A lovely house, with an amazing view. A great place to stay, with lots to do near by. The house is great for families or a larger group. We enjoyed using the tennis court and having s’mores by the fire pit. Everything was really well organised, and we really appreciated all the little details. We’ll definitely be back.

We had a fantastic weekend getaway with a group of old friends.
The property is in beautiful surroundings and the house itself is spacious and well appointed and instantly feels like a home away from home.
The hosts communications before the visit were first class. Thanks!
We hope to return again, next time with the kids!

This house was perfect for our group of five to enjoy a weekend away in the Blue Mountains. It was spacious and comfortable with two indoor fireplaces and a well equipped kitchen, as well as a large amount of outdoor space/grass. The backyard had a treehouse, a swing, outdoor lounge chairs, a small courtyard, and an outdoor firepit, as well as tennis racquets!
Katie and Ken happily answered any questions we had in the lead up, and also kindly built the fires in the fireplaces for us to light upon our arrival.
I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a large house to enjoy with some friends or family in Blackheath! Note that to reach upstairs is a small and twisted staircase, which may be difficult for some less mobile folk to navigate. As a property out in the bush, don't be surprised if you make some new six or eight legged friends as well!

Cosy Homely Getaway
We very much enjoyed our stay at Little Pightle. The grounds are beautiful and the view over the valley is stunning. We loved enjoying coffee in the winter sun, the short stroll to the lookout and enjoyed the kangaroos and wildlife that visited everyday.
The kitchen was well equipped, there are plenty of heaters and electric blankets and the 2 fireplaces are beautiful.
Good communication from Katie and Ken and they were friendly and responsive.

A house with real character
Perfect house for a family or friends gathering - lots of space as well as lots of activities to bring people together (loved the football, tennis and boardgames). Lots of interesting touches in the house too - teenagers were fascinated by the old-fashioned scales and sewing machine. All very comfortable and really clean. Hope to be back!

Unique mountain stay
What a wonderful home, absolutely perfect for a weekend get-together of friends. A unique property with so many wonderful aspects and features, including all the comforts you could want, but homely, authentic and that main bedroom with a view….to die for. We will definitely be back.

Well located, excellent facilities and spotlessly clean
We are a tennis family and having access to this house with a tennis court was perfect for our family of 5. The house was located in a quiet beautiful part of Blackheath with yard for the kids to run. The house was large enough for us all to have enough space and was spotlessly clean! All small details were catered for, nothing missing or out of place. Log fires for the cold nights, extra blankets available and electric blankets for all beds. We'll definitely be back!

Brilliant Trip!
The property was amazing: beautiful views, always something to do, and very easy to keep warm and cosy. With Katoomba only a short drive away, even the location was perfect. Highly recommend.

Magical spot, beautiful house
The house is so beautifully appointed and lovingly maintained with many different spots for people to relax in the way they feel like. The private lookout is a superb place for a cup of tea, and an evening around the firepit brought all ages together. Thank you so much for sharing this magical place.

Amazing and liberating getaway
Spent a weekend away with close friends and family, an amazing escape from the busy city life.
A beautiful lookout, where you can listen to all the sounds of nature and breathe in the amazing air.
A huge yard to enjoy some outdoor actives, soak in the sun or play some catch, it really was an amazing weekend away!
It does get quite cold up there, heaters, electric blankets and fireplaces are available and will keep you warm but it is worth bringing some blankets and warm clothes during the colder seasons if you are sensitive!
Overall I couldn't have been more happier having spent my time here and would happily come again, I can't wait!
Thank you again to the owners for their hospitality!

delightful weekend
Great location close less than 15-20 mins) to Megalong valley, Meadow Bath and Blackheath. Tennis court is tip top! We all agreed it was the perfect mix of old world charm and comfort. Worth noting that there are three bathrooms which is more than the listing suggested so that was a bonus!!! Take the time to read the guest book.... the regulars have been every year for over 20 years...and it’s easy to see why.

We were also provided with very detailed instructions on everything which was very handy.

We were two families, keen to relax by the fire with books and mugs of tea and do walks in the Blue Mountains... the property is in a great location and has plenty of space. We enjoyed the tennis court and the little path to the lookout.
It’s quiet and private and feels like a summerhouse. Thanks for everything!
