This was a great house for us. Large, comfortable, nice pool, great location, near the big hotel beaches (very walkable). Other beaches like Arashi, are literally minutes drive away and fantastic.
Everything was close and a quick drive - really everything on the island doesn't feel like more than a 25 minute drive away. Stores for groceries are close, restauraunts are plentiful. Overall a wonderful rental if you want to be in Noord (away from Oranjestad).

We had to book a home last minute as the timeshare my friend was supposed to get for us fell though and this was the only house that was available and in our price range. The house itself was in a decent location within walking distance to the beach (although we rented a car and I suggest you do as well) The house was clean and the air conditioning worked great as did all of the other appliances (besides the dryer but we hung the cloths on a line so that was no big deal) Let me first tell you what I loved about this home and then I will share with what I disliked. I loved the location, cleanliness, Josse the property manager, great coffee pot, relaxing back pool area, plenty of beach toys and chairs. My biggest complaint is not even with this house but the house next door. There are 3 pit bulls or vicious dogs next door that bark ALL NIGHT. The first night we were actually scared that maybe we were in a bad part of town and that is why the neighbors had these dogs, but after staying up all night researching the safety of Aruba we felt comfortable but the dogs never stopped barking. All and all if you are looking to visit beautiful ARUBA this is a good option and both the owner and property manager were helpful and did all they could to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The pool is small but that's how its advertised so we were not disappointed as some others before were. I would stay here again if the dogs next door were gone but to spend over 10k on tickets and lodging for all of us to not sleep was very disappointing. Makes it hard to leave a bad review as I don't think this is the owners fault but you need to be aware of this and bring ear plugs or dog treats with sleeping medicine in them :)

A nice home located in a pleasant neighborhood located a short walk to hotels and beaches. A short drive to the fine restaurants that Aruba has to offer. The home was comfortable for our family of 4 adults and 2 young grandchildren.

We loved staying in this spacious 3 bedroom home. The pool was the perfect size for cooling off after a day at the beach, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare breakfast and lunch. We were close to the high rises and their beaches, Eagle and Arashi beaches, and shopping and restaurants for night time. The property manager, Jossy, was very hospitable and helped familiarize us with the area.

My wife and I along with three adult children (2 sons and 1 daughter) stayed at this villa in Aruba. It was very clean and comfortable and it had most of the amenities required to manage home meals. We ate out most nights but the meals we had in were very nice. We sat outside in the atrium and grilled steaks and chicken from the local store located two blocks away. The kids each had a bedroom and felt comfortable, as did we. A second set of clean sheets were provided and needed as the beach sand always seemed to creep in, even after showers. Plenty of towels also available. The location is about 1/2 mile from the beach and high rise hotel shopping district was even a bit further but we enjoyed the walk. If you are not as mobile be sure to rent a car or have a driver. It is a little shorter to the bus stop but very easy to take the bus downtown Orajenstad and to other beaches, etc. We did this a few times.
The pool was a bit smaller then appeared to me in pictures but still very clean and refreshing to cool down from the hot sun. We spent a few afternoons just sitting poolside with a Bright (beer), catching rays, and swimming to cool down. The deck chairs were in great shape and there were pool floaties, beach equipment etc, all available for use. It had a nice rolling cooler and the beaches are all public so we loaded it up and wheeled beer to the beach. Much cheaper when you have 3 adult college kids :) The pool was cleaned one day and out of commission for 3 hours while we were there but we had other plans that day so no big deal.
The Island is very beautiful with nice clean beaches and this villa is in a great location to enjoy it. The people were all friendly and the house manager (Josse) was very accommodating. Josse stopped by the next day to get us the grill and was very helpful. He drove me to the store to show me where it was and also assisted in getting us transportation to the airport. He is very respectful of your space but don't be afraid to ask him questions because he will graciously help you and is very knowledgeable about the island.
The road this villi is on (Bakval) is a thoroughfare between two main roads the go up and down the island. There was a lot of traffic that uses Bakval to go between so I was surprised by the amount of traffic (It was Christmas/New Years so probably more then usual). Most of the walk is sidewalks but drivers don't slow down in Aruba so be careful walking in/near the streets.

Great location! The house was just a short walk away from the hotel beach area, where there are more restaurants and activities. We rented a car to use for getting to other more quiet beaches and seeing the "real" Aruba. It had all we needed for cooking and doing our laundry. Josy was a great property manager. Always felt safe. Had a great stay!

