Perfect for our large team. The game room and fire pit were great to keep the juniors occupied.

This was our second time at The Last Resort but certainly not our last! The house is beautiful and fits our large family of all ages perfectly. Teens able to hide away in the basement playing games and not waking up the babies upstairs. The window is beautiful to look at the mountain. Fireplace is great for s’mores. Yard is big enough for a wiffleball game and the location is perfect for all the swimming holes and activities in the area. The book of info at the house was so helpful in letting us find a bunch of great new spots. Donna was very responsive and helpful in all our questions. Our only complaint would be the lack of AC. In our years coming to VT in the summer it’s usually cool and not needed but this year was HOT especially upstairs. We still look forward to coming back here!!

Great property close to the mountain & spacious enough for 12 grown adults comfortably. Recommend staying here.

We've been coming up to Sugarbush for the last 3 years and everyone agreed The Last Resort has been the best place we've stayed: pluses include a fantastic view of the mountain, super cute interior with fireplace and plenty of warm beds, boot-drying rack(!), and a stocked kitchen. Hoping to come back again next year!

Beautiful Ski Home with lots of old wood and natural light. Minutes from Lincoln peak. Great house for entertaining. Clearly a family owned home with lots of history and good times. The house has great bones, but for the price needs some upgrades. The property was essentially a mud pit and can use updated parking or additional gravel. The house was musty with lots of rugs and the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. Advertised as with a Sauna, however it was padlocked shut and the property manager said “It was broken.” All in all an ok place with lots of potential. Xmas week in VT is always a gamble for snow and unfortunately, this time was a miss (1/3 trails at Sugarbush were open and there was minimal snow).

Had a great long weekend stay in your home. The house was great - large enough for all of us - great room is wonderful with beautiful view of fall foliage - large bedrooms - separate livingroom downstairs for kids - no foosball table though. We cooked breakfast and dinner everyday - kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need - communication with owner was terrific with prompt responses - 25-30 minutes to the University - but so close to sugarbush resort and golf courses - highly recommend.

We booked this house for my family of 12. We loved it! View is beautiful! House very clean and comfortable! Plenty of beds. Can’t wait to go back for another trip. Location was wonderful for hiking, waterfalls, and quaint villages.

This house was perfect for our large family. The location is right near so many fun summer spots to swim, which was our favorite. The setup was ideal to allow babies sleeping while teens watched movies and adults played cards on the massive table in the great room. We got to see an incredible lightning storm from the panoramic view window. We grilled on the large deck, cooked in the stocked kitchen, played wiffleball on the front lawn, and made so many memories in this beautiful home. The owners were very friendly and attentive when we called. This house is a gem!! Hope to come back again next year!!

Overall the whole crew of 10 loved the house. Great bedrooms with comfy beds. Excellent communication with the owner. The house has a relaxed and comfy feel to it. We all felt right at home. It had everything we needed. Awesome views of Sugarbush and about a 5 minute ride to the mountain. Couldn't have asked for a better spot. The only negative, is the sauna was not in working order. This was kind of a bummer because when we booked (which was last August or September I believe) it was listed as an amenity. And it did play a part in choosing the house and wanting it for after a shredding day at the mountain. But in the grand scheme of things it wasn't a major issue. Though it would have been nice to know beforehand it wasn't operational to avoid disappointment on arrival. Again overall, we all felt like we found the perfect place for us. We had an amazing stay. Thanks again to you Donna!

This is a beautiful and rustic property about a mile from the main Lincoln peak area of Sugarbush. It is very well designed with spacious common area but plenty of bedrooms to accommodate our group of 14. We loved the wood fireplace!

We really enjoyed our stay. Great home. Enough space for 12 + of us to play games around the fire. The best part was everyone sitting comfortably at the table for Thanksgiving dinner. Beautiful views and comfy beds.

Couldn't ask for a better house for the 12 of us. It was very well stocked. The table extender was perfect. The views were breathtaking.

This is a rustic, very comfortable house. Large enough to keep all happy. It’s view of the mountain is key, but everything was as expected, and quite suitable.

Fabulous vacation house. Close to many attractions and restaurants . Well represented in the VBRO listing. Great winter or off season rental. All rooms with a view. Enjoyed the property. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend this home.

It was a comfortable and fun environment. There were plenty of toys and games to play with. The location is beautiful. The older toilets could be updated, but they were functioning. We would go back in the blink of the eye.

We enjoyed a summer vacation together. Owner (Donna) easy to communicate with and easy to deal with. Nice feeling of privacy, great view, enough room for a large three generation family. What's not to like?

We had a wonderful stay and could not be more pleased. This property was perfect for our extremely large group, especially because our sons grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Our family had a wonderful time during our stay. The home was as described, clean, and ready for us to relax and unwind during an exciting and stressful weekend. The location is beautiful even the children commented on how pretty the view was. There was plenty of room for us to spread out when needed but also plenty of open space for us all to gather together and celebrate our graduate! The owners were wonderful and very quick with communications and any questions we had. Not only would we recommend this to others, if we found ourselves back in Vermont we would love to stay again!

We had the best stay at The Last Resort! It was a great layout for 3 families. We especially liked all the seating options in the main living area where everyone could spend time together. Storage and organization for all of the ski gear was well planned and the location is very convenient. Michael was a terrific host and proactive about checking in to make sure we had all we needed. We definitely plan to return!

We enjoyed the location and set up of this house so much. View is amazing and plenty of space for hanging out. Has everything you need! Lincoln Peak at Sugarbush right up the street.

We were a group of 15 law school post-graduate students looking forward to enjoy thanksgiving outside of the loud Manhattan and this place was great. We had an amazing time. Michael was supper friendly and helpful with the instructions and requests. The house was magical. Waking up to the view of the mountain and the snow was amazing. Except for the two bedrooms in the basement, all others have amazing view. We would have our meals at the dinner table or enjoy a nice cozy moment just hanging in front of the fireplace, while looking at the full window wall - the light and the view were gorgeous. For those who like to ski, the house is made for that, and has a perfect location as well right at the bottom of a station - walking distance. The small city is also super charming. In sum, we were super satisfied with our choice and certainly hope we will go back there!

Plenty of space, consistent internet, very close to Sugarbush. Bit musty in the basement, bit moldy in the showers, but otherwise clean enough.

We visited this location for a Labor Day weekend getaway. The house is set back from the side road with a welcoming front yard. The backyard overlooks the mountains. The house is spacious and cozy. The living area has huge windows that look out to the backyard and the mountains. The hosts were very responsive to a few of our needs and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay and would come back soon. Would be a great house to stay at to ski at Sugarbush.

The view was amazing, the location was amazing. There are 6 bedrooms and a larger greenroom with several different areas -- dining, living, and an excellent back porch, all with a view of the Mountains. This was a great place for a vacation for a family and friends, lots of excellent outdoor opportunities in the immediate vicinity --hiking, mt biking, swimming holes everywhere, and great food. Highly recommended.
