We really enjoyed our stay, all the staff was exceptionally nice. Beautiful location. Will return in the future.

No hot water in the room - 30min wait for a cocktail from the bar - 45min wait for breakfast the following morning. Because we used Booking.com, the hotel would not offer any compensation for the terrible stay.

The room location was great. The property was great.
A microwave in the room. Broken chair on patio. Did not like the coffee maker, to loud.

We love the grounds
The service at the restaurant was average. It took a very long time to get drinks and food. The wait staff was extremely pleasant.

Loved the grounds, resort facilities. Mill Restaurant was excellent. Love the adults only pool.
Room was dated and felt like a pet room. Bathroom was dated and tiny. Amenities were almost empty (body wash). Barre class was decent. No hot tub. Only room service for breakfast and not dinner.

Mill room breakfast was great. We got the omelet on the menu and Belgium waffle with delicious homemade tasting whip cream and was so good we got it again the next day.
Check-in was a bit of a hassle. Initially, I got 2 cards that didn't work for the room- unfortunately we didn't find out they didn't work until we drove our car to the next building where the room was located ( and brought luggage to the room) and then had to drive all the way back to the building with the front desk. They initially told us the problem was likely the battery for the electronic lock on the door, but after getting new keys it worked. Off to a rocky start, but the rest of the trip was great.

The location, amenities, and staff were all terrific
One waitress at the on property restaurant was underwhelming compared to all the rest of the excellent treatment we received from every other employee.

Hospitality has a new meaning after our visit at Boars Head. From the beginning at check-in consiere service greetings and salutation is like a family event. The brilliance in smiles and going above and beyond greetings. Insuring comfort and security and safety are paramount. Bravo..BRAVO...BRAVO... THE menu is better than any other with fresh Ness flavor and quantities. Servers in the restaurant mmmuuhha.. over the moon kindness. The entertainment guitarist lightened the ambiance.
Nothing to improve... the hospitality IS above all other.

It’s beautiful in a great location especially for going to wineries. We loved the balcony and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Construction noise, heavy doors on rooms and exits that slammed loudly when closed (at all hours). The Mill House dining was not that great. The food was expensive and choices limited especially as to value. I don't need three fish dishes, a rabbit dish, or steak with black bean sauce. Staff is friendly. Getting from Boar's Head to places in C'ville is a nightmare. Parking isn't the best either. Rooms are clean and spacious, bed comfortable, bathroom okay. The Bathroom could use a fan.
