The location was a good in between stop for our family road trip and seemed to be a cute town. The hotel was an old apartment complex turned into hotel and was something different that I thought my family would enjoy. Sadly the extremely unprofessional and shady business practices as well as the rude owner Cindy soured our stay and my recommendation for anyone to ever do business with them.
By far the most unprofessional small business owner I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They charged my card immediately upon making the reservation a full two weeks prior to our arrival, unlike most reputable hotels that put a hold on a card and charge after your stay. During that same time frame our card was hacked and thousands of dollars in fraudulent charges were made, This hotel uses some no name LLC and the charges do not show the hotel name and my credit company stopped all payments and closed the card. We did not realize this was an issue until days after our stay upon which my employer received a call from Cindy demanding payment and threatening to call the police and take me to court. I called her directly as this was the first time I had heard of the issue and explained the entire situation with our card and offered to submit payment immediately of which she refused and now continues to harass, intimidate, and threaten us as well as adding additional fees to the agreed upon reservation costs due to her poor business methods. She admitted to Facebook stalking me and calling my employer for this matter instead of handling the matter through the booking agency I used that had all of my information including my email and phone number. Consumer be warned, this place is not worth your business.

Could tell a lot of thought went into updating and making the place comfortable. It was very clean and place had lots of character. There were snacks and homemade bread and treats in freezer, little notes around to help us and menus in the outer area for good restaurants. Checking in and out was very simple. The location was awesome and parking on Main street worked perfect.
Floors are very loud and slanted but expected in an old building. The bedroom smelled of cigarettes. It may have been coming through vents.

Comfy and enough room for sure.
Would be nice to have some sharp knives in the kitchen. Couldn't find any for cutting cheese.

Location was excellent. Greeted by owner. Very pleasant!
Would have been nice to have paper towels and extra toilet paper

This Historic building has charm. We liked being on the main strip of town. The apartment was very comfortable and reasonably priced for three people. This was our halfway point on the way to Jackson. We, especially, enjoyed the cookies & goodies Cynthia left us for our trip!
The apartment could use some updates. A real door to the washroom would be good. The washroom was spotless & Clean! We had enough towels for our stay.

The location was ideal. Walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants.
We really enjoyed our stay. The one thing that I think could be improved upon is the bathroom door. It made a lot of noise, a little WD 40 on the hinges would do the trick.

The size and sleeping arrangements were good.
Difficult to find. Only 1 bathroom per apartment.
