The location is great. We loved the view.
The stairs

The view was incredibly beautiful! It was very clean and within walking distance to Friday Harbor.
There are steps and stairs, so just be forewarned about that if you have disabilities.

Amazing views.
Nothing major. Staircase might not to suitable for elderly people who considers this place.

A comfortable room to enjoy a quiet stay with a million dollar view. Jennifer met us at the property to answer any questions we had and proved to be a great source of information for eating out and sightseeing. All in all it was a great experience and we hope to return soon.

Excellent location-walking distance to Friday Harbor- quiet, clean and fantastic views
Toilet was a bit finicky

View was fantastic, location/distance to town perfect, great communication with host, parking easy.
Wifi was unstable and unreliable. Coffee maker and some dishes weren't clean.

So close to town and the Ferry, but so quiet and serene. The views are incredible!
We would have rather had a king size bed.
we had to be careful on the steps going up and down from the street level.

Location is perfect. 5 minutes away from anything in FH. View is outstanding. watch the ferries arriving, harbor seals playing, sunrises. Couldn’t ask for better.
The bed needs a frame. It’s on rollers so when you sit there looking at the view, it’s slowly creeping away from the wall. Had to push it back constantly. Stone steps leading down are a little treacherous. Parking is limited.

Location was great and a phenomenal view.
Could use a little more shelving/drawers to put clothes and a few more things to make the kitchen more usable/functional.
4.6
The breakfast was amazing ,the bed and room quiet and comfortable.
the property is a very long way from the ferry dock and offered no transport. Taxi service was expensive and difficult to come by.
4.6
The location is excellent and the view was spectacular. Only a 5 minute walk to downtown.
4.6
Beautiful sunrises, easy walk to everything, kayaking right off their dock.

My husband and I traveled from the midwest-meeting my brother and his wife who traveled from Oregon and had the vacation of a lifetime-we rented the side by side units and it could not have worked out better! Of course the location was primo, the best. We enjoyed sitting down by the water for morning coffees and evening beverages, watching the harbor and the ferries come in and out. We never shut the curtains while we were there-the view is beautiful and at night the few lights on the water were like magic-and we could see the stars..and in the morning-the sunrise! There is everything you need in the kitchenette, tho' we didn't cook (too many great restaurants to choose from). Easy stroll into town-so close to the action. My brother brought kayaks and we rented a tandem and we could launch right from the dock. Host Ed is a delight-so interesting to talk to and full of great stories. Daughter Jennifer was just amazing with getting us settled and was on the spot with any questions (she even got us in a little early for check-in-so thoughtful after a day of travel). We loved this unique spot!

View was breathtaking! Walking distance from the main town.
Thin walls. No warning that noises will be heard by other tenants.

The views of the harbor!!!! I actually slept with the curtains open so that I wouldn't miss a moment of the beautiful harbor views. The studio apartment was spotless and well equipped. A short, easy walk to downtown Friday Harbor. The perfect place to stay if you don't have a car.
I wish I'd had liquid soap in the shower. That's the only thing missing. Everything else was perfect.

Close to ferry, restaurants and shops. Gorgeous views of the harbot.
Need better curtains, as the windows face east. One window had no curtain.

views from the room, great location, large room with full kitchen. outdoor sitting/eating by the water

Location and view
Room was dirty. Lots of spider webs and a giant spider which we caught and release out in the garden.

The best thing about this property is the view, and the second best thing is that you can easily walk to the grocery, other shops, and restaurants. In general, this small studio had about everything we needed, and the description of the property is very detailed on the owner's website. The owner communicates well and quickly answers texts. I recommend you text to ask how to get into your unit. It wasn't clear to me...but maybe that's just me.
We expected the steep stairs. We are fit and had no problem carrying our luggage, etc., down and up, but we could not get my sea kayak down to the kayak dock, mainly because of a sharp corner near the top. Other than that, the only negative was the very loud refrigerator which would not bother everyone but did bother me at night.

Gorgeous view. Lots of windows
Steep stairs to get to the property

View and location were terrific. Well outfitted.

Omg! The location and view are amazing!
Loved it all but would have liked a warmer comforter on the bed.

The location is superb. The view is stunning. The host (Ed) was very friendly. Within 0.2 miles of city center, easy walk once you get up to the road. The wi-fi was reliable.
No prior hint that the facility is not ADA compliant. While the jacuzzi tub is nice it is too deep to exit from it without some grab bars. The steps down to the facility from road level (27 - I counted) were steep and irregular with a flat 2X6 board as a railing. It is the first time I truly understood what "luggage" means. Although the room was cleaned before we arrived - and I can appreciate that they were short-staffed - there was dirt on the floor and a pair of dirty socks in the oven. The TV was impossible to decipher (I am admittedly an old guy) so instructions would have been useful. Of course, to be fair, I had little time to watch TV because of the opportunity to be outside enjoying the weather and views.

The view!

Location was two blocks from ferry and the “ downtown” of Friday Harbor
The place was worn out and very uncomfortable. Extremely loud, we could hear full conversations of those in the neighboring unit and those below us. The bathroom next door backs up to the shared wall and was very loud anytime they showered or flushed the toilet. Especially bothersome in the middle of the night or 6AM ! I’m a heavy sleeper and it would wake me up! The queen size bed had a misfit piece of foam as a topper. No dresser or other options to store clothing for your stay. 2 foot closet rod with no hangers in the bathroom corner. (We fortunately brought a couple) Awkward bathroom layout. Sheets were worn with holes, no blankets. Mismatched draperies, dirty windows, funky lighting from odd light fixtures with mismatched and burned out bulbs. Cabinetry falling off the wall in the “ kitchen area” of the room, odd bathroom mirror mounted too high for anyone under 5 feet 3 to use it. The heater didn’t work on a night that dropped in the 50’s. Not a place to relax in at all. We travel a lot and this place was significantly lacking and not worth what we spent, we left a day early and forfeited to money spent on the unused night.

Loved it all-extremely clean & bright room, gorgeous views, comfy bed,
well equipped kitchen. It had everything we could ever ask for. Beautiful yard area too. As a bonus, we got to watch the harbor seal swim right outside our window.
We loved everything!

The keys were at the unit since we were checking in late and we were met at the unit. Nice that they took that degree of attention.
Kitchen lighting was a bit dim and not up to task lighting. In the big picture of things that is pretty minor. Stairs getting down to the unit took some getting use to and in the dark it would be??
