I LOVED my 3 night stay at Old Town Hostel on Dubrovnik. I was so happy finding a reasonably priced place within the walls of the old city. Michael, the owner is very kind and very personable. I really enjoyed chatting with him as well as the other international guests.
The hostel is spacious, clean and well run. I think it's the best deal going in the old town! Being able to use the fridge and cook my own food was perfect in such a touristy, overpriced place. A real bonus is that tea, coffee and breakfast cereal are available free of charge.
Nothing I didnt like, everything was great!

I loved how cosy the hostel was. The room I was in was spacious too and you were able to open some windows for some fresh air. The whole place was cleaned daily which was awesome. Loved the location as it was super easy to get to from your day out. Staff was super friendly and the other guests were very friendly too. Would definitely stay again!
There was some noise when trying to fall asleep and only one bathroom per floor was too little for all the guests there.

One of the best hostels I've been in, everything was great but they add these little touches that separate the new hostel business model from the traditional homey hostel. They organize events to socialize, there's free cereal and milk the whole day, they have a closet for free clothes, they give you a towel, and the staff is super friendly (the authentic kind of friendly), I met lots of solo travellers, I absolutely loved this place.
I just wish hostels were a bit cheaper but the price of this one is definitely worth it, specially given that it is in the old town of Dubrovnik.

Posizione centrale per visitare Dubrovnik vecchia.
Personale molto gentile.

Location, staff, facilities, and cleanliness are very good.
There's no bidet.

The location of the hostel was ideal! Super close to the old town. The bed was comfortable and although quite squeaky, it was fine. Wifi was good and the room very pleasant.
The showers were quite dirty and small with no ventilation. The towels supplied were very small and not very absorbent. The price was quite high but given the location I was happy to pay.

Good location, friendly and helpful staff
No A/C in the rooms is one thing, but half the fans in the room did not even work properly. When you pay 50€ (!) for a bunk bed in a basic room AND you can’t even sleep due to to lack of properly working equipment. Sorry. Major ripoff. Left immediately despite booking two nights, and had to cancel an expensive day trip because I simply didn’t sleep.

Location
Would have liked it if there was a paid option for breakfast. Eg. 7 euros for croissant juice milk cheese and meat.

Great location and the staff were lovely and helpful
Extremely hot in rooms, fans were provided though.

Location in the old town and balcony off the room
Very small room at top of hostel with little furnishing. Loud from the crowds but to be expected. The price however was way way beyond what the room was worth albeit peak season. Better value elsewhere. No air conditioning and shared bathroom.

The location was perfect, inside the old town, easy walk everywhere in the old town, supermarket and about 7min walk from a beach. The beds were quite comfortable and fans were provided for each bed and power sockets were near the beds.
They should invest in airco because in July it was crazy hot even with the fans inside. Also the bathroom was dirty all the time (even after it should have been cleaned) and the toilet cover was broken and kept falling down and cutting my back. The noises from outside started at 5am and I couldn't sleep anymore. I think the garbage was emptied which made a lot of noise. The ladder to climb up the upper bed was extremely uncomfortable. Still okay plscr due to location for 1 night stay although very expensive for a mid range quality hostel.

The room was good (single room) and it was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location in old town
The shower was cold, the 3 flights of stairs

good location, within old town of Dubrovnik.
spacious dorm room with a sink inside the room - brush your teeth/do your make up without having to go to the bathroom.
nice and clean.
could do with more bathrooms - go have your shower out of peak times.

The location was absolutely awesome! Right in the old town just off the main street. All the staff were also welcoming and friendly. Everything was clean, and it was nice having only 5 people in the dorm.

Great location
Staff did not seem knowledgeable about area and unwilling to help. They had a sangria night, but was not advertised well and most people did not know about it. the fridge seemed to be full of stuff from one patron, who may have been staff.

It was nice that there was a little sink in the room to avoid having to use the shared bathroom just to wash hands or brush teeth, and it was convenient that the metal bed frame had several rungs on it that you could hang towels and air out clothing from.
I got a private single room instead of sharing a bunk and it was the tiniest room I have ever seen! I think the ceilings were taller than the room was long and the twin bed was pretty thin and bouncy. The towel was the scratchiest, tiniest bath mat like thing I have ever been given to use on my body! I mean the room was super tight, really felt more like a cell than a bedroom due to all of the hard surfaces and being totally white. It was also tight getting in and out of the narrow door which bumped up against the bathroom door unless people kept it closed all the time so just maneuvering in and out took a bit of effort. For $60 I definitely don't think the value was there even though Dubrovnik is more expensive than other places in Croatia because you can get an entire apartment for that much in many other towns...

Excellent location and free towel service.
It was a bit loud outside the hostel at night. I realize it's not the hostels fault, but the nearby bars and restaurants are noisy.

Good location and as a hostel you'll meet many friendly people who you may uncannily encounter around Dubrovnik (it's small), Split or Mostar.
The bath towels are more like hand towels, so bring your own as well as shampoo.
