Nice overall, my second time staying here.

The history of it. The amazing breakfast. The kind workers.

Pullout bed had a horrible mattress. Room needed better decor and better paint job. Entire second floor should have same paint color as first level. Gray doesn’t match time period of hotel.

Zum durchatmen und entschleunigen

Historisch mit altem Charme und doch modern (schlüssellos) Heißgetränke jederzeit vorhanden (super leckerer Kakao für die Kids) und auch Eis für die Kühltruhe kostenlos! Zum aussergewöhnlichen Frühstück und dem 1a Personal brauche ich nichts mehr zu schreiben!

Die Klimaanlage in den Zimmern ist ein Muss, da die Fenster nicht geöffnet werden können…

Friendly staff, historic vibe, and free breakfast.

Mattress is lumpy, clean but outdated. Room had fruit Flys in the bathroom. Musty odor within the room, paper thin walls.

Historic hotel, excellent to get away from corporate brands

1st class breakfast. Excellent staff. Toilet handle broke and was fixed quickly and with no fuss. Room was spacious, bed comfortable. Free parking. Not run of the mill, but characterful. Loved our verandah room with rocking chairs on the porch.

4 way noisy junction outside, but that can't be helped. Bed slid on wooden floor if you lent too heavily on fixed wooden headboard behind. We are being picky here. Because. We loved this hotel and would stay again in a heartbeat.

classic vintage hotel, kept in great shape, history oozes from its walls, including that Babe Ruth had an apartment here. The breakfast was wonderful.

Gracious, old Florida feel in a historic hotel.

Hot breakfast was very good. Lots of selection of food and breakfast beverages. Room was very clean, great light and access to the veranda and rocking chairs.

I like a firmer bed.

My Home Away from Home...

Jackie and Kathy (sp?) are great! They seem more like friends than staff. I stayed here a few years ago and love it just the same today. I can't even name all of the things I like about this beautiful Inn. There are truly so many amenities I love. By far, it is the best place for a retreat.

Limpeza do hotel foi o ponto forte.

Localização, estado geral do quarto e do hotel. Por ser um hotel histórico, entendemos que seria antigo, porém bem conservado. O chão do quarto era muito desnivelado, o que deixou um vão enorme em baixo da porta. Permitindo ouvir barulhos, luzes e conversas no corredor. Muito desconfortável.

In town for a couple museum visits and relaxing. Come for the joy not the breakfast.

Superb

The place is charming. I did not realize I was booking a certified historical landmark. Comfortable and clean. A very short 1 or 2 mile drive over the draw bridge to the beach main drag. Will definitely stay there again when visting the Tampa area.

Not bad for the money, but not great for space.

Close to where we wanted to be. Good breakfast. Enjoyed reading about the history of the site.

Tiny room. Just enough for bathroom and a bed. Seemed musty, but it’s an old place.

Amazing staff, good breakfast but building needs some work. Mildew odor not accptable for the price.

The staff was very nice & extremely accomadating. The breakfast was very good.

2nd & 3rd floors smell extremely musty & mildewy. I know it's an old hotel & is hit w multiple storms a year but it was really bad. Our (second) room never aired out & we were aware of it every time we entered the room. The hall floor is physically warped like a fun house.

We always enjoy our stay at Crystal Bay and they love our dogs!

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are cozy and beds are comfy. The location is great as it’s not far from Gulfport and St Petersburg downtown.
