My stay was affordable and quiet. Room was large, immaculate, and outfitted with brand new furnishings. It had a terrific mattress, a Roku TV setup, and lots of personal touches for a homey environment. There’s plenty of parking. Niantic is a great jumping off point for surrounding areas. Ask the office about beach access and passes, which was my focus. They can provide you with walk-in passes (no parking) for the beach and boardwalk, which are across the street. Passes may be complimentary or come w a daily fee, depending on how you book your room. It makes for an easy stay, and you won’t find that kind of welcome in Greenwich. The town does check for passes.
It would have been great would to have had a small occasional/end table in the room for use with the easy chair and lounger. it was dicey resting a beverage on a dining chair. This would make the efficiency much more livable.

Das Hotel ist aus Holz gebaut und leider sehr hellhörig

Everything was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly .
It was a great Inn for the price!! Looked newly remodeled. I can say I really enjoyed the kitchenette and the use of a BBQ! I would definitely stay again!
The lights were a little dim, the beds were really firm(but thats more of a person to person preference) and the stove only half worked but the from burner worked ok. It was just the back one that was a little funky but it was still awesome to have!

We come to Niantic annually from New York. The Niantic Inn is a favorite for us, as it is conveniently located and reasonably priced. This stay was even better than the last - our room was updated and the staff was absolutely wonderful. Carlos and Stacy went above and beyond (it was also my birthday); their warm welcome and thoughtfulness will not be forgotten. Thank you again!
Very often smokers lingering near the entry door. I would prefer not to be exposed to the smell.

Very good communication as we were arriving late and then later. Friendly responses were reassuring everything would be well and it was !
We found the place very warm on arrival. Obviously this is personal taste and it was solved by turning off the AC and opening the window.

Location was close to food and boardwalk.
So disappointing!!!! Overpriced and just not a good experience at ALL! No one to check you in. After finding someone she was on the phone with her friend checking me in. But that isn’t even why I am bummed. This place is TIRED (old and masked with new paint) AND LOUD - so loud. The beds are OLD AND UNCOMFORTABLE. The doors are not sealed and we could hear everything, everything- including someone’s alarm going off for 5 minutes every 15 minutes starting at 4:30 am, and went on for over an hour. We could hear the people above us walking around. I don’t know how this place gets $220+ a night. It is just above a dump!!! Two of the nearby, neighboring rooms had 5-7 people in each room. So loud and no one available to talk to. For the price I can see that it attracted large groups and management wasn’t around to notice.

Location, location, location! Clean, friendly staff, quiet.
The bed! It was very uncomfortable, and the sheets were thin and 100% (cheap)polyester.

The room was huge and the kitchen was well-equipped. When we eventually managed to find them, the staff were helpful and friendly
When we arrived we followed the sign to the entrance and found a building with a large sign saying it was the inn and a welcome sign. We spent at least 10 minutes walking along every floor in the building and all around the outside trying to find reception, but there was no sign of anyone and no information about where you were supposed to go when you arrived. It was very frustrating. Eventually another guest told us that there was a completely separate building where reception was located

This facility deserves a 10,000 star review. The rooms are spacious, beautiful and clean with very comfortable beds. I can't say enough good things about the innkeeper Marianne. When I contacted her on the day of arrival and let her know that due to unforeseen circumstances, I may not be able to make the 9 PM check in, she graciously made arrangements for me as well as gave me her personal cell number if I had any problems getting in. When we entered the room, heat and lights were on for us, a cute gift bag with water and snacks were there as well as a heartfelt note. There are not many facilities that give this kind of service. The inn is close to everything you may need, 4 minute walk to Hole in the Wall Beach and Niantic Boardwalk. 5 minute drive to closest convenience store as I had to make a quick run for an emergency item. This was a winter stay, I can only imagine how amazing this town is in the summer. Please stay here, you will not regret it!
I can't think of one thing that I didn't like.

The pictures on the website are NOTHING like the actual room. The pictures were bright, clean, updated. The room was dark, dingy, and overlooked a bank drive through and a dumpster. I walked in the room and turned around and walked right back out and went straight to the office and showed them the pictures on the website and told them it was nothing like the pictures and I would not be staying and was looking for a refund. They still charged me almost $60, which was more than half of the cost of the room. Will NEVER visit again nor will I recommend.