What can I say that will differentiate my review that everyone on here has already said. The house is beautiful inside and out. Everything is clean and every possible amenity you can think you would need to stay here for a week or even longer; for cooking, relaxing, etc! The owner, Juliya is a pleasure to talk to. I had many questions and Juliya promptly answered all of them. We spent a lot of time in the pool and beside it. If you don't want to cook, there are plenty of restaurants close by. And Aruban restaurants are amazing. I honestly can't say enough about this place!
Highly recommend!

My family and I (four adults and two children) stayed at the Villa the week following Christmas, December 26 through January 2, 2013. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The house was extremely clean and was equipped to deal with every need. The kitchen was complete with everything to allow you to cook, if you wished, there were plenty of towels, sheets and everything that also allowed for a day at the beach, including beach chairs, etc. The children loved the pool and it allowed us to freshen off after a wonderful day at the beach. The house was very big and even with six of us, had plenty of room. This would be great for two families. We especially loved the outside bathroom too. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and made sure that everything went smoothly with our trip. We even received a call from the owner upon our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed.
As for Aruba, this was our first visit and we cannot wait to return. The island was beautiful, the beaches wonderful, food amazing and everyone was so friendly. We hired a car for the week and it allowed us to explore the island on our schedule. We felt very safe at all times. We recommend you visit Baby Beach for some great snorkeling and the National Park was amazing, even though a very bumpy ride! Everything is in very close proximity, however, I recommend you hire a car for a quick 5-minute ride to the beach, restaurants, etc. Our favorite beach was Eagle Beach but we also spent a couple of days at Moomba beach and enjoyed the close proximity of the restaurants. There are so many restaurants to choose from and the food is wonderful, although sometimes a little expensive. Aruba has so much to offer a family and we cannot wait to return to both the apartment and Aruba!

As a seasoned vacation house rental family, this property met and exceeded our expectations. It is in a central location on the island and within walking distance to the Marriott. The home has a great layout and very spacious. It was a nice surprise to find a kitchen that actually had everything. According to my 13 year old nephews who visited us, the house is very Zen. A hummingbird, an iguana and a whiptail lizard all made a quick backyard appearance during our stay at this property. The island is safe and the people are friendly. La Ponderosa Ranch gave us a wonderful horseback riding experience-even saw an owl on our journey! Also fun was a catamaran trip to 3 snorkel spots including the Antilles wreck. Exploring the island with a Jeep rental is a must for the adventurous traveler. The Caves in the National Park were interesting to explore (with a few bats flying around) as was driving the north shore for its amazing views. If you manage the trek to the natural pool on your own, make sure you check high/low tide. Tons of wild goats hang out by the windmills and we even fed apples to wild donkeys. The Butterfly Farm was a unique experience. There are so many wonderful photo ops for the aspiring photographer. Flying Fishbones was a great restaurant with tables on the beach with a nice view. Madame Janettes was another treat for dinner. The California lighthouse restaurant has a wonderful inland view for watching a sunset while enjoying dinner on the terrace. Pinchos Bar & Grill was another great meal (floating dock) on the water. For a small island, there was plenty to do even for a 10 day vacation. The owners were a pleasure to work with and even set up credit card processing for convenience. It doesn't get better than that! The island lives up to its motto: ONE HAPPY ISLAND!

We stayed at this beautiful Aruba home for six weeks starting in early Feb 2012. This was our third stay at this lovely home. The owners have made some really nice changes / improvements since our last stay. The privacy wall in the back yard totally encloses the pool area for complete privacy. They have upgraded the bathroom by the pool with new tile and fixtures making this a great place to shower after the pool or beach. They have also upgraded the laundry room. There is a wonderful new covered patio in the front of the house which is a great place to hang out and enjoy the great Aruban environment. We had coffee out here almost every morning.
We took a walk almost every day from the house down to the beach ( Palm Beach near the north side of the Marriott ) to pick up the free local papers and stroll along the beach watching the wind surfers, kite surfers and activities all along this wonderful stretch of beach. It is so great to have this beach close by but also the privacy of a wonderful fully equipped home for solitude and quiet enjoyment.
There is a private driveway with a powered gate so you can secure your rental car with no worries. There is a nice fish pond in the front of the house and we enjoyed feeding the fish each morning.
The plants and gardens around this lovely home are beautiful and very appealing to the eye and senses. The pool is absolutely gorgeous and we used it several times each day.
It is great to be able to "spread out" in this large home that has everything you could ever need to enjoy your stay in " Paradise ". We cannot wait to return !
" Pasa un Bon Dia ! " (Have a wonderful day !)

This is a great house in a great location. The property was just as advertised. Everything was clean and well maintained. The property manager was waiting on us when we arrived and was very helpful. The outside closet had plenty of chairs and some snorkel gear for the beach. The location is very convenient to Hotel district and beaches. If this house is available for my next trip down I will stay here.
