It was spacious.
The distance between the parking garage and the building. The television was at a side angle on the wall instead of facing the bed.

The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were beautiful bathroom with double vanity was perfect for my husband and I.
8.0
Very spacious with many nice character features. Typical of a large old metropolitan hotel, originally built in a very opulent style.
The downtown location inevitably some downsides, particularly late at night.
Our room was ideal for 3 people but the hotel didn’t seem to be well set up for use of the sofa bed.

Location
The bathroom was dirty, lots of pubic hair, the fridge was frozen and had food from the previous guest. When I complained with the hotel staff they didn’t seem to take. I check out a day earlier.

Awesome location and beautiful hotel. The hotel is central to downtown Syracuse, so everything is within a 15 minute walk which was very convenient. The staff was extremely friendly!
There was no do not disturb sign so housekeeping knocked every hour on the hour starting at 8:30am. The room could have been cleaner. The toilet also wasn't functioning when we first arrived, but my husband was able to fix it.

i love the ballroom in which the wedding i attended was.
I had to call numerous times for towels that were not delivered, i had to go down and get them 15 minites before we had to leave for the wedding. They must not believe in dusting the ceiling above the bed, a dust bunny fell on my face while i was watching tv. The desk person i talked to about it blew me off and acted like it didnt matter. $900 for a 2 night stay for a room that was not clean and being dismissed when you ask for it to be cleaned. I wont stay here again.

Localisation, petit déjeuner, bâtiment iconique, confort de la chambre
Ambiance de chaîne (mais c’est normal), accueil et personnel peu agréable, style daté
7.0
Location, breakfast, bed
Staff not involved, no style despite the interesting building, old bathroom

Reasonably priced
Front desk staff were rude/unwelcoming. Was asked “are you staying here?” incredulously after asking for the location of on-site convenience store. Connected parking lot is not actually connected by bridge, human feces in the stairwell of parking garage. Parking not validated for the connected garage but rather one down the street.

Very old hotel & very old equipment in the room.
We where 3 in the room for one night and we got 1 towel. Whene we ask from room service by telephone we didnt get response.
The t.v. did'nt work.
The glass winfow was dirty.

Love all the history. Beautiful building.
Parking. $27 for valet? Or $19 each time I enter the parking garage? Come on. The room was very expensive, free parking was expected and should be provided.

The hotel was central and quiet
We stayed 4 nights at the hotel. The service was not done properly in the room and we were short for towels and soap. I paid for a room for 4 people, finally we were only 2, we found only 2 small towels in the bathroom (instead of 4). I asked at the front desk for giving us at least 1 more towel and the following night we still had only 2 and no bath carpet any more, no hand soap and no body moisturizer. The beds were not done either. I had to ask at the font desk

Very convenient location right at the heart of downtown. The hotel is a historical building with many vintage charm. The room is spacious and very clean. My family really likes the gym which is very well equipped. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is served in the next door restaurant in a very pleasant setting with real waiter and waitress.

It was really cool with the historic atmosphere
The air did not work. It was about 76 degrees in the room with 6 people. I called the front desk but they couldn’t do anything late at night. When i checked out i told the person they looked like they were looking it up. Then she just randomly says sternly your all set. She totally ignored the comment about stuff not working

The staff was very rude and unprofessional.
One time they are allowed to bring Uber delivery upstairs another day they say it’s not allowed.
But the very best part is TWICE they delivered me dirty towel wich I won’t specify the type of dirt cause whoever is reading maybe vomit.
Let the manager notice and not even ONE single action was taken. Orribile.
Make sure if by any circumstances u take this hotel to bring new towels and new sheets with u.
To don’t forget also A vacuum cleaner to remove the huge amount of dust deposited during years of no cleaning care.
Very very unhealthy environmental especially if have dust allergies.

Shower could have been cleaner .

Room was quite spacious and the location was perfect. Bed was comfortable and being an older building - the hotel had a nice character touch to it.
The placement of the TV in the room was quite odd to say the least. Unless you are sitting at the desk within the room on a single chair - you really are not going to see much. This definately needs a reconsideration and I am sure the hotel can come up with a better option for a TV in the room.

I like location. staff ok.
Hotel cut too much budget. they don’t have even shower cap, q tips, pen and paper in the room. stay for 2 nights got 2 small cool water from front desk for welcome drink. and just a bottle in the room.

I had not stayed at this hotel so wasn't sure what to expect. As we entered the lobby was stunningly restored and beautiful. We were then greeted by a very helpful and friendly staff member at the check-in desk. We made use of the valet parking as the parking is a fair walk from the hotel. Overall, we loved our stay.

historic hotel, nice atmosphere, well maintained, spacious room with couch, spacious bathroom, good location in downtown , close to food market and art museum, and walking distance to nice coffee/breakfast shops. we were attending a wedding there and it was very convenient. wedding hall was very pretty.
The shower head position is not convenient, you get all wet and cold before the water is of good temperature. the light in the room is low, not convenient to get ready, a little better in the bathroom but still not optimal. Coffee machine and water bottles in the closet and high to reach for certain people.

The front office staff were very friendly and professional. Hannah from "Eleven"- Marriott restaurant was exceptional and very kind! Her service and interaction with guests was very commendable. Fernando was very thoughtful and was supportive during an incident that took place on my last night.
The fact that items were taken from my room. I left my jewelry and phone charger in a black bag in plain view. My mistake, however never thought I needed to worry about theft. I will say that Fernando was very professional and definitely was apologetic.
