Beautiful resort with exceptional service throughout the entire property. They always made sure guests were taken care of and we’re extremely attentive to our needs. It was the perfect place to spend my birthday on a solo trip. Everyday felt like a celebration.
The food was great. I mostly ate at Polpo Palm Beach and Breeze Ocean Kitchen. The spa experience was simply amazing. The beach was lovely as well as the adults only tranquility pool. I like that they provided complimentary water shoes, given that there are some large rocks in some parts of the ocean water floor. I will definitely be returning.

The front desk person kept trying to upgrade to a room for 1000.00 then for 800.00. When it was the same room I had already paid for. I didn't appreciate those attics . Will not be returning just because of this

location is fantastic and the rooms are immaculately tidy as are the main reception areas.
staff were on the whole very hospitable and accommodating.
food is great around the pool as is the poolside service which is lovely and makes for a relaxing stay.
complimentary water sports at the beach is a nice touch (kayaks and paddle boards)
Food was overpriced - particularly at breakfast where the hotel try to charge you for every little piece as an extra. this felt a little like a money grabbing exercise by the hotel.
I spent 45 mins on my first morning explaining that breakfast was included in my room rate which shouldn’t mean a $30 allowance per adult for breakfast. breakfast should mean all breakfast.
the hotel relented but it was a battle.
staff in the breakfast all seemed very new at what they were doing so breakfast was a bit of a shambles the first couple of days.
we received stale toast that had mould on it for example. we received an apology from the manager who was very apologetic but it seemed beyond me that you could have a 5 star hotel serving mouldy bread!!!
A waitress (who didn’t serve me) actually chased me down and confronted me in front of my children on my last morning of my holiday to say I hadn’t left a gratuity on the last day. having left a considerable tip every day previously of the holiday (including on days when the service / food was below expectations) I didn’t feel I wished to tip that day but didn’t feel I needed to explain myself in front of my children. Felt a bit like a money grab.
$35 + tax per night for valet parking? and then you’re expected to tip the valet staff???
Ffelt to me a bit like the hotel is money grabbing - charging for every little extra where possible which is disappointing when you are paying $1000+ per night to stay there.

The hotel and staff were great.
I was disappointed about the beach. I know it’s not the hotels fault but I was expecting clearer water and a larger beach area.
