Old unit -- you get what you pay for (not much)

Awesome location and perfect communication from the company managing the rental. The unit has a door code so no need to collect keys. The outdoor shower was great for rinsing off on the way home from the beach.

This unit is old & tired and they are not trying to be good hosts. The toilet paper was single ply, there were only 2 towels in the bathroom even though we booked for 3 people, and both the bed and sofa bed were so old and so uncomfortable. There was a sign on the lanai so that guests don't hang their towels from the railing, which is completely understandable. But they didn't provide a line or a rack to dry our towels, even though it's across the street from the beach -- what are they expecting? The bathtub was so dirty with old grime (needs refinishing) that it wasn't suitable for a kid to take a bath. There is barely any light in the living room and we had to work to figure out how to make the lamps work. In the living room they put the couch right in front of the AC so you can't sit there while it's on without getting a blast of cold air in your face.

Adequate stay.

Location is good, across the beach.

No air condition in the bedroom. Sofa mattress is not comfortable, can feel the springs. Had to sleep on the sofa itself instead of pulling the mattress out. Kitchen is small but we didn’t do much cooking. Would be nice to have a light by the door to more easily see the numbers for the key code especially at night.

Clean, cozy condo in a prime location!

The management company, AA Oceanfront Rentals, was very detailed and helpful, both before and during our trip. The location of the unit in South Kihei was great!

If you like keeping the windows open, the sound from people using the pool could sometimes get very loud.

Loved every minute of it, in and out of 2207....

What breakfast? The location was perfect for me...across from Charley Young/Kam I and walking distance to FoodLand, ABC, Cafe au Lei, etc. Three minute drive to snorkeling locales. Most nights, fellow guests observed the 10 pm quiet time. Ample parking, a mail drop is a handy aspect, and the design is such that the bedroom stays the cooler room of the unit. Extra towels and bedding, if needed. What's not to like?! :-)

Small thing, but the light just outside the door is operated by timer....which I couldn't override: so that unless I remembered to carry a flashlight at sunrise or sunset, there would be no light by the door....and I was unable to see the keypad to type in code! I had a flashlight, but there was not one in the unit. Sometimes it would be too rowdy down by the pool....noisy! Kids scream! THAT is parents and/or grandparent's fault....

Unclear unit number. Non function of door code. Four cinfusing phone calks to booking.com and lical rental agent responsible.

Good location and a well-managed resort.

The basic needs (dish soap, trash bags, toilet paper, etc,) was great. Very good general instructions were of great help.

The carpet is quite stained and did not appear to be very clean.
