The Vacasa team was communicative, in spite of giving incorrect instructions to actually lock the front door. The two days we were at the property the door was NEVER SECURED.
I booked through Booking.com and was turned over to one of your providers called "Vacasa", whom I've NEVER heard back from. We've planned this two-week vacation for three years hoping for a dream stay in Whitefish, MT. I can't say it spoiled our vacation, but it sure tarnished it.
At the last minute, Vacasa added $365.07 in FEES over and above the $221.34 in rental and $64.12 in taxes. Would it be possible to PLEASE hear back from anyone regarding this horrible stay at Bay Point Hillside in Whitefish, Montana??? I've tried to email and received a "no-sender" response. High priced Vacasa property horrible condition-will NOT RECOMMEND The Vacasa team was communicative, in spite of giving incorrect instructions to actually lock the front door. The two days we were at the property the door was NEVER SECURED.
Disliked · Was NOT waterfront as advertised. Heavy, heavy urine smell. Condition of unit was horrible. Broken screen on front door with broken lock. Fireplace has an "out of order" sign. Rusted fridge freezer. Coffee Mate was permanently stained, old. Stains on bedspread. Every "cheap" curtain was torn and dirty. Floor was swept but so dirty that after a shower the bottom of our feet were black. I took photos and sent to Vacasa. There was NO HOUSEKEEPING and yet we paid an exorbitant cleaning fee. We'd like a refund.
Will NOT RECOMMEND.

I enjoyed the little place we stayed. It was the perfect place to come back to after a busy day of exploring.
The lamps in the living room could have been a bit brighter. It was a a lot harder to read my book in the living because the lamps weren't that great.

The location, and literally nothing else. It has an awful odor, the ceiling/upstairs floors make so much noise that it’s impossible to sleep, there were no lights in the bedroom- just a note from the cleaning staff apologizing for them being broken. The shower is made for a small child- no one over 5’3” could shower in it without doing a back bend. The kitchen had 3 forks and a couple of plastic plates. It’s really embarrassing and very clear that the property managers/owners do not care. Three bent metal wire hangers are all that were left in the closet, and an iron from the 1950’s (no ironing board) that no one in their right mind would plug in to the wall. This place is a disaster. The cherry on the cake? I left behind a water bottle and asked them if the cleaning staff found it. They responded telling me that they charge $25 to check, and then $15 fee to have it sent, in addition to the postage cost. Unbelievable.

Location close to town
The room had a smelled, the floors of the upstairs apartment squeaked, old dirty furniture. there was no view of the lagoon as it is published the trees in front the window don't allow it.

Great location, comfortable but not luxurious, but had everything we needed. Was close to downtown amenities and the beach.
Were very disappointed that the pool was closed when we arrived. There was no notice of that possibility when we checked online.

I liked having a separate bedroom. It was nice to have a full kitchen, as well. The location was perfect for our trip to visit Glacier National Park.
Parking was a little challenging. Also, we could hear the upstairs neighbors moving around. The cost reflected the location so was a bit high.

The location is perfect. Nice condo that overlooks the lake.
The hot tub, pool and sauna were closed. Never hear back from the property manager after I called her about it. Property is dated so you can hear every step above you.

The price we were quoted ended up being less than half of what the actual price was after taxes and fees.
The pictures make it look better than it is...great shower if you like kneeling to rinse your hair!
