Great location for our stay on Gili Air

Great location for being handy to the restaurants and night life. But not too noisy, Large bathroom

Rest assure you won’t rest on Tuesdays- for the rest is good!

One of the staff member was incredibly nice and this is the reason why I have mixed feelings about this review. He helped me book a snorkelling trip and gave me tips about Gili T too. The room was cozy and clean(ish), but definitely not worth the price. The second night I stayed in the bungalow next door, which was less than half and had the same facilities, just a tinier smaller. There were no bugs, but be mindful you are by the beach in a wooden bungalow.

The main issue is the noise. I don’t mind some music and people until midnight or so, but a techno house party next door until 3am isn’t ideal. The club next door has these parties every Tuesday, so if you are staying Tuesday night, just book somewhere else. Breakfast is basic, the beach restaurant is cute, but I haven’t eaten there. Cocktails were good and very cheap! All in all, great if you bookthe cheaper rooms, and not on Tuesday!

Nice basic wooden cabin by the beach!

The second night I had a cheaper room that looked exactly like the more expensive one just smaller. It was good for what I needed. Had fridge, water bottles, coffee, a/c. Nice couch on the porch, right on the street/beach. Can be a lil noisy a night, just make sure you don’t book on Tuesdays when the club next door is having a techno party. One member of staff was great and very helpful. I would come back here (the cheaper room) not on a Tuesday!

Beautiful beaches and lively location.

The property is located meters from the beach front in amongst some of the islands music venues on the weekend, and while the place is quite on an evening in the week at the weekends the party can be heard from your room up until 5/6 am.

The island isn’t policed and unfortunately a culture of narcotics is being provided by local bar workers, I was offered a number of items on 3 separate occasions.

Très très chouette

Excellent emplacement, honnêtement je pense un des meilleurs sur l’île : plage étendue juste devant l’hôtel pour admirer les couchers de soleil fabuleux commerces, restaurants tout autour. Personnel souriant et très agréable en restauration. Petit déjeuner très bon.

Attention le petit déjeuner inclus ne comprend en fait qu’un jus d’orange, le reste est payant : il faut juste le savoir. Mais les prix pratiqués sur place pour des européens ne sont pas du tout élevés

Un très bon séjour dans ce petit hôtel tranquille

J’ai aimé la gentillesse du personnel et les logements ainsi qu une jolie plage où l’on peut lézarder et se baigner ce qui n’est pas le cas de toutes les cotes de l île.

Se podria repetir de nuevo

Sobre todo el personal, cualquier detalle o algo que necesitaras lo tenías al momento . La situación inmejorable . Desayunar en la playa cuando aún no hay nadie alrededor,No tiene precio .

El que no tenga caja fuerte. Pero es un detalle sin importancia. Eso no afecta para nada en mi estancia .

Cozy bungalows by the beacv

Beautiful beach with wonderful food and cocktails. 2 cocktails for 75k every evening. Amazing breakfast included. Beautiful little cozy bungalows, some have a view of the ocean, some are in the garden and some rooms look at the pool. Clean big pool with sunloungers and shades. Warm and friendly staff.

The floor of the bungalows has cracks where bugs can enter. The floors and especially bathroom is not very clean. Towels were not changed even though “cleaning” was done.

It was still an amazing & enjoyable experience despite unpleasantness of small issues that we faced

Loved the friendly people there and their services. They make you feel so warm and welcomed. Big thanks to my favorite Eros & Dias! Also the wonderful boss there and 3 other friendly, young and amazing staffs (I'm so sorry I forgot their names). Loved the beautiful view that the restaurant have, right on the beach be it for breakfast, lunch or dinner (beautiful sunset). I specially enjoyed the sunset daily, comfortable bean bags where you can relax and just enjoy a drink as well as dinner while watching the sun goes down. The beach is just across of the hotel extremely near. It isn't too far from the harbour either, probably around 10 mins. Room and bathroom is spacious, have proper netting and a beautiful scenery of the pool when you look out the window / door.

The beach is nice to look but not for swimming. The sand are made of coral pieces therefore it's painful to the feet and it's rough. Also the waves there are strong. On the south east, there are fine sand and nice sea to swim in. Toilet bowl was kinda leaking but very lightly and we had only suspected it due to the smell and saw some water kind of coming out at the bottom of the toilet bowl. There were no place to hang toilet papers near the toilet and we used our own little hanger netting to hang it there for use. Rain shower water wasn't strong enough and sometimes it's hard to wash off the sand, stones, seaweeds, etc from your body but it was already a lot better than the other one in Gili T that we were at, so I had been grateful about it. Beds have some fine sands on them the first night we were there and we had it swept away and it was all good. The swimming pool has pretty sharp edges that I cut myself just by touching it softly. They should make it like the normal tiles where the edge is kinda curved or more rounded for safety of others but the pool was still cool.

It’s my favourite place! Staff are all lovely and go out of their way to help you out, beautiful clean pool. Very lovely and relaxing!

Nice big room and I liked the outdoor shower. Staff was friendly.

Not worth being on the beach as the bar next door blasted music until 5am so I didn’t sleep much.

Best sunset beach cocktail bar on the island

Salabose has a stunning new circular beach bar with amazing happy hour specials. The biggest beach with comfy cushion bean bags is great for chill-out sunsets. Their new WiFi rocks with a beach node for strong signal access. The bar staff love to mix your favorite cocktails. My bungalow was just steps behind the restaurant & shop by the pool. There’s even backpacker rooms further back on the property for young adventure travelers.

The new chef arrived in the last week of June 2023 and is adding some required sizzle to their new menus. Expect more to come.

Very good

Staff was amazing, helpful, and very accomodating. Once we changed rooms to be closer to the pool, we were really happy. Breakfasts were included and pretty good.

Rooms at the back have carpet. Drinks weren't very good except for the mango daiquiri. Stick to beer.😉
