The cost was relatively decent in comparison to the hotels in the surrounding area.
I was waiting for this. This hotel has SO MUCH POTENTIAL!. It has a bavarian vibe when you drive up. However, the over growth needs to be taken care of. The rooms have the potential to be so much cuter. The floor tiles came up when you stepped on them. The insulation and airflow are non existent in the rooms, which is why they provide a dehumidifier which you absolutely need to use otherwise it feels quite moist in the rooms. The mattress is essentially a covered 4x8 sheet of plywood. Quite possibly the hardest mattress I have ever slept on. The drywall is coming off the wall in the shower which is a little concerning.

Comfortable bed and furniture, quiet, parking right in front, convenient

I liked the location, and the decor of the room (four poster bed!). The area was nice and quiet, but also local to some nice cafes and an impressive bookstore.
The decor is a plus and also a big of a negative in that it is dated, and feels a bit dated. The bed was lovely, but noisy and quite hard. The parking along the main building was a bit tricky to pull into, with picnic tables nearby. But for one night, it was fine!

We LOVED the little pond and the ducks and geese that greeted us in the morning. We also loved the pool - it was very clean and hidden away so that it felt very private. The property was quiet and located in an area that made everything the perfect distance in Sandwich.
The room was a little outdated, and the bed could have used a mattress upgrade, but it was good if you just need a place to crash.

Although no breakfast was included there was a lovely little cafe right down the street. Loved the ducks and geese in the pond, and the middle section of grassy area with chairs. The overall ambiance of The Earl of Sandwich was cozy and charming.
nothing I can think of

location was good, pond in the back was nice since we had our four year old with us. very basic with but sufficient for a one night stay. but wouldn’t be my first option to stay again.
a little dated, beds were a bit uncomfortable.

Location, furniture, microwave, hardwood floors, good water pressure, good price, old fashioned key.
Broken storm door handle, could not open windows, strong perfume smell.

The room was clean, bed was OK
Room felt dark as there seemed to be dull lighting throughout, decor seemed to be right out of the 1960's

Motel with nice buildings and natural surrounding. Unexpectedly pleasant place. The situation is convenient on Capecode.

Quaint and and quiet
The bed was firm but could be a good thing for some people, just not me.

Beautiful surroundings and grounds and a nice clean room

The setting was very nice. Greenery, flowers and ducks.
The front door lock didn’t align to lock; the sliding door handle was ready to fall off. The room and bathroom room must be totally renovated. Room smelled musty; had to spray Lysol. Reservation clerk had problems with the English language and unfriendly.

The location was perfect for me… the room was perfect , the grounds were in great shape and loved being in the room closest to the ducks 😊
I couldn’t get the WiFi to work but for me that was no big deal

The grounds were very quaint. Well kept, nice variety of seating areas, nice decks off the back of the unit. The ducks were very fun, I counted at least 30 of them. There's a small duck pond and they appear to be well cared for. It was nice sipping coffee on the back deck and watching them. The common lawn area was very peaceful. The pool was so nice! We had the luck of being the only people using it both times we were in the pool, so it felt like our own little escape area.
The room was well appointed, beds were super comfortable, shower was nice and hot with good pressure.
I don't have anything at this time that would have improved our stay.

The Earl of Sandwich motel and its grounds are located in a peacefull and quiet park with old and tall shade trees. Some rooms have private patio with direct access to the nice green space with picnic tables and chairs around the firepit, which is righ next to the pond with ducks and a couple of geese. Property also has a well maintained 6ft deep outdoor pool in a hidden area of the property. Wood trimmed rooms have antique looking furniture, comfortable chairs and bads, TV, microwave, refrigirator, coffee maker, and working and quiet AC. There are also garden swings arround this professionally maintainrd property. It is not a traditiinal motel. The entire propery makes you feel like it is some place in Heaven.
The rooms did not have toaster.

Nice property, clean and cozy
IUnder new ownership. Noisy full full time residents living there.
Loud people coming and going at all hours. Loud trucks idling for hours. Complete disregard for guests. No room service. Empty your own trash.

Didn't go
Manager did not remove feather pillows as I requested both in writing and by phone. I have a severe allergy to feathers. When I got there he continued to be unwelcoming and rude. Finally removed them, and I bought my own pillow.

The shower had good pressure and was hot.
The room was right next to the office and we could hear everything. The entrance was in the back and had a screen door on it which didn't latch correctly. It was near the road so we could hear traffic at times. The towels were old and thin.
