Awful, Would never go back and am reporting this dump.

Some of the travelers were friendly and hiking the PCT so they were interesting to chat with. I liked the beds had curtains.

I did not like the red headed woman at the front desk she was very rude with no customer service skills. She had no Empathy and her manager was just as bad. I had a devastating problem and was traveling from Canada he would not even speak to me instead said he is off the clock I can book a different property. I definitely will be contacting the licensing board roo. The receptionist was drunk and drinking with the guests until after 330am and some travelers were doing drugs in the bathroom leaving things in bedroom doors to room hop. It was a disaster. I did not feel safe at all.

Very cute . Clean kitchen and nice common areas. Very central location and extremely nice staff.

I did get the non refundable single occupancy room and I wish I couldve saved more and changed it to the bunk room. (Was a little to expensive for me for the single). it was very nice regardless

Well worth the money, just listen carefully and do what you’re told.

The communal kitchen and sitting area was really nice and the bathrooms were plentiful and clean.

The staff were a bit snarky and seemed to view guests as an inconvenience.

Old days unique style and right town town , staff was great.

Pretty small room and a shared bath were the weakest traits ( had a couple to share and were pretty clean - just kind of a pain to get half dressed for a middle of the night whiz) .

Funky hostel with colorful walls. Truckee is very expensive, and so is this.

Great location within walking distance of restaurants, bakery, and breweries.

The room was very small, right off the kitchen, no screen on window.

I would definitely stay here again

It was eclectic. Although restroom and kitchen were shared everybody was very respectful

The bed wasn’t the most comfortable and not being able to bring in our own pillows.

excellent hostel with excellent staff, really in downtown Trucker. definitely would be here again if I am in Trucker ! perfect spot to scout Lake Tahoe.

Great location! Bargain price! Fun communal atmosphere!

The communal aspect of the bar, kitchen, dining/living and library were unique and fun. As a single guy on a solo vacation it was nice to visit with some of the other guests and staff.

The bed rooms and bath rooms could use some shelves and better hooks to organize your stuff.

Expensive, but extremely cute and lovely place

Extremely cute hostel, i have just never seen anything as perfectly theme decorated as this. bunk beds were not just bunk beds, but little cabins, with curtains, own locker (inside the cabin) etc. Nice big kitchen, TV and games room, a great functioning sauna, enough bathrooms, a great bar with beers in tap right in the mini lobby, great relaxed staff, i don´t even know where to stop. Wonderful little place

The price was ridiculously high, but since everything else in the skiing area was booked, i had to book this. and was pleasantly suprised. If you don´t look at the price tag, everything else is just great.

Great location in downtown Truckee. The bar is fun, they have a kitchen and living area for guest use.

I booked two nights, but only stayed one because I couldn't do another night of the shared bathroom.

I loved the location.

The shared bathrooms could have had a sign for vacant/not vacant so other folks won't keep pounding on door when I'm in the bathroom. I didn't feel safe.
