Location is great and rooms have a lot of space
Dishes were not clean (lipstick on the glasses in my room)
Breakfast is very minimum and no healthy options
Only one person at the reception was nice. The others didn’t even bother to say hi or help out properly (very grumpy)
All the people I met during my trip were really kind to me except for the experience in the hotel.
I prefer to give very positive reviews but I can’t provide a better rate than a 6.

Barely warm food. Good selection, just worry that it being barely warm is a health hazard.
Sound proofing rooms. Had to listen to loud intercourse in the next room for 2 ½ hours. No room to lobby phone, too late to leave…

I liked the room and the location of the hotel. It was central to everything in the downtown area, and you could walk to all the restaurants and places you need to get to.
Nothing that I could really think of. Overall, it was a well-rounded experience, nothing to complain about.

Location
Lobby was upstairs. Very awkward and a little inconvenient. Parking was an added $38 when it costs $3 to park on the street.

The location was perfect! We walked to our event at Van Andel and easily found somewhere to walk to for dinner. The hotel was a very cool mix of modern and old. The pool was great for our kids. Breakfast was great and the breakfast staff was very friendly. Fitness center was well-equipped and clean. We will definitely stay again when we visit the area.
Need more towels in the guest rooms and pool area
5.0
Clean and walking distance to what we had planned.
4.5
In Downtown Grand Rapids and parking in the same building
Lower rooms are quite claustrophobic and not much private.
3.0
The location
We had a terrible “view” of the parking garage from our 900 dollar room. You could hear loud cars and music
4.5
Very nice and good sized room. We had a family wedding downtown and it was perfect to have the big kitchen. Very clean.
The elevator situation caused some confusion. Better signage from the parking lot to the hotel and elevators would help alot.
2.5
Excellent location.
I have stayed at the property before and know how great the rooms can be, which is why we booked with family to stay. The room we were given was 1/8 of the size for the living room and kitchen as the normal. The rest of the room was a long dark hallway with the only window in the whole room facing the ground level parking garage in bedroom. Not at all what is described in photos.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great and parking was very easy.

Very close to the concert venue. It was perfect for us coming from out of town. We had dinner at the restaurant/bar connected to the hotel. Great food and drinks. Well priced.
We had no dislikes, found the hotel to be very nice and comfortable.
3.0
conveniently located to shopping and dining as well as our concert venue.
Room was not very clean, dirt, hair and dust in corners and under side tables, hair in shower, shower head was dirty and kinda terrible, mirrors were cloudy and streaky, expensive parking, room was noisy you could hear what seemed to be everything outside (street view) as well as from surrounding rooms and a few times it sounded like someone was trying to get into our room (mostly from shared door). Snacks and drinks from counter were pricy but convenient, it was nice to see some out of the norm healthier options. I didn’t not feel like I got what I paid for, just paid for location.

Located close to the Van Andes Arena
No shampoo in shower
Lots of noise in the hallways at 1 am

The room was large and spacious. Great proximately to Van Andel Arena. Very walkable. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Parking was a bit confusing. Breakfast was mediocre at best.

Stephanie at the breakfast buffet was exceptional! We would have liked to have waffles, however, we heard that the one available kept blowing a circuit breaker. I would suggest getting a different one or put in a bigger breaker!
The first room we went to unfortunately had all the bedding in a pile on the floor and the dresser drawers were hanging open. We were quickly given an equivalent room on the same floor by Dave at the front desk.

location
Our room; the shower wasn’t clean it had hair on the walls of it, the coffee pot still had an old pod from previous people who stayed. Also, I didn’t really like the fact of having to pay $38 for parking in garage attached to hotel, after already paying to stay. If we are guest at hotel, then parking should be free.

Close to DeVos Event Center and VanAndel Arena
Could have been a little cleaner.

Glad to have what we had however would like more breakfast choices. Double room size was great!
The sound of the HVAC and what appeared to be running pipe water sounds. Our room location was on the 2nd floor!
