The grassy areas and playground were very nice for our toddler..
You had to drive to the beach! Then load all your things a long way down to the sandy area. Not possible to get through the muddy river bed …

Room was very small for the price

Location was beautiful, very nice views. Access to beach a little tricky. No breakfast but coffee service and packaged snack bar were nice, much better than room coffee. Beautiful walk-in shower and new bathroom
The toilet paper holder came apart and dropped toilet paper on the floor a number of times. Annoying for price of the room. The room was pretty small, but bathroom was spacious.

Serene, spacious, beautiful grounds, door through wooden fence directly to famous Lobster Pound restaurant.

The Dunes is a unique property. Unlike many motels, where guests are all close together, The Dunes has plenty of space to have guests spread around the property. The setting is very serene and relaxed.
The room was a bit small and I think the cost of the room was a bit high given the space we had. There are also one and two bedroom cottages which looked lovely.

Location beautiful.
It was more difficult than pictures showed to get to the beach. We waited till 1030 when office said we could cross by noon we went elsewhere. Bed very uncomfortable. Very expensive for not having breakfast, beach access and an uncomfortable bed.
9.6 / 10.0
Charming facilities, beautiful grounds, quiet location. Well provided with everything you need in cottages.
Beach almost not accessible from property. No place for breakfast unless you walk a distance to restaurant. No bathroom at pool area. Prices a bit high.
9.6 / 10.0
This is a perfect location, with walkable access to the entire town, yet as secluded and private as anyone could ask for. Dining options for every imaginable occasion/situation are just moments away!
We'll be returning as soon as we possibly can.
