This hotel is very clean with all of the amenities to make for a comfortable stay. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that you have an exceptional experience. Housekeeping is always cheerful, and anxious to provide for our needs. Though the times were booked full for Easter weekend, the tea party is the most adorable setup. Personally I am anxious to return with my preschooler just for that. The grounds are nice, and the balconies offer the perfect place to take it all in or just enjoy a quiet read. After a bit of a mixup, I was able to see the professionalism in management that justifies its stars. It’s not about the stay, its about the experience. In short the Ballantyne is not just a hotel, it is a place to retreat, relax, and receive a much needed pampering, whatever your reason may be. I 100% Recommend, and I cannot wait to return.

I loved the warm welcome I received. I celebrated my 30th birthday this weekend, and received chocolate covered strawberries and a handwritten (my favorite) birthday note! I loved the jacuzzi like bathtub. I had an amazing view. All interactions with staff were pleasant. 10/10
I would have loved the option for an earlier check in? Other than that, no complaints!

It was close to things, had a nice park to walk in. The event rooms are nice.
The staff was extremely rude I got charged twice for my stay and they continued to tell me they didn’t. My room wasn’t nice the ceiling paint was chipping really bad the pillows were torn, mini bar wasn’t stocked. And the pictures are deceiving your bathroom is nothing like they show on booking it’s more like a red roof inn bathroom. My lamp in the room also didn’t work. The USB plug ins on the nightstand didn’t work either.

We always love the Ballantyne. It is a sweet little getaway from where we live. The hotel itself is beautiful, the attached restaurant is reliably good, and the pool with full service and bar is not to be missed!
4.5
The setup of the room and bar.
It's a little overpriced to me.

The look of the hotel was nice, I loved the decor downstairs in the common area.
Check in took longer than 30 minutes because our room wasn’t ready even though we arrived at 4:45. Check in is at 4…. The lady at the front desk told us it would be about 5-10 minutes, we waited for 30-40… We missed our reservation for dinner so we had to find somewhere else to go. There was mold in the bathroom tub area all in the grout and on the walls. I didn’t like how online the pictures didn’t go with what we booked. Online the pictures for the room we booked was a lot nicer. The Grande Deluxe King room online showed a huge soaker tub and a walk in shower… we didn’t have that. We had a tub/shower combo… very disappointed. The robes were hard as sandpaper. It was our anniversary so we booked a “luxury” hotel but it definitely was not a luxury experience. It was a waste of money because in my opinion it’s overpriced. We couldn’t enjoy the balcony because there were spiders and trash all over it.

Clean and liked the location.
My room did smell a like little mildew. We had stayed her previous for a NBA game so decided to come back when we was in for a sports tournament. Obviously if you pay to check in a 4 you WANT to be checked in by 4 since of course if you check out late you’re charged. Then I had a charge from the pool/bar that we never ATTENDED. But they took care of that charge. We usually Love this place but it just wasn’t as awesome this go around.

great property, always clean, fab pool and bar.
sometimes a little busy with conferences

The on site restaurant was lacking for the price of our meal.
4.5
beautiful property and grounds, although currently the entire backside is under construction.
we’ve stayed before with no issues, but this time the room was super noisy. I had to get earplugs. And the bed was so uncomfortable, and the pillows were so soft (even after housekeeping brought me several replacements) that I woke up in writhing pain and had to finish my night’s sleep IN THE CHAIR.
I called the receptionist and was given an option to change rooms, but didn’t see the point since we were only staying one more night and the beds/noise would likely be similar. I also didn’t want the hassle of packing and moving for the second night of a two night stay.
I was given a $50 credit. Our total bill, including dining was 1700.
We will not be returning anytime soon. A new Aloft is being build behind the property. We will most likely stay there and enjoy the spa and pool at Ballantyne if we do decide to return to that area in the future.
NOT the level of R&R I was expecting for this price tag!

Beautiful rooms with beautiful furnishings. Hotel lobby and pool area were nice also.
The check-in staff / concierge were unfriendly and condescending.

The staff was exceptional.

The breakfast was good
The hotel was busy only one elevator r is working. For hotel like this should have been taking care of right away very disappointment.

Nice hotel, staff were nice and rooms were clean.
They are doing major major construction literally right behind the hotel, and it's really loud and going on all the time. The hotel grounds are great, but all the construction going on was a bummer, and I feel like they should mention that on their website when you're booking. Also, the indoor pool was really cold.
4.5
Beautiful hotel. Amazing food
Indoor pools not clean and very small. Rolls of bathroom tissue not full. Almost empty box of tissues.

the staff was wonderful and very anxious to help. The property itself is amazing!

Good vibe. Felt luxurious. Grateful for standard noon checkout. Polite valet. Free parking.
Tub and shower were a little small (I am >6’). Couldn’t open balcony door (may be due to building code). No standard fridge ( for leftovers). A little dates (high expectations)
4.5
The room was very clean and staff was helpful and friendly.
I wish there was a refrigerator available or larger ice bucket to keep items cool!

We chose to stay at the hotel because of our past experiences. Unfortunately this recent experience was horrible. The safe did not work. We could not use the refrigerator in the room because the hotel uses it to sell their wares, no coffee is provided in the room, but requires everyone to go all the way down to the lobby and only after 7 am for a cup of coffee And to add extra pain to the injury, the in door jacuzzi was broken and facilities did not appear to be clean and was dank inside. Unfortunately, we could have had a better experience at a 3 star hotel.

I loved the room the tub the views
well the mini bar in the room was extremely high if you pick it up it automatically charges your card to be careful with that needs more parking staff
4.5
The spa was phenomenal. Everyone was was so nice and the parking lot was big. No fighting over spots.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was amazing!!
The price of dinner was a little expensive and the pillows left much to be desired. They looked nice but went flat as soon as you laid your head on them.

the location was great , close to the restaurant we had reservations
the rate wasn’t worth the room, it was pricey and not worth it. The male staff wasn’t friendly at all, the others were. Our room smelled of gas when the heat was turned on, engineer was sent then tried to tell us the heat was working which wasn’t the point. the rooms weren’t that fancy for what I paid I wasn’t impressed.
