The house was not ready for our arrival despite the fact we had been in communication with management that morning. No one was present (nor was there written information) to explain matters (i.e how appliances worked, services, where to purchase water, etc). The furniture in the lounge was in disarray; the house lacked the “colonial charm” as described. It would take very little effort to make this property inviting and comfortable. It certainly isn’t worth the cost at present. It seems the management company is only interested in financial gain and not hospitality. We were very surprised when a security guard appeared at 7 pm for the night as we had not informed. On a positive note, the house help was delightful.
