Location was close to where we wanted to be
Breakfast was very skimpy, orange juice machine had been broke for over a,week, no fresh fruit or pastries. Only four pieces of bread were available . hours start at 7ambjt at 715am no visible food just coffee. Sign said no smoking within 25 ft of building, desk clerk and housekeeping person were smoking at bottom of steps to get to our car. Sheets and towels were see through and poor quality
3.2
The location is perfect
Not very clean, sheets and towels are so old you can see through them!

Location.
Poor management. The owner lives onsite but does not want to do the work required to run a business. First off, air conditioning does not work and some of our party had to have their rooms changed multiple times, which is a complete inconvenience. Let alone these room had cost us almost $1000 for 3 nights! Clearly, he took advantage of the islands festivities and raised his rates (I hope that was the case and it’s not the regular rates). My husband had to clean the AC filter himself which was filthy. Other guests stated they did the same. Plus, it smelled of mildew. Secondly, the lack of linens provided was a disgrace. There was a sheet and then something a tad thicker than the sheet. There was two small thin towels ( mind you there was 4 of us). At night, there is nobody at the desk and we had to hunt down the owner in his room. He sends his staff home and then hides. Then, he lied to us saying he wasn’t the owner when he actually is the owner- staff verified this. It was such a hassle for that part of our party left home a day early which was a bummer. Lastly, breakfast was a joke. Also, no elevator or separate entrances other than the small lobby.

Location
The room smelled like they were heavily perfuming to cover up bad smell. Mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Sink and bathtub drain we're almost clogged. Lobby had no air conditioning. And it's 90 plus degrees. Person that checked me in was very goofy and did not seem to know their job at all.
3.2
Super affordable compared to the other hotels. My gf and I were looking for something nice but wouldn’t break the bank. It had everything we needed and was a perfect place to stay. It was our first time at the island and we had a blast.
3.2
Proximity to the National park is great, as well as the dining and activities I enjoy.
Very out dated amenities. Microwave was discolored, from the 80’s. The bathroom, furniture and carpeting very outdated. Chair was stained. Room looked nothing like the photos.
3.2
It was not very crowded. There were plenty of parking spaces.
The room was small. We had to open our suitcases on the floor. The AC unit put out a bit of an odor. Our room keys kept deactivating and we had to keep going to the front desk to get more keys. The people manning the front desk were often away doing other things and not at the front desk. There wasn't much to breakfast.

We were really disappointed wouldn’t recommend it.

The Manager Chrystal and ALL her staff are Super Kind. They ALL do what they can.
Everyone we meet that worked there was VERY friendly and loving. Caring, helpful trying to make it a good stay experience.
But it is NOT their fault people stay away or complain on regular base all the time.
We where NOT the only Ones!
This Staff is maxed out - taken advantage of.
Not enough staff and Cleaning Ladies to handle the rooms.
We saw last minute bookings on Saturday - in the morning the motel was nearly empty then 17rooms booked because of a evening concert in town. Not enough staff to handle the cleaning.
This doesn't help to put then all the load on a very few trying to do everything and not being asked how they can even manage it or not. Or is it even their work description. It looks like abuse and being taken advantage off to us!
The Owner of this Days Inn work on lowest budget to patch up the rooms and the PRECIOUS WILLING STAFF, Manger, Cleaning Ladies, Breakfast Ladies have to listen to all this complaints, defects, etc. CRAZY to me - that's NOT vacation.
WE LOVE THE MANAGER CHRYSTAL. She knows what she is doing. Very talented. So where all the others that we have meet working behind the desk and in the breakfast room! ALL OF THEM. Days Inn Owner better counts their blessing in having them, people still wanting to come work for them. THEY ARE ALL TREASURES and do deserve better! So DOES EVERY GUEST that comes and spends OVER CHARGED ROOM PRICES like my husband Cody and i.
Others paid @40-50$ less sleeping in this Motel!! But we booked on a BOOKING.COM app 3 days before arrival+ it said "last rooms" 4 nights with a high price and we thought it is booked out - that was a lie! That's what the Owner does we guess playing around in the system and manipulating. We told the loving Motel Manager Chrystal but she said she can't do anything about it.
Very SAD!
SO WE HOPE YOU CAN help and do something about it > BOOKING.
The Manager Chrystal and ALL her staff are Super Kind. The rooms are NOT worth the high price we paid! "Lying + cheating" of a booked out last minute room of highest cost, we booked WEDNESDAY 4 Nights - if in reality arriving the motel is nearly empty.
Finding out PRICES are nearly 50$ less x 4 nights than advertised by BOOKING.COM right at the spot at the same day ! >THIS ISN'T RIGHT, This is DECEPTION +it is LYING. Dear BOOKING.COM if you do not want to loose business - PLEASE do something for us here! We trusted you in all this years. Your REPUTATION at stake!
This was a NONACCEPTABLE experience all around :
Most Awfullest room for highest cost 179$ ! !!!ANTS in the bed+all over the furniture (we documented by PICTURES, the Motel Manager has the pictures too)
Airconditioner not working.
The very heavy !!!!granite countertop in the bathroom!!! fell down. THAT'S Life's Dangerous if fallen onto our feet!
Are you serious? A possible life time damage to our feet+toe!!! DOCUMENTED by PICTURES, the Manager has the pictures too!
The rooms smell OLD + MOLDY - because we guess they are (my husband owns a Remodel Business+knows very well+sees things )- just covered up mold +what ever else.
We got another room -not much better, no ants so far.
The "air-conditioners" in the wall are NOT sealed right so all the outside heat and moisture comes in. Hairdryer not working, carpet dirty + this is NOT a Cleaning Lady issue! BREAKFAST advertised not worth the money, out of bananas, apples and more.. THE STAFF DOES WHAT THEY CAN! ALL VERY KIND LOVING HELPFUL. This motel is patched up. A good look from the outside but ones you look "behind, inside" rooms it is a old patched up mess! Absolutely not worth our money. Actually in fact - it is a MONEY BACK issue of all incidences, dangers, creeping animals, etc. experienced. BOOKING.

