Everything about my stay at this adorable B&B was fantastic. The owners were so accommodating, they even woke up extra early to put out the continental breakfast as we were in for a race.
If you're traveling to the Lynchburg Appomattox area, definitely check it out. Unicorn California and I'm the adventure behind

The Magnolia Room was extremely welcoming and comfortable. Having a nice sofa in the room made it easy to curl up w a good book or watch TV without sitting on the bed. The host was friendly, accommodating, and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Access to the entire first floor made us feel right at home and relaxed. Can definitely recommend Longacre to others.
I knew when we booked that we would have a continental breakfast, which was good, but I always hope for a full course cooked breakfast when I stay in a B&B. The only other issue was a cold bathroom.

location for downtown was excellent- a nice walk. Plenty of space in the Manor Room, just be careful with the two steps down into the bathroom! Dana was a great hostess - very friendly and helpful.

Super cool place tucked away in a quiet location ( BUT near the train tracks, so if you are NOT a train buff like ME, you might want to check into a room on the far side of the house!) Dana was very pleasant and checked in on me every morning. Check in was super simple, parking right out front. Room smelled heavenly and was cozy and comfy. Bed slept like a dream. Windows did not open but the ceiling fan was brilliant. Bathroom was lilterally next door, not down the hall as I expected. WINWIN! Wifi was a little weak at first but then I took it downstairs, it got beefed up, then after that it was strong in my room as well. I LOVED the Mint room. Perfectly formed chairs for curling up in and reading. The grounds are very interesting, filled with herbs, flowers, vines, and chimes of all sorts. Absolutelyl stunning inside. Breakfast room was delightful, with plenty of coffee and lots of continental options. Brilliant. Super close to Appomattox, grocery, gas, food, etc. Wish I had had more days. Thanks much! LKW
What didn't I like? leaving after 2 days... Ha.

The home is roomy, inviting and open. We were fascinated by the decor and complete attention to everything necessary for a wonderful stay!
The only negative was that our schedule didn't allow us to stay longer! 😁

It's a good deal for the price paid. The managers were attentive when we talked with them. Unfortunately, I did not stay long enough to for a proper review.
Older establishment means a lack of electrical outlets or usb ports. The wireless login did not appear to work per the directions provided. My shower had a low ceiling.

So quiet. Big and very comfortable room. Tenants made it so easy to check in and we were on our own to tour the premises. Common areas well kept. Antiques and decor well done. Breakfast so good. Homemade. Check out just as easy. Loved it. We will be back. Thank you Katie, Nathan and Isaiah.
No direct TV. We did have music. Wasn't a problem.

Breakfast was delicious.
Our bathroom was not in our room and there was no shampoo.

I loved the homemade yogurt, quiche, and cinnamon drop biscuit for breakfast. The bed was super comfortable.
I would of liked a way to charge my phone which I know is a challenge in a home built in the 1930s.
