They were patient kind and clean. I'll stay if I'm stuck in Sullivan Missouri again. The people were so sweet and adorable.

The location was convenient.
Our room smelt like mildew and musky. The phone didn’t work, the AC knobs were broken, and the room door was hard to open. It definitely was cheap money wise but definitely disappointed in just the basic stuff that I figured would be decent.

The price was the least expensive of the many motels/hotels in the area. I was also able to book less than a week before my stay. The room had a mini fridge and microwave, so I was able to bring some of my own food.
Before I even left home, I called to see what amenities the rooms had. The person who answered seemed very confused as to why I was asking and what I meant. Upon checking in, I sbowed the woman at the front desk my booking reservation made onlie through an app, and she didn't seem to understand what it was. The room itself was disgusting. Stains everywhere, including the floor furniture and walls. Crumbling drywall and chipped paint all over the place.

Very reasonable price.
Very close to the freeway, so you hear the freeway all the time. A lot of trucks are on this freeway.

The bed was comfortable. The sink was clean.
The room was probably 90 degrees when we arrived. The ceiling was cracking and there was patched places in the ceiling and walls. The carpet was not clean. The shower was stained and the shower nozzle was not fastened to the wall. There was a soda tab between the bed and night stand.

Great location right off the highway.
Booked a non smoking room and once we opened the door we realized we were given keys to a smoking room. The smoke smell was terrible so we went back to the office and said we booked a non smoking room and the lady working the counter said there will be a 20 dollar deposit to be returned when you return the key. Which made no sense cause you didn’t do that on the first room. The non smoking room was good other than a soft spot on the floor by the bed and the light on the ceiling flickering when on. While walking to the room you could clearly see the boards needed replaced in spots on the decking and some screws were sticking up also needed paint. We also could hardly understand the First Lady we talked to working the counter and in the morning when we dropped the key off the lady working the counter didn’t know nothing about the 20 dollar deposit and she did not speak any English at all. She got the other lady and we got it straightened out.

The owners.
Booking over charged me.

The motel had easy access to the interstate. Also close by were gas stations a grocery store and Dollar General. The rooms had been updated but need just a little more TLC. Owners were nice and no major problems with the stay.
Room could have been a little cleaner. Walkway to the room was a wooden decking and a couple of the boards need replaced. You have to go to the office to get ice and parking is limited, this may have been because there was a fireworks stand on the grass just in front of the parking lot, to be fair. Owners were polite but I wouldn't say hospitable. This is only a 20 room motel with old fashioned keys so don't expect too much.
