Beautiful! Loved the walking trails.
Wished rooms had a microwave.

What a beautiful stay

The lodge-like atmosphere. Rustic, comfortable. Very clean. Had a restaurant and bar on-site. Plenty of walking trails. Arbor Day Farms nearby. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Loved the swimming pool which was also very well maintained. Offered brewed coffee at the entrance in the morning.
The room was smaller than most other hotel rooms but otherwise, very nice hotel.

The weather

The room was on the chilly side

ease of access, seclusion
The menu prices were absurd, if you call the hotel, you get routed through 19 different ways to not get a hold of someone. Especially when you’re standing at the front door and the front lobby guy is sitting there, not answering the ringing phone in his ear and the restaurant doesn’t answer the phone for 20 minutes before they actually close.

Good walking areas. Prompt service when needed. Pleasant people
Rooms were small if you wanted to set and read

Clean and beautiful surroundings. Love the gravure of the rooms.
The bed was like sleeping on springs with a sheet over them. Never been so sore after sleeping in a bed. The timbers was over priced for what seemed like frozen and heated food.

Beautiful facility. What an awesome surprise. Bring a bicycle for the trails.
Tiny toilets.

The only thing that disappointed us was that the hot tub jacuzzi was closed for repairs the weekend we were there. The swimming pool was very spacious and still a lot of fun, though.

Loved the pool and the lodge was well-kept
We stayed with 2 other families, and called ahead of time to request that our rooms be assigned next to other. We were told this was possible (which I confirmed with a room number when I checked in). But when the 3rd family checked in a couple hours after we did, they were told this wasn’t possible and we’re placed far away down the hall. This was very disappointing.

The breakfast was very good and our waitress was exceptional.
Unfortunately we were in a room where the people staying next to us were very loud, and with children who were very loud until midnight. They also had their TV on throughout the entire night on a high volume. I noticed the front desk at 3:30 AM. Very disappointing.

Breakfast at the attached restaurant was fantastic but is extra - not a typical continental breakfast. Beautiful facilities, huge pool.
Room size was small for the $

The meals at Timbers were excellent even for the price.
The heat was turned on and didn't allow for changes to the temperature. It seemed the air conditioner came on in the morning when it was cool. Also wanted to buy wine in the restaurant as the Apple Market was out of Chambourcin. We bought one bottle in the gift shop at the price of $22. However, to buy the same kind in the restaurant, across the hall, it was $31 a bottle. We wanted it for a gift so bought it but thought that was unfair and a ridiculous reason was given.

quiet surrundings, clean, friendly staff

enjoyed all extra activities & access to them
No meals geared towards vegetarian or vegan, noting religious restrictions on eating animal products, cholesterol concerns.
