Great location. Close to everything and yet so far away! I loved our suite with the incredibly comfortable bed and luxurious bath/spa. The grounds are beautiful.
No complaints!

I had an exceptional stay at Stone Manor. This beautiful property is family-owned and run and Prashant and Manisha went to such great lengths to ensure that my stay was wonderful. The hotel itself is wonderfully decorated with a generously appointed bar area, relaxation rooms, and numerous nooks and spots to curl up in with a cup of tea or a glass of wine. My room was lovely and exactly what I needed to relax and recharge before and after attending a wedding in the area. But the biggest draw of the weekend was the incredible breakfast - Manisha, Prashant and their team of chefs prepared the most delicious spread in their beautiful dining room; truly one of the best breakfasts I've ever eaten. It was quite cold the weekend I was there so I did not spend much time on the grounds, but I am very much looking forward to returning in the spring or summer for another stay and taking advantage of them, possibly along with my dog, as the property is dog-friendly. From downtown Washington D.C. it was only an hour and 15 minute drive, so this is a perfect spot for anyone looking for a weekend get-away to visit the many nearby wineries and breweries and hiking trails.
You will be thrilled with your stay at Stone Manor!

It is a historic inn with uniquely beautiful furnishings and rooms. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The outdoor areas were beautiful. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We loved every minute of our stay and will be back!
Room was slightly warm, but the ceiling fan helped.

Our stay was spectacular! The delicious, six-course breakfasts were carefully and thoughtfully prepared to appeal to the eye as well as the palette. Outside, the gardens were every bit as gorgeous as the beautifully appointed rooms. Our hosts were kind, generous, and personable. We hope to return in the near future.
I hate to leave this space blank, so I must say that there is not a single thing that I didn't like.

Breakfast fantastic!
Room was dark and in basement. Prefer room that is bright.

Manisha and Prashant were warm and welcoming. It was a quiet Sunday evening at the hotel, and they invited us to explore the brightly decorated historical house with all of its modern bathrooms and renovations.
If we’d had better weather, it would have been nice to explore the grounds a bit.

Breakfast was very good. Staff/owner were friendly and helpful. The grounds were beautiful. The bathroom was spacious in our room. Shower had great water pressure and jacuzzi tub worked well. Linens were luxurious. They had a free coffee/tea bar, and you could select a bottle of wine and pay for through your room. We didn't but it was nice that it was available. You have to drive down windy roads to get to restaurants. Excellent wineries nearby and 20 min drive to Harpers Ferry.
The decor in our "Turret" room was too much for the room. The pictures on the walls, drapes, and stained glass horses in every window were nice but overall there was way too much stuff in this small room. The bed, arm chair and lounge bench were beautiful. The fireplace was actually an electric heater with a running video of a fireplace inside a chest. Sort of lame. It produced good heat though. The bed was ridiculously squeaky. Wifi was useless, my t-mobile was only a little better. There were extension cords to plug in devices at bedside. A floor lamp or additional lighting by the armchair would be nice. Overall, this place was way overpriced for what you get.

Romance and elegance at a beautiful inn. Exceptional breakfast. Manisha is a gracious host, answering questions, giving a tour of the Inn and making you feel at home. Peace and quiet--the only sound we heard in the evening was an owl hooting. The fruit/cheese plate and chocolate-dipped strawberries were a great add. The Peacock suite was a pleasure, but all the rooms are beautiful. Will definitely return.

The property was very comfortable inside and out. We had coffee in the beautiful garden area. The birds were singing and Enjoying the property…what a great start to my day.
Next was the breakfast. Pancakes, bacon, hash browns, egg soufflé, fruit parfait and an amazing homemade scone! Order some to take home they were really good!
The owners were so friendly and hospitable. We sat and talked at breakfast for over an hour. They would be welcome at my home anytime, well only if they bring scones 😉.
We would highly recommend this property.
If you like wine, there were so many vineyards close by.
I would really have to think hard to find something that we didn’t like.

Stone Manor Boutique Inn gets everything right. The inn is stunning and very finely furnished. The bed was so comfortable...which isn't always the case at a B & B or hotel. Nice linens, clean, cozy and lovely room. Gorgeous grounds for walks, fire pit, extensive patio seating, seating in a wooded area for weddings and more. This would be a beautiful place to get married with plenty of space for a large reception. We had the feeling of being in the countryside while only being an hour away from home. The six-course gourmet breakfast is phenomenal. Scones were so delicious I ordered some to take home. It is clear that Manisha and her family love what they do because it shows in every detail from the moment you step foot on this property. We look forward to our next stay with them.

Beautiful scenery, great breakfast, convenient location. Would definitely stay again.
Stink bugs, but at not fault of their own. Just a bad seasonal bug.
