For 2 days - good stay

The facility was clean, the beach is near. The pool is very clean and has everything to have a pleasant day there. Additional - the barbeque is near so you can use it any time you need it. The staff is very helpful and does everything to make your stay pleasant . All beds are comfortable and you can get good night sleep. Between 10pm and 10am they have quiet time and works well when you have small kids with you. The restaurant is on the ground floor - so early in the morning you can have your coffee.

The rooms are a little bit outdated. The refrigerator is old(working), but old The sink did not drain the water properly(after we notified the management it got better) - it should be check before guests arrived. We should have a suite with sea view according to the reservation - we got suite with pool view

Disappointed

The property had a restaurant & it is close to the beach.

The elevator was broke & when i asked how are we going to get our luggage up to the room , i was told everyone else does….& it was very difficult always climbing the stairs to do anything…. There were 2 water main breaks in our area during our stay & we found out after the break…..we were not notified by the hotel….. needless to say I didn’t feel well at all(abdominal distress & nausea)for a few days after drinking the water. There was not a safe in the room which was a huge inconvenience & there was not a freezer in the fridge. The bathroom was Very Very small…. pictures on line were very deceiving. I was traveling with my daughter, and if my husband would have come, he would not have been able to fit in there, especially the shower…..he is 6 foot eight. Parking was Horrific…..very very minute parking spaces with poles on the sides of every other spot! Lucky we had a compact car….

Relaxing!

The person at the office was very nice when we checked in, and he gave us all the information we needed before heading up to our room, we were very happy with the room, it was more then we expected, and the location of our room was perfect, the rooms were clean, and comfortable, the bathroom shower pressure was better then expected too! The bed, and pillows were very comfortable, the view was awesome, the pool was great too, and the people there were all very friendly, and it was very quite the days we were there, just the perfect weekend for us, we didn’t eat at the restaurant because we ate out, or we ate in our hotel room, but we heard the food was great there too, I would recommend The Olympic Resort to our family, and friends also, thanks Olympic resort for a relaxing, and enjoyable time my husband, and I spent there, we really needed some R&R and we we were very happy with our stay there❤️🙏😉

The towels were a little rough, we looked on the bright side though, a great way to exfoliate after a nice long walk on the Boardwalk, and beach, the towel company could us a better fabric softener for there customers though, but again we had a very relaxing stay at The Olympic Resort, thank you so much,I wish we could go back again soon before the colder weather sets in❤️🙏😎☀️🏊‍♂️🏖

Perfect beach getaway

The location was perfect. The management is excellent! The room was updated and super clean. The cleaning staff is amazing. I highly recommend staying here. My daughter and I had an amazing time here and plan to come back next summer.

no manager on premises, office was locked to check in. Had to call hotel phone number, waited about 20 mins for someone to arrive. Work was being done at hotel and workers were EXTREMELY loud. It was non stop in morning, there was no sleeping in

It was clean & close to the beach staff was friendly. They had the baby pool separate from the big pool

The parking is super tight. The toilet constantly ran, didn't have a good view of the beach or really anything from our room.

Front Desk should be more accommodating

Front Desk was horrible, wasn't sure if we were going to be there for the10pm check in cut-off time (checking in with 3 kids and had a 3 hour commute), so I called to let the hotel know that we may be there slightly after 10pm. The Front Desk guy was very rude and refused to be accommodating. His reason was that he cannot leave a key because we were only booked for a 1 night stay (meanwhile this costed us $230). I stayed at MANY hotels in the past - where we have arrived late and every single one of these hotels were accommodating to us. In the end - we arrived way before 10pm and he did called around 9pm to say he was going to leave a key for us. However, I could not get over my initial conversation with him earlier that day. Why give customers a negative vibe even before they arrive? I would NEVER stay here again. In addition - the rooms are very dated.

We enjoyed our comfortable bedroom which was quiet. The refrigerator was an added surprise!

Dave at the front desk was cheerful, helpful, and efficient.

Room had a slight mold smell. Bathroom smelled of cigarettes when guest upstairs was smoking. Dated rooms with worn couch in living room.

Thankfully we spent all of our time outside.

Well, the location is fantastic and the man who owns the diner downstairs is amazing and so nice.

The oceanfront patio itself is slim. but view speaks for itself. However rooms were disturbingly outdated, broken, and gross. The beds were horrible, felt every single spring. The pink insulation hanging from the bottom of the fridge was gross and I had to make sure my kids didn't touch it. The ceiling tiles were like a basement, hanging down, all water marked. the window by the kitchen table had a huge crack in it so that was also dangerous, The bathroom shower my god!! the shower head is in a corner, theres a shower seat blocking you to stand and you cant move the shower head so it literally is the most awkward shower ever lol. I was supposed to have a kitchenette in my room. All we had was a fridge and a coffee maker that didnt work.

Lovely weekend away

Everything. Staff was lovely, location was great, room was updated and clean. The little restaurant for breakfast/lunch was such a nice addition and delicious. Plenty of parking, elevator with bell carts which was so, so nice. The gentleman at the front desk was very welcoming and informative. Knew what restaurant were available(since it was technically off season still). Was very helpful with directions and policies. Was just all around friendly and we felt very welcomed. Absolutely will be staying again.

Great place to stay

Manager/owner was great. Friendly maid staff. Beach/ocean front view.

It was off season and the whole covid thing not much was open. Including the restaurant that belong to Olympic Island Beach Resort.
