Simple but had all the necessary things. Rooms have decent space for their price.

The property was spotlessly clean, the location was terrific and the staff were very kind.
Nothing.

Beds were comfortable, showers were nice. The receptionists were nice and helpful.
Was easily the oldest and overall worst looking hotel I've ever stayed at. Everything about the place felt super dated, except for the showers. Room was very small and the nightstand looked like it was 100 years old. The smell in the hallways was pretty gross, I think it had to do with the carpet which was also pretty gross. The biggest kicker was just how much it cost. It was way overpriced and definitely not worth it for what you get. Would not recommend unless your staying a night or 2 and will not be spending much time in the hotel

Great location.
There was construction on one of the two common toilets.

This guy charges you 140 for a room that doesn't have AC and the bathroom is shared insane!!!

location was the best, parking is easy. beds were very clean, staff was really helpful and friendly. check in was easy. place was a little hard to find while driving just cause it’s a little hidden. they really helped us out last minute when our previous placed didn’t let us check in
might need renovations but i love the vibes of it as is. for the price was really good as well.

Good value for money, close to bus/metro that brings you everywhere. The fridge was noisy, but it was good to have in the room. Hotel staff was very nice in general, even though there was some confusion on the last day, but it was all fine.
The place is not well taken care of. The room smells weird, and everything except for the showers is old. The kitchen closes at night, which is inconvenient if you want to grab water or something later on, maybe having a water station on the corridor would be nice.

It was quiet, the staff were all friendly and answered my questions, it was easy to access the hotel, lots of stuff like food, drinks, shops nearby. the shared bathroom was never an issue, everyone keeps to themselves.
hated the no parking situation, the garage across the street charged me $30 (left twice in a day $15 each time) for parking, there is no overnight parking close enough, also a baby roach crawled across my room when i woke up. and outside my window was a brick wall, no city or scenic views.

Can't speak highly enough of the staff, they were all so friendly and helpful. As soon as I arrived I was given a warm welcome, and various recommendations of places to visit and things to do during my stay. The hotel has good facilities, no problems with the WiFi and the kitchen has an oven, microwave, toaster, everything you need. It's in a good location, there are many restaurants nearby, and it's only a 10 minute walk to catch a bus or the metro, around 15-20 minutes walk to the downtown area. The rooms aren't exactly luxurious but for the price I expected much worse (there are worse hotels in worse areas charging significantly more than this hotel) - the bed was comfortable, and there was a fridge in the room which is always a plus. Would absolutely stay here again and 100% recommend it :)

Easy to get to from Union station. Cool area within the little tokyo district and easy walking to the central market and disney concert hall.
Some of the facilities were quite dated. Walking at night wasn't the most comfortable. Lots of homeless people living around the area. There was a sign on the wall saying someone had been breaking in but I was not notified when I checked in as a single woman. Would have been good to know. The shared kitchen space didn't seem very clean and the fridges were completely full of food. It is likely to me some people were living there full time. Bed was ok for comfort but the room was quite cold and there was only a very thin blanket and sheet with the bed. They offered a space heater but there was no one at the desk to help me in the evening when I needed it. Would have liked to have got the heater when I checked in rather than upon request.

Friendly staff, next to Downtown and many metro lines, the showers were renovated and nice
Old and partly broken furniture (mirror, wardrobe), the window to the next house wall (1-2m between), kitchen was not clean and no kitchen equipment (no cutlery etc)

The staff was super nice and helpful, accommodating my needs very well.
I loved the Little Tokyo region, so it was delightful to visit the Japanese shops and restaurants around the hotel.
I came in knowing very well what to expect from the facilities. The hotel has 2 bathrooms and 2 showers per floor, that is shared among all rooms. But the bathrooms and showers were always very clean.
The hotel is not super comfortable, and there's no room service at all. But for the price, in the area, I think it has great value.
The room was a little cold, since there was no heating. But I asked for an extra blanket, and then it was fine.
