Beautiful scenery and location with exceptional staff.

gorgeous location, everything clean, staff exceptional, very quiet, rooms a little dated but, comfortable.

I liked everything but, rooms could be updated because sometimes old takes away some comfort.

Great stay in the Smokies

We loved the location away from the hubbub of Pigeon Forge. The staff was wonderful including the maid service. The facilities were very clean.

The breakfast was okay but limited. I would have liked some fruit included in the breakfast selections.

We will definitely be back!

The setting near the Great Smoky Mountain National Park is beautiful. We really enjoyed relaxing by and swimming in the pool. The grounds are peaceful and beautifully landscaped. The room was comfortable.

While the breakfast room is lovely and overlooks the mountains, the continental breakfast was pretty minimal. It would have been nice to have yogurt or fruit (apples or bananas) as an option along with the cereal.

Our stay was nice, as always. We always stay here when we visit Townsend.

I like the location, the price. The room was just what we needed. The place has charm.

The hard boiled eggs at the continental breakfast on Sunday morning were not cooked enough. I would like more comfortable chairs outside the king size rooms. Like the ones we saw outside the other rooms.

It was great.

The stay was very pleasant. Staff helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the continental breakfast on the day we left it was tasty and very convenient. Both my wife and I were pleased and would recommend to others.

the venue in Townsend was great. breakfast was basic but good to have it included.

Good value for a stay on the quiet side of the Smokies!

Townsend is my preferred place to stay when visiting the Smokies. The Highland Manor Inn sits up off the main road through town. It’s quiet, while at the same time within close proximity to places to visit, shop, and eat. The motel is not new, but my room was very clean. I loved that I could park right in front of my room. I even had a nice view through my window.

My only very minor complaint is that I would have liked the ice machine closer to the building, but that was really no big deal.

Older couples retreat

Quiet, peaceful setting of Townsend. Free wifi and no smoking a plus!

No coffeemaker in room. My friend went through withdrawal. Breakfast was described as a buffet, but was not. Cold cereal and pastries. For the price we paid for the nightly rate, I had expected more since this was included as part of the package.

If you’re looking for peace and quiet this is your place.

We chose this area so that we were not in the middle of all of the commercial things that go on in Pigeon Forge. it was beautifully quiet and well-maintained.

We would’ve loved a king bed but that’s our fault for last-minute booking not the property’s.

Breakfast was almost devoid of protein -- only protein available was a second-rate yogurt. The hotel had lovely balconies for many of the rooms, but they needed to have at least one very small table to go with the two c chairs -- at least tp have something to put your drinks on.
