bedbugs were in one of the beds!!