close to everything
The walls n floors are not soundproof, we heard conversations, next to us, across from us n upstairs from us.

the guy at the front desk was great!
the room was musty smelling, and the blanket was like a sheet we had to turn on the fan because of the musty smell and were cold but didn’t have a blanket to keep warm.
3.2
The hotel is now under new management. The improvements already made were quite noticeable--including a competent and very friendly and accommodating staff, a much cleaner facility, and grounds improvement. It has only been a short while since the change occurred, so the new staff hasn't had a great deal of time to make changes. But, if the improvements continue as seen so far, this hotel will soon be an even better value for the money. We will definitely return.
3.2
The staff is very nice and accommodating. They are under new management so the place should improve and it shows that they’re putting in a lot of effort!
The blankets are a bit thin but that’s about it!
3.2
The property is in a great part of the island, and many of the things my family like to do are nearby! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful!
some of the decor is a bit dated, but it is not a deterrent for us.
3.2
The location was nice and quiet and that is a bonus. The staff was very nice and friendly.
Since it was off season they did not have any breakfast, only coffee. It would have been helpful if that was on the website or at least posted at the front desk.
3.2
good location
kind of out dated and there where bugs in the room
3.2
I think the price is outrageous. $606 for 2 nights. I was charged half the day i arrived then I was charged the whole amount. Im still waiting for the first charge to go back on my card.

the location was good.
appears dated. advertised a breakfast, but the offerings were very sparse and terrible.
3.2
location staff friendly
there 5 days they only cleaned room once and we had to go to front desk to get toilet paper because it was not restock. breakfast had a loaf of bread jelly packets and a banana!! was unbelievable they called it breakfast
3.2
Breakfast consisted of toast and a choice of two cereals, not what I call breakfast.
Hallways creaked when people walked in them and noise transferred to the rooms
3.2
Absolutely Nothing!
The bed had hair in it like it had not been changed from the previous guest. I asked the lady at the front desk that said she was the manager to have the bed changed. She said she changed the sheets and lied to my face saying she had but I had marked the top and bottom sheet with a black marker and the same marks were on the sheets after she said she had changed them. She said she was the only one working at the hotel that day. She had to run the front desk, the pool, the parking lot and do housekeeping. My husband and I asked for a refund because we refused to stay there.
3.2
For the price, it was very clean, great location. Tammy was amazing! Friendly, helpful, super hard worker. What a great group of people working there! The pool was crystal clear, bedding was amazingly clean and fresh.
The property needs to be updated and repaired.
3.2
The door at the end of the hall was regularly blocked from closing so someone could use it as an entrance, rather than an emergency exit. No regard for the safety and security of the guests.
3.2
The location was really nice, staff was friendly.
The room was smaller that I expected, for the price. The breakfast could have been a little better, there was no house keeping, really didn't like that, so I feel I should have received a break in the price.
