Just awful. The property is terribly misrepresented on Booking.com. It is unsanitary and in desperate need of updating. The pool area was horrendous. I arrived alone after traveling for 9 hours with my children and I did not feel safe staying there.
Even the receptionist warned me upon arrival that I may be a bit disappointed and said that "it is not what people expect"
I cancelled my reservation shortly after I arrived and had a look around due to these issues, yet they went ahead and charged me over $1400 on my credit card anyway. I emailed my concerns with no response from anyone there. I informed Booking.com that they should not permit this property to even be an option on their site.
Terrible experience, terrible customer service, terrible all around.

Beautiful sunset
The stairs were a little much. It made it hard for my family.

Nothing.
Pictures on the site certainly make the place look good, probably from many years ago.
The entire facility is rather dated and run down. Need to take better care of the property for the extremely high prices being charged.
We were not told the code to the pool or the game room nor the password to the WiFi. Wasn’t even provided in the check-in packet.
Pool: really hot, dirty, concrete was crumbling and had a cone in one area from a hole. The bathrooms were completely terrible and there was no water to use the sink or flush the toilets in either bathrooms.
Arcade: there is an arcade onsite and it consists of a foosball table, ping pong table, a billiards table , and one old arcade game. Other than foosball and ping pong table, everything else cost money to play. Really old vending machines from the late 80s, which only takes cash. There was no coin change machine to be able to play anything unless you happen to be carrying a pocket full of quarters.
Gym: only had 4 machines. Most were broken and not even usable. There is a sauna? Or shower in there but was very small, broken and didn’t even look usable. No instructions on how to use it if it did work.
Beach: resort has private beach access. Have to climb up a flight of stairs to get over the dune and then down a matted ramp that is rather steep and hard for some users. The beach itself is really great. There is a shower area to spray off the sand when coming back from the beach but the area doesn’t get taken care of and is so covered in sand that even if you got it off of you, you would get covers again trying to get out of the area to return back to the units.
Unit: unit had a lot of flys in it. Apparently this is a constant problem since there were 5 fly swatters in the fridge to use, which was useful, but shouldn’t be necessary.

LOVED the location, loved Duck (our first time there), loved that we could spend time on both the beach and the sound, and loved all the extra amenities such as pool/playground/etc.
It would be nice if we could rent watersports equipment or beach chairs from the resort. However, it was off season, so I don't know if that would have been possible later in the year. There was also a boat rental very close by on the sound side.

Spending time with our grandsons. Great food and fun w them!
We had a great time in Corolla and Kitty Hawk.
Requested Beach view and didn't get it.
The stairs in the townhouse were too much. We survived!
The dining room table is very shaky beware
Sheets for twin beds do not fit.
Washer and dryer are outside in carport.

beautiful and comfortable housing. great view.

The location was excellent, very close to the beach. Nice and spacious apartment, excellent kitchen and facilities.
We were promised and apartment with an ocean front view but got instead an apartment without it, because the A-building with the ocean view apts were blocking our view. We were told they were being renovated, but in fact we saw tourists staying in them. But, the C-building where we stayed was very close to the beach - so it wasn't the end of the world. Would have enjoyed looking at the ocean from the windows and the balchony as we were promised when we booked the stay.

It is right on the beach. Location to all the sight seeing and restaurants was excellent. The jacuzzi bath tub was working good. Which was much needed after climbing so many steps. Misty the office representative was very friendly and helpful.
The shower curtain hanger was rusted so you could not hang towels on it. There was no utensils for cooking. The coffee pot could be upgraded it made a mess a few times when we tried to use it.

property was good. I only came for the beach.
Not handicap friendly. Steps on every floor was not stated in the Ad.

Sunsets were beautiful from our building on the sound. Sheets and towels were clean. The walk to the beach wasn’t too far. Shuffleboard, tennis, and game room were a hit with kids.
The entire place smelled of mold and mildew. Had to buy allergy meds. We tried using the AC system to air it out and the smell only got worse. Had to shut it off and use windows. The carpet on all 3 floors should be removed/replaced.

The condo was close to the beach and was easily accessible. It was roomy and comfortable.
The wifi did not work for the week that we were there. The condo was advertised as beachfront - but t0he ocean was barely visible between other buildings.
4.5
Older buildings, but clean and functional. Comfortable beds, they provided additional pillows upon request.
Loved the trees!!
Definitely appreciate the 'starter' pack of detergents, TP & paper towels, trash bags!
The TV screens were old and small, no 'smart TV' option like Hulu, netflix, etc to log into.
Kitchen shouldn't be cleaned out of EVERY condiment - silly for every guest to need to bring salt, pepper, cooking oil or spray - a few things that last could be left on premises for a summer, at minimum.
Really odd to not offer contact-less check in at this point. Filled in a paper that we had already provided info for online, seemed unnecessary part of a check in. With COVID, would rather not have to go into a small office at all, let alone sit while handling multiple check ins and paperwork.

