Great location, unit needs maintenance

Location

Cabana has a lot of potential, but it was worn and in need of maintenance. The Wi-Fi was intermittently working and then stopped working. The water flow in the kitchen faucet was very low. The paint was peeling off the wall and the cabana smelled a bit like mildew, especially in the bathroom. There aren’t any rugs on the floors. And the decor was a bit dated. Plants could be freshened up outside in the front planter.

All around a good relaxing stary.

The location was great! Close to the beach and restaurants. The room was clean and what we needed for our stay.

Check-out time was way too early. Hotels usually give more time for guests to at least shower. Your check-out time was advertised on the contract to be a 10 a.m. but then got a text that check-out time was moved up an hour to 9 a.m. Not happy about that. We managed to gather our things and leave by 9 a.m. but it was a rush to do so. Other than that, the place was great!

Great location and loved the area, but the property was a disappointment for the price we paid.

No breakfast available. This was a beach cabana with kitchen facilities where we stayed for 3 nights. The location of our stay was excellent and probably why we paid a premium price for this property. It was wonderful to be less than a 3 minute walk to the beach and sand dunes and about a 10-15 min walk to restaurants and shops. The beds were also comfortable, and we loved the fireplace. We found the property to be very clean; however, there were small random globs of some kind of goo stuck on the long kitchen wall for starters prior to other eventual disappointments.

In no special order: The LR and front BR blinds were metal. When we opened or closed the veins for privacy or daylight, only half would turn with the rod. The rest had to be manually turned. Some didn't work at all. The sofa bed needs to be replaced. Very low and very shallow meaning no where to comfortably sit in the LR. The cushions sank into the frame besides making it very difficult to get out of it. (We instead sat in the plastic chairs provided for the table.) The TVs were frustrating. No call list for major networks, and difficult to figure out the Guide. We gave up. No music to listen to either. It was a nice added feature to have 2 sinks in the bathroom; however, one of the drains was so slow, we could only use one of them. Rubber mats are needed in the bathtub. Terribly slippery, so we had to put a towel in there for safety during showering. The laminate on the lower cupboard door under the kitchen was peeling away. We would have liked to sit outside but the outdoor furniture was dirty with not enough paper towels available for us to wipe them down.

Great location..

We loved the location. The room was clean except for the strong odor of dog urine. I do appreciate the unit we chose was animal friendly, but the smell was a bit overwhelming.

Amazing proximity to both the beach and town center. Lovely spaces inside and out. Easy, accessible parking.

Would be nice if wifi info were posted in either emailed information or inside the unit; had to message for it.

Relaxing, comfortable and quiet…just what we needed.

It was a perfect location for my family. Secluded from others and close to the beach! The weather could have been nicer, however, but I know you have no control over that. A very nice getaway!

On the rainy day, I worked on the puzzle for fun, however upon finishing it I found there were at least 8 pieces missing. Just a suggestion, but a newer complete puzzle might be nice for future guests. Also, even though the inside of our place was very clean, the outside of the front window above the table was badly in need of cleaning. Just a once over would surely help.

Disappointing

location

This is a pet friendly unit and we expected possible dog odor, but when we opened the door and entered the unit, the smell of animal urine was overwhelming in the carpet. we brought our two dogs ( completely house trained) they didn’t even want to lay on the floor, I brought dog beds and am now home from my vacation washing them because they smell so bad from being on the carpet. The unit was not clean, bathroom floor, the door, walls and toilet were dirty (the towels were clean at least) there is obvious deferred maintenance. Vacasa (property management company)tried to relocate us to a different location a block away across the main road without ocean view and a one bedroom. Their email said don’t worry about additional cost, we will take care of it…..this property was 1/2 the cost on their website in comparison to the two bedroom we paid for. We bought a candle and a bottle fabreeze and decided to tough it out because the location and ease to get the dogs to the the beach was far more convenient, thankfully we packed slippers. Vacasa credited back one nights fee, I’m my opinion they should have compensated at least 1/2 or all of what we were charged. Such a let down for my 50th getaway vacation. it’s a great property, and I would stay there again if they replaced the flooring and did a more thorough job of cleaning.

Fourth time here . Love the location and it is pet friendly . Will definitely return.

Location to beach and town

Bathroom sinks clogged . Drain very slowly. Toilet brush needs replacing . Moldy. Overall good accommodations.
