Great location. Secluded. Not crowded. Marriott beds.
1. Wifi was not sufficient for netflix.
2. Not as clean as other Marriotts. Windows dirty on balcony and restaurant looking from the patio to the beach. Couch pillow stained. Peanut shells left on balcony. A little more effort put into cleaning would be great.
3. Charging from bedside lamp fried my phone battery port.

Staff was super friendly!
Not that I didn't like it, but the normal wear and tear from sea salt mist has definitely played its part in the deterioration in some of the exterior fixtures, fences, glass, etc.
The main elevator seemed to be having some issues. Luckily the staff realized we were kind of stuck in the elevator and offered us the use of their staff elevator. Again.... Mechanical stuff happens, not the staffs fault.

Great location and beach view. Spacious.
Bed was so hard I had to sleep on couch, which was just a little bit better. Shower door would not latch. Sink needs nice vanity. Large bathroom with no place for toiletries. Light floods room all night through Lhasa unneeded windows. Need grab bar near toilet. Plenty of room for privacy wall, too.

perfect view/balcony. Everyone was friendly. So much to see/eat in walking distance
had to search for bottled water/ice. Had to call/go to front desk for service multiple times.

We love the sound of the waves, HATE that they put us next to the basketball court for our 40th anniversary! We are yearly guests and can usually get closer to the pier. NO ONE was willing to make us comfortable. The ocean of course was closed again/still but we do not swim anyway. The spa was dirty every time we went down there and children were in it without parents. There was rarely an attendant at the towels, and the gate to the beach was one way only. I could not get back in to use the bathroom. Very disappointed with the sale of this hotel. We will not be returning. I am very sad. We heard a lot of other customers in very bad moods. One lady had to ask to get into her room 4times in a row because her key would not work!

The food at sea180 was great. The fact that they had a lot of gluten free options was such a nice commodity.
Would have preferred not to be woken up by construction at 8:45 in the morning. The floor was absolutely disgusting in our room; our babies Clothes and our socks were black after walking around for 15 min.

I would love to recommend this hotel to everyone traveling to San Diego.
You will be more than pleased, I promise you.
I traveled across the world, but this ll be on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever.
The staff at this property are all fantastic! They was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel.
I can not forget to mention,
how amazing it is,
to wake up and see the ocean from your balcony.

We loved the location and the surrounding shops, restaurants and breweries. The hotel was lovely and staff was very friendly and helpful. Seacoast 180 restaurant was a very convenient place to eat with delicious food, courteous staff and a beautiful view of the ocean.
I expected the room to be cleaner and well maintained as in the pictures on the website. The windows in the room and balcony were dirty, the balcony door knob was faulty, the window cranks in the room were broken and windows were not able to open. The coffee table and end table tops were dirty as well. The door of our Hotel room was also faulty, it wouldn't close without slamming it shut.

that it was on the beach
for the amount of money this place charges, it’s like I went to
to Mexico. our room had an ugly view of abounded bars &
our furniture in the room was falling apart. the local eatery
was terrible. for our first time to imperial we won’t be coming
back.
