Nico is a charming and helpful host. The house is as promised- old but full of history and artwork. Excellent coffee shop next door and lots of restaurants within a few blocks in Wooster Square. Easy 10 minute walk to Yale's main campus. Highly recommend!

If you like historical places it’s ok and also the location is very good. The owner was very kind.
It wasn’t very clean, even knowing that it’s a historic house, the bathroom was too old and in a very bad shape.

Loved the tour of the house. Loved the location. We were able to walk to the Yale campus for a great tour and visiting their art museum. Good restaurants close by.
Would have loved quality coffee in the room.

Nico was very nice and friendly. Location very good.
Room was very old. Too much stuff inside. Wool blanket is for me not very hygienic. Room beside the Street. Very loud.

Nico is a warm and welcoming host and tells you the story of the house at arrival. The Inn is charming, little spooky and the decor takes you back in time. Rooms was very comfy, large bed, AC and kettle/microwave. Old school but that’s exactly what I envisioned when booking a historic mansion stay.
Late check in (6pm). Unable to check in earlier, I went sightseeing and came back at 7pm. I left at 7am so I basically paid a full price for a 12h stay. I was able to leave my luggage which was helpful but a standar check in at 2pm would be better.

The location was good. Good hot water.
The walls are very dirty, the toilet water did not flush. The whole building is not taken care of. There is no real coffee and breakfast is not included.
We did not have towels in hte bathroom, we had to ask the owner to bring them to us.

The owner was extremely accommodating and friendly.
The whole place needed to be cleaned. The entrance was dirty and crumbling and needed paint. The room was dirty, carpet was disgraceful and the doors were blacks near the knobs.

This is an quirky inn with a shaby charm ambiance. The proprietor is clearly proud of his historic home and happy to show you around and guide you to neighborhood places. I felt like I was visiting a long lost aunt who was happy to share her quirky home, but not make a fuss about the visit.
Bathroom was old and needed some paint, but the hot water was good.

Our host was really lovely person, and overall we had a nice stay, but the room was a bit dusty, outdated and uncomfortable. House is beautiful, and the neighbourhood was nice.
There was no breakfast included, and even though there was a kettle in the room, the coffee was old everything was a bit dusty and not very clean.

Good location with lovely furnishings. It is like a historic museum with great artistic taste. About 15 minutes by foot from the center. The room and bath were well-maintained. I especially liked the air circulation and good heating.
There is some street noise and hallway chatter. This is near Yale, so there are students around and about.

It worked well for us, being within walking distance of the Yale campus, and was far more cost-efficient than other options. The history that I learned about the house from the owner was really interesting and something I repeated throughout the weekend.
It worked very well, for what we needed, and they even provided us with a safe parking option, for no extra charge.

Great location. Clean bathroom.
Very dirty carpets and drapes. Old furnishings. Not enough pillows. Strange decor. The price is no where equal to the product.
