Nothing
Shower was blocked and leaked all over the floor and into bedroom. Also mould on bedroom wall

The price, value, the location, design of the rooms, everything near the hotel made for an easy stay.
Room was dirty, mattresses and linen had stains. The bathroom smelled like urine very strongly the entire time from the minute we walked into the room to the time we checked out even after the staff "cleaned" our room. Also there was always a large group of people standing in front of the entrance to the hotel blocking the way and all smoking with the hotel door open. Staff did nothing to remove them and anyone point was out there smoking with them.

Ibis Budget hotels are inexpensive and offer pretty pared down facilities. With that in mind, the showers had copious hot water, the rooms were clean and the breakfast nicely presented with fresh bread. The staff were exceptional.
The weather.

the people were amazing. I received very bad news at breakfast and was alone crying and the lady running breakfast did an amazing job consoling me.

Simple place easy to find close to the port with easy access to the road network
Very Very small room.

Breakfast very good for the money. Clean room, friendly staff - especially as I checked in at 11:30pm. Good wifi. Hot shower. Environmentally - like the use of non-plastic cups in rooms, fewer towels and less waste at breakfast.
A bit hard to find - perhaps better signage from the peripherique. Shower trays are very slippy when wet so take care.

Close to the port
No hot water at 6am. Bedroom door wouldn’t lock inside.

Price is excellent - triple room worked well. Easy check in. Comfy bed.
Shower was a bit old fashioned. Room warm in summer and had windows open so woken whenever anyone went by shouting but I’m busy area so perhaps expected

The staff on reception we're polite and helpful and spoke English.
The rooms were comfortable.
There weren't enough plates, cups or cutlery available at breakfast.

The breakfast was convenient and of good quality for the price
There was some traffic noise but we slept quite well

Excellent, straightforward 'budget' breakfast, a very good start to the day. I really liked the fact that someone was on duty at reception day and night. The nearby Mondeville shopping mall is exceptional!
Traffic noise with the window open was excessive. However, the double glazing closes out the sound completely if you can bear to sleep with your windows closed (which, I know, some people can't).

Bed was a bit too firm.

A bit of a drab location but it is not far off the main roads. Quiet. Fast food options within a short walk or a minutes drive. The breakfast was fine.
The rooms are very basic but clean.
