A very nice room with good facilities, nice and clean, good breakfast
The air con unit had a fault on it and kept coming on every 40-45 minutes making a loud noise. Unable to switch off the unit and it only started after midnight, I was too tired to get dressed again and go down and speak to reception about it.

Great location to everything on north Lake Tahoe. Big room with okay included breakfast.

The room was spacious and clean for us 3, the fridge and microwave and coffeemaker made it possible to store and make our own meals, and the breakfast service had eggs as well as a variety of other things!
My partner did not like the powdered egg omelette. I thought they were fine!

I did not even make it to this hotel because of the massive winter storm that came through the area March 1-4. I was stuck in Reno and was unable to travel to the hotel because all roads to the location were closed and not expected to open. I contacted the hotel to let them know of this situation multiple times. I have continued to contact this hotel every single day to speak with someone regarding a refund for my trip that never happened because I ended up just flying home on March 2nd due to the persistent road closures and ski resort closures. Management was unable to even be at the hotel for several days according to the receptionist because they were also stuck in Reno. I escalated my issue through corporate and received an email response from the General Manager Kyle letting me know that there would be no refund because I had remotely checked into the room via the app (after receiving multiple emails and text messages harassing me to check in for my stay. This was done the day prior to even checking in when the weather had not shut down the roads yet). I proceeded to call Kyle and leave a voicemail which was never responded to. On March 8th, I called again explaining my situation to the person who answered the phone. I was assured I would receive a call back as soon as he returned to the office. I have still not gotten a call back. This has been going on for a week now. The day I escalated to corporate, the phones at the actual hotel were just completely shut off. Corporate was also unable to reach the hotel. I will continue to pursue this situation and will escalate as necessary. When I do return to visit the Tahoe area, this Hampton Inn will not get my business. Worst customer service I have dealt with in a long time.

Excellent breakfast with savory and sweet options every morning, including waffle makers. Very comfortable beds and spacious, quiet rooms. Excellent location, very close to Truckee and right off the main road for easy access.

Front desk staff was welcoming and friendly.
Room and bathroom are clean with toiletry. 24hrs coffee and tea in lobby. Breakfast was great with varieties. Great location.
The mattress is a bit squeaky, the mini fridge made sudden tidy noise once in a while, which I kept hearing it all night.

I like the proximity to the freeway and to Truckee.
it’s dated on the inside. the hallways look nicer than the actual room

location was great, near Northstar resort. It was quiet, comfortable bed and pillows.

Everything about the Hampton Inn exceeded my expectations. It was perfectly located - right down the street! - for skiing at Northstar. We were two friends and we each had lots of space. The room was spacious, the fridge was big with a freezer, the heat worked well (It was winter!), there were outlets for our devices and our blenders. The shower was nice and hot, and all the things we needed in the bathroom - dryer, towels, were laid out nicely. Most of all, the staff at the front desk were always friendly and welcoming, and gave us whatever we needed - advice, water bottles, suitcase storage - with a smile. The breakfast was the most substantial ever to get fueled for the slopes - substantial eggs - omelettes or scrambled, meat like sausage or bacon, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, juice, all of which I ate, and lots of pastries i didn't. There was an outdoor hot-tub on outside, that we didn't have time to try, but others said it was comfortably hot even on the coldest night, though quite chlorine-y. Still - a hot tub for post skiing!
There was literally nothing I did not like. A few of the electrical plugs did not work but there were so many it did not matter, partly because I did bring extension cords and USB chargers to extend them. The tea maker broke the last hour there, but we got the hot water from the breakfast place. All of this was reported and they said they would fix.

Very convient place and wonderful breakfast.
People are so kind and room condition was also perfect.
Nothing to pick up a thing to complain.

Breakfast was fine. Little omelets and sausage on Sunday better than the potatoes & bacon Saturday morning.
No complaints although only 1 elevator could be a problem.

Location and helpful staff
Very tired furnishings and carpets throughout. No closets in room. The pool is essentially in the parking lot and the pool hours were restricted to 10 AM start time so that anyone who wants to get a pre-work workout, could not use the pool. The room heater was noisy and kept going on and off all night long and the refrigerator also had an annoying hum.

The location is really nice. 5min walk to the grocery store. Right behind the gas station but if you drive 10min on I-80 E, you can save some $$$
Nothing really.
