Our stay was okay but not nearly as special as I had hoped it to be and the smell initially kept me from falling asleep

The Inn is a charming, old building that makes you feel like you are stepping back in time. The Tavern, the dining room, the library and the room we stayed in are tastefully and appropriately furnished and decorated and the staff was friendly.

Despite the lovely outward appearance and the fact that I had been so excited about staying at the Inn, I was ultimately disappointed. The room was not clean (shower and toilet were fine, but there was a lot of hair on the bathroom floor and so much dust on the bedframe and under the bed), the wallpaper was coming off everywhere and there was a very unpleasant sweet/damp smell that A/C and opening all windows could not get rid off. I understand that some of these issues may be due to understaffing (?) and the age of the building but I had expected more.

Lovely place to stay in Queechee

Great place to say to explore the areas around Woodstock in Vermont. Lovely historic Inn. Comfortable rooms and great breakfast.

The Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm was so lovely! I took my mum away for a birthday surprise and she absolutely loved it. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were very welcoming and the atmosphere in the common area/restaurant was so cozy. The food was also SO good. Highly recommend the butternut squash ravioli...could eat that everyday. It was also a good value to have breakfast included.

The bed was a little uncomfortable, like it had been used for years and years without replacement. The bed also made SO much noise every time someone moved.

The breakfast was nice and the everyone was very pleasant. I just had surgery so the room was at the perfect location no stairs and the shower accessible.

We found a makeup brush on the floor that was not ours so the cleaning person needs to be more aware and I itched all nite. I am allergic to dust mites so assuming they were in the bedding as I did not feel it while sitting in the chair, so the itching was not enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable but for the mites I would have slept well.

beautiful place, great location, decent breakfast but everyone

this was our second time here, the grounds are beautiful and it’s a great location, front desk staff and the after hours staff were amazing! so nice! easy check in and check out. I love the rooms, but our room this time was not as updated as our first time

even though kids are welcome, the other guests didn’t treat it that way, and seemed annoyed that our kids were there.

The breakfast was good. Waitress was competent and friendly! Dining room clean and cheerful. The table cloths added a lovely touch! Must add breakfast was included free with our stay!

Exact same breakfast selections on day two as those offered on day one. Maybe change it up a bit?!

Excellent choice in the Woodstock area

Free buffet breakfast was awesome. Rooms were updated but still historic. Loved the tavern and the location right by the gorge trail was perfect.

Staff was very nice room clean but if were not for the breakfast included I would say price too high

Breakfast was good. We also had dinner and it was excellent! Staff was great. Good location.

The wood floor was very uneven and one board was very bouncy I understand it is a very old establishment but I find that the floor issue was unsafe. Also when we were outside there was a sewage odor. Bed was ok but not the best.

Will absolutely be staying here again.

The breakfast, which was included, was the best I have ever had. Added bonus was getting to meet the owners dog, who walks around like she owns the Inn.

There was a glitch in the Booking.com system which did not communicate to the Inn that we had reservations. This took Michelle a few minutes of nervous searching to find. She then upgraded us to a King suite.

they had an event and we were hoping to enjoy the Bar and restaurant they have at the Inn but it was all closed due to event, and never let me know ahead of time

Location, quiet, comfortable bed. Staff pleasant, decent breakfast included.
