Very scenic, clean, and so many things to do smile you are there
Would like a few different options for dining/more pictures of the menu items. Taproom could be improved.

The Skytop Lodge is a beautiful place surrounded in gorgeous settings. Absolutely a phenomenal place to stay, enjoy, eat, golf, plenty to do, cookies at 3pm everyday and 9pm every Saturday night! Simply charming yet elegant! Loved loved loved this lodge and surrounding areas!

Very Nice!! Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the lodge itself and things to do. We ate at the Lakeside, it was Absolutely Amazing. Would stay again, only longer next time.

Our particular room was smaller than expected. We did see other rooms and they were more spacious. However, it was still a great place!
4.5
It was delicious and a nice variety
It’s my sixth time there. It is nice.

Beautiful, like a castle, so much to do with activities at the hotel itself. The staff is very friendly.
The hot water takes long, but honestly there was nothing that we didn’t like.

Gorgeous!

I've stayed at many nice places over the last few years, including Nemacolin and Hotel Hershey and the staff here was by far the friendliest and most helpful. They were under construction, which we knew so that made for a few inconveniences but easily overlookeded given everything else
We didn't have snow until the last day, but that's nothing they could fix!!!

Everyone was very nice!
Very much enjoyed our meals both at the Lakeview and the Windsor.
Great tour of the property and a hike to the Falls.
Thinking about coming back with our children and grandchildren.
Can't think of anything.

there were no disposable slippers and the bed little smelled of bleach

The grounds around the lake are very beautiful. Huge property. Nice easy walking trail around lake
The main building is an interesting old huge stone building. Everything inside is a trip back to the 1950s-1960s. This may have passed muster for families in that era but it is woefully outdated today. It is not charming, just depressing. The rooms are adequate if small but nothing to write home about. The worst thing is the food and the restaurants: 1950s dishes emphasizing meat, meat, meat. When the menu tries to be creative it is just weird: mango sauce on a yoghurt/granola parfait? Really. The main restaurant—the Windsor—is huge and supposed to be elegant. All it succeeds in being is too big for the wait staff so the service is slow. The imported foreign staff is charming and friendly, the local staff with a few exceptions just does their job. The foreign staff doesn’t seem to have any function (they don’t wait on tables but just mingle with guests and tell the wait staff what customers request) except to provide the charm and friendliness the local wait staff can barely muster. The tavern/pub is well, a tavern and pub. Again, meat, meat, meat on the menu. VERY large, unhealthy portions of it too. A game room for kids in an open area down by the gift shop and tavern. Would have certainly made a hit—back in the 1950s anyway. Frankly this is a property woefully in need of updating, especially the restaurants. We actually couldn’t wait to leave to get to more nice, small, B&Bs we’ve been staying in before and after, with very good food. Sorry we stopped here for two nights.

Beautiful grounds. Exceptional hotel. The room was wonderful. Central location facing main entrance. Old charm of colonial luxury. I loved every minute I spent there. Strongly recommend.
Our room didn’t have heat working. I had to ask fo personal heater which was offered. No microwave in the room.
3.5
location and cleanliness
front desk staff and wait staff was not friendly or efficient, they seemed overworked or under supported
3.5
the location and the wide variety of activities are great
Food service and the food in both the Windsor restaurant and the Tap room were extremely disappointing. lakeside restaurant was the best of the choices

It’s an old lodge, so rooms are small although well appointed. Bathroom is barely big enough to get into and very low toilet difficult when you have bad knees.
Did not expect so many young kids running around and shrieking. Was hard to find a place to sit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Some parents did an excellent job of keeping the kids under control, others not do much

This place is amazing- great activities for everyone, kind and helpful staff, beautiful grounds. My son and I went for a 2 night stay and were busy allay doing so many fun things together. I really appreciated the customer service, the helpfulness of the staff, and the lovely atmosphere they have created.
The room is on the smaller side, but we only were in there to sleep. If you want a room where you can sit and lounge for hours you will need to book a larger room than the standard. While somewhat small, it was beautiful and had a great view so we didn't care at all!
4.5
Just about everything! Lovely gardens, rocking chairs on the porch, activities, and the feeling of timeless elegance.
Our “deluxe king” room was too small, I.e. only one chair—a desk chair—for two people. No arm chairs at all.

beautiful with a golf course
very small bathroom