The location was wonderful! I loved having access to the beach and the pier over the Sound.
The staff was welcoming, friendly, and accomodating.
The Unit was really clean and there was plenty of kitchen utensils to make meals.
Being able to take my car closer to the beach so I did not have to carry anything was great!
It was great having a washer and dryer in the Unit!
The beach mat on top of the sand was great.
We did not have internet the entire week we stayed. They said that they were working on it, but we did not have any service.
Our second bedroom with the two twin beds had no overhead light...it had been dismantled.
The tv's were out dated and there was no tv in the spare bedroom.
There were many cob webs on the screen in the spare bedroom.
The sink in the main bedroom did not have a stopper on it.

About the only good thing was the woman working at check in when we got there was very nice and it was *somewhat* close to the beach.
Many things. First off the place did not have good maintenance. I took a picture of the fridge that looks like something had spilled down it and never got cleaned. Also our shower curtain bar had rusted and was leaking rust stains down onto the shower curtain itself. One of our units had missing cabinet doors and the woman beside us was telling us about the cockroaches in her unit that come out at night (thankfully the only one I saw was dead in our carport). Only 1 of the units is truly beachfront. All others are a bit of a hike and a few are even close to the road so nowhere near beachfront, but they definitely have beachfront pricing and list beachfront on the listing (it’s kind of like a lottery if you end up in unit A). Also it needs to be made more clear that there are MANY steps to get into the units with no assistive devices or elevators. You go up a flight to get to the front door, then another flight to get to the bedrooms and bathrooms, then another flight to get to the kitchen and living room. For obvious reasons this did not work well for my 80 year old grandmother who walks with a cane to do every singe day. Finally the only pool on site is indoors (I’m guessing not air conditioned because I was sweating the minute I walked in) and closes at 6pm. Not very fun for my kids when we want to enjoy the beach for as long as we can and not make the long hike back just for the small pool, so they barely got use of it.
4.5
It was a great value and space. I was happy with the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry in unit. Close to shopping and dining.
Would have liked a TV in both bedrooms

Location is amazing!! right next to a water sports place easy to rent boat, jet skis, paddle board, surf board etc
A private beach! which is great in size and also has lifeguards, plus easy access to the Sound side with a nice pier for fishing and hanging out.
Overall Ocean Pines is a great location, the units maybe old and some are a bit run down as we stayed in 2 units during our stay, that was the only issue we encountered as we had to move during our stay, since these units are time shares so while you may book Ocean Pines for a week or few days, there can be a situation where they have to move you from one unit to another during your stay.
the need to move from one unit to another, but it worked out and the staff (Misty) at front desk is just a delight to work with. She is so informative, helpful, and courteous and ensures your stay and your time at Ocean Pines is great and provides any help she can.

The location was great. It was very pleasant and peaceful. It got busy when the holiday traffic started coming in, but overall the location was perfect.
The pool at the resort needs updated. We didn't use it at all. It didn't look clean and it was completely enclosed so the water was ice cold. It was not heated either. The ocean was warmer. We stayed in E1, there is water damage inside of the walls and roof. It made our throats itchy and we were sneezing a lot. So that means mold, we could also smell that there was water damage/mold. We unfortunately have had experience with that problem in our previous home so we knew right away what it was.

Location was excellent! It was central to do what we wanted to do.
The only thing that was concerning was a hole in the floor in the master bathroom.

Too many stairs

loved that it was directly on the sound with 2 balconies and quick access to a dock. liked the amount of seating for meals. it was definitely enough room for a family of 5. we would stay again.
smelled a little musty. bathrooms were a little rough and the downstairs one kind of smelled like sewer on and off. main bed was very soft but didn’t hurt my back. thought the indoor pool was going to be heated, it wasn’t. my 7 year old didn’t mind. but too cold for other kids.
2.5
It was very quiet and we loved how comfortable the beds were. We also enjoyed the view of the water from the balcony's.
There were bugs that were exterminated, but weren't removed. The woman at the office told us we had water bugs. Some of them were still alive.
1.5
The convenience to the ocean and sound and balcony area were nice.
We had no hot water during our stay. One of our guests became locked in their room due to a broken door knob. One twin bed was filthy with dirt and hair on the sheets. Many earwigs and spiders in the unit and one person was bit.
4.0
Clean, comfortable, quiet area. Close to beach and sound. Grounds were clean, pool/hot tub were very nice. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and utensils.
Lot of steps in the unit take a toll on arthritic knees. Stairways are open and would be a risk for small children. Need more pillows.
3.0
The indoor pool.
Hot tub was freezing cold.
