This summer I really want to return with a different friend but there wasn't any openings until mid-
I didn't even know there was a breakfast offered in the four days there. I liked where we were located...closest to the lake (Aspen) and grass. The staff couldn't have been better. The furniture, full kitchen, the fireplace, the rustic but clean ambience. Getting out of the heat of "The Valley."
I didn't know about the amenities that are mentioned above like the breakfasts or massages.

Great value to get away from it all.
Just such a nice relaxing time. Cute clean and comfortable. We had been there before. Very cute rustic cabin, new appliances. Restaurants near or bring your own and cook.
It was a little hot, may go in May next time. There are fans but no air.

Beautiful location, friendly staff and owner, but cabin 10 needs some work.
The proximity to the lake and town was really nice. The staff was great....and it was very quiet and beautiful. The wildlife we saw was really neat. Also the fireplace inside of the cabin as well as the fire pits outside were great to have. The flooring in the living room and kitchen were very nice. Loved having a full kitchen!
I'm not fussy with hotels or short term stays, I've stayed in some pretty interesting ones throughout my life and don't mind if they are bare bones... However... the furniture was all uncomfortable....the mattress, recliners they had in the livingroom (no sofa)... they were all very dated and very uncomfortable. We broke out the camping chairs to have a comfortable place to sit at one point. The bathroom was pretty interesting, we told the owners (who JUST that day took over the place) when we were leaving and they said there are other cabins there with better bathrooms and that they would look into all of the things we told them about (as they asked). The toilet in Cabin 10 (the Willows) is about 12 inches from the floor... I felt like a frog when I was on it. Also the shower is about the size of a phone booth and was in need of significant re-caulking and new tiles as there were some falling off. The floor in the bedroom moves A LOT when you're walking. I would not recommend this cabin to anyone with mobility restrictions or bad knees (because of the toilet's proximity to the ground). The docks are also in pretty bad shape and need of repair but we fished off the side of the banks. I will definitely stay at the location again mainly because of the location and price, but I'll try a different cabin.

Exceeded expectations in all regards, will be returning!
We went here for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! We loved the location of the resort on the lake, it was beautiful. It’s close to stores when needed but far enough away to be very peaceful and quiet. Direct access to the lake was nice to have too. It’s close to a lot of scenic views, hiking spots, and places for nature walks. Pretty wildlife. Loved the fireplace!!
It was a little weird that the bathroom wasn’t connected to the bedroom. It was surprising but not bad. The closet had the water heater in it and I think that made it smell like natural gas or something. But the smell stayed in the closet so we only smelled it when opened.
