Loved having kitchen facilities and a nice sitting area.
Because it rained the whole time we were there, we weren't able to explore and use the common space. But it looked nice!

Wonderful place! The cabin is beautiful ,comfortable, very clean, wonderful outdoor space for kids or dogs with barbecue and fireplace, 5 min walk to kids and dog park. The community was so welcoming and friendly! We love the place and people!!! Thank you!!!

It was very quite. We stayed 3 nights, but only had 3 coffee pods. Everything else was very nice. Our cabin was ADA compliant and it was set up perfectly.
It was just very hot during the day. It was approximately 105 degrees. The air conditioning worked great and kept us comfortable.

Cute and well planned
Hello MINERS CAMP.
As it happens, I did not stay at # 4.
When I arrived and opened the door , I was greeted with an overwhelming smell of dampness and woodsmoke.
I also sensed their wood be mildew with that intense dampness.
My driver from tha airport , when they brought my suitcase in said , " it stinks in here!"
I felt that the surroundings were not conducive to a comfortable stay for me.
I'm a 69 yr old woman with arthritis and I frankly didn't want to be in the intense smell and dampness.
I felt uncomfortable.
I chose to stay at a hotel in Auburn.
I was there to attend my nephew's wedding at the Forest Hill site and wanted to sleep well and have my clothes fresh and not odiferous
I know there are no refunds.
This did not work out.
I'm sure others may be fine;
but I wasn't.
Sorry if this is unusual, but it was my experience.
I'm not the kind to leave a nasty review; as I
said; my experience.
Thank you for your understanding and best wishes for continued success going forward.

the room was cute and cozy
the blanket on the bed had a hole in it.
the remote key access didn’t work early at 1230 as confirmed, but someone was able to fix it quickly when I called.

The theme of the room was very cabin
Floor boards felt like they need to be repaired

The partner advised that their property was not ready for accommodation due to power outage and weather and offered a cancellation and refubd. I agreed. I received an email that my reservation was canceled and refunded. They failed to follow up with booking.com to let them know to process the refund, which the most important part of the refund process. They did the same thing to a friend of mine for the same issue. These people need to take an active role in the admin for these properties. Not just sit back a send emails. Very poor business service.
Follow up with their promise to refund after canceling the reservation. The refund completed is kind of the whole point.

My wife and I were staying a couple of nights to go to my cousin's wedding which was about 2 blocks away so the location was perfect for us. We enjoy a beautiful few snowy days with our family and it couldn't have been a better setting. I would really like to see what it's like during the summer as well.
The cabins were what you would expect from cabins. We didn't expect a 5 star hotel room. The cabins were rustic but had some nice amenities that made things comfortable. It was freezing outside, but the heat in the room kept up with no problems.
WIFI worked great, and nice to have since satellite TV was unavailable during snow storm
Our family pretty much took over the whole place so we were able to see several of the rooms. Each room was a little different which made it pretty unique. Some had more beds or rooms, others had a stove. A lot of nice little touches.
We didn't get to enjoy the fire pit and outdoor kitchen, but my cousins build a huge 9-foot snowman in the middle of the courtyard...I'm sure the locals will enjoy that for a while ;o)
The bed was too soft for my comfort, I think thats just a comfort thing more than anything wrong with the place.
Satellite TV was out due to it being covered up with heavy snow during the days we were there. Not sure if regular cable is available up in the hills.

beautiful and clean
shower was amazing,
tv didn’t get a signal, but it literally dumped snow all day when we arrived so I think that was to be expected, and a night without tv didn’t hurt either.

Had to change rooms because of no heat. No hot water until they fixed it. Heat distribution throughout the room was very poor.

Loved the Rustic feel. it was a bit cold 1stnight until we found floor heater to warm bathroom area. 2nd night was perfect.

We had a great time. The facilities were very clean and well stocked with soaps and such. The beds were comfortable. The kitchenette was convenient for staying in cabin.
Someone parked in our stall and my family had no place to park. We used the other car so we got back late and someone else had parked there in front of our cabin. Only one towel per cabin was provided.

Great location stunning cabins very modern with an old time feel
Some weird things use wise. The curtain rods are sticks so they didn't stay open and they didn't shut all the way. Sink in the bathroom drips

This place has character! The cabin I had was full nice themed details, everything was clean and modern. The location was super quiet and peaceful. The place is remote, but wifi worked great and the near supermarket (Worton's) has everything I needed to enjoy my stay. Had a fantastic time there, wish I had spent more time in Foresthill.
Good job keeping that place together, hope I'll have a chance to visit again.

We were there for a wedding. There was one hotel available "Miners Camp" So I like that it was available.
I really am in disbelief that an Inn or hotel has the gumption to charge an "EXTRA" $30 to clean the room after the guests leave. Extra?? That's really something right there. So it made Miners Camp be very overpriced. But I guess when you are the only option you feel like you can do whatever you want cause you are the only option! And a question I have is you obviously did a "remodel" why didn't you put in more electrical plugs? That would make a huge difference in the appearance (It looks tacky cords and power strips" and convenience. And I think you should "splurge" and put up a curtain in the bathroom right behind the toilet we had to drape the shower curtain around the tank so peeping Tom didn't get a good look at our bits. You can do better. It wouldn't cost a lot.

This place is a great hidden gem in the mountains in a little mountain town in the middle of a neighborhood quiet rustic and like you are in your back yard cabins are rustic clean cozy and romantic for couples there's great outdoor grilling facilities and fire pit chairs parking next to your cabin it's pet friendly and I didn't want to leave we will be back.sunny south cabin was beautiful the staff over the phone was friendly and helpful and flexible with the payment method for pet fee since booking.com didn't give the option to pay pet fee when booking our stay . booking.com should fix that so not to inconvenience the hotel and client.the history is also cool and the beautiful scenery in forest hills is worth it.our new favorite place.
