Our kids loved the popcorn and hot chocolate that was added to the welcome basket, which was an excellent touch. The cabin included its own electric fireplace that was super helpful not only to keep us warm but to try off our clothes after being in the rain touring the town. Additionally, we appreciated the access to a water hose to rinse out our coolers from sand.
I wish the hot tub had a pergola type structure so that it is more enjoyable even during the Alaskan in climate weather.

Beautiful view overlooking the ocean, perfect location just outside of Homer. Nice to have a firepit and picnic table to enjoy the view. Full kitchen and laundry is also a nice option. We will return when we can stay longer.

Everything about this stay was fantastic. The Raven cabin was in perfect shape upon our arrival, they called us to let us know our cabin was ready ahead of time, provided the door code as soon as the cabin was available, the view was fantastic, access to the hot tub/grill/fire pit were added bonuses. The beds were the most comfortable we experienced during our week in Alaska! The cabins are a few miles from the spit but a quick drive. We could have stayed longer! Overall, our family of 4 would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to spend a few days in Homer.
Nothing. Everything was fantastic!

We were arriving a little late to get the keys but the Winter gave me the code to get in. I also contacted Winter several times with questions and she got back to me immediately with answers. She was positive, friendly and helpful. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable I’ve slept on. There was coffee and some instant oatmeal for breakfast! The view was stunning from the backyard and it had chairs to sit outside, a grill and hot tub!
Everything was fantastic!

The hot tub, the view. Super comfy bed.
The person who answered the phone was not very pleasant. Acted like it was an imposition to call and ask about how I was to get in. Very short. When I called to see if I had left my shoes, they said they would call back, never did. When I called a second time, was very short, and quickly told me that she wouldn't send them to me since I was local. I'm 1.5 hours away. She was going through my town that day, so I asked if she could drop them off, and was told that she lives somewhere else and couldn't do this.
I would not have expected them to be dropped off, but she was going through my town, so I thought I would ask.
When I asked if they were left there she said that she thought that my shoes were in the laundry room. I said well are they, or are they not.
The customer service skills of this person, was defintely less than steller.

I felt that a sign placed INSIDE with the notice that you were on camera was unnerving (I understand if it was posted near the hot tub).

The view!
There was nothing we didn’t like.

stunning view from the top of a bluff where the cabins sit looking out over the ocean. you can watch the sunrise and the sunset from here. A bald eagle perched in the tree across from the front porch. gorgeous well built cabins, the craftsmanship is amazing. The cabin supplied coffee, hot chocolate and oatmeal as well as a full kitchen. I love the gas stove, the flames are so relaxing and gives the cabin such a cozy feel.
my credit card was lost during this trip and I didn’t realize until we were out of town, before we could even make it back to the cabin the host was inside stripping beds trying to find it. It was found at a local restaurant…but I sure appreciate her effort in looking.
Nothing at all really. This is one of my favorite stays in Alaska

All around beautiful place. Looked small but when you go in it feel huge. Really a awesome place to stay
The bed hurt my back. And the floor was super slick for my dog to walk on only mention it cause it's pet friendly so a rug would have fixed that.

on arrival, we were greeted by the very friendly host, who pointed out the amenities and parking. The cabin was immaculate and unexpectedly well-appointed. the view from the bluff just outside the windows was spectacular, and we were pleasantly surprised that noise from the highway didn't seem to penetrate into the location.
the bunks were pretty tight for adult women; the headspace limited and the metal ladders to the upper bunks difficult to scale. the cabin was clearly set up to accommodate a couple (in the king bed) and four children in the bunks.

There were 5 Chalet type units side by side. Free standing units. we never heard a sound from anyone. These units sat atop a large bluff. we had s wonderful view of the Bay, the mountains and Cooks Inlet. Gorgeous. The cabin was well equipped. had everything we needed. Loved the gas log freestanding fireplace that kept us cozy. we would definitely stay again if we get back to Alaska. So loved the wood floors!!!
bathroom tub/shower really needs a rubber type mat. it was slippery and we had to be cautious getting in and out. The only other thing I can think of would be to add a couple of throw blankets to wrap up in when needed.

The cabins were very very clean.
On the website it seemed as though the cabins were on the water. That’s one of the reasons we picked it. They were in front of the water but on a cliff where we couldn’t get to it.

The location was amazing, the view out the back deck was stunning. It was a perfect cabin for our family. So comfy and ideal cabin get a way feel. It was even better than we expected and within minutes of everything we did during our long weekend.

It was a beautiful place to stay, the view was the best part. We almost went with a different spot to stay while we were in Homer but i’m glad we went with this spot. It was quiet, clean, and well stocked with any smaller items you may need.
