Great location, value for money and friendly staff

We were picked up from the port and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely clean rooms in a good location for the Chora, great restaurants around.

Beds could be more comfortable.

CHARMING FAMILY-RUN PLACE RIGHT IN THE CENTER

The location was perfect - right in the center of it all! Walking distance to Kastro, all the little cafes and restaurants, and of course, to the church of Panagia to see the sunset….I would stay here again. The staff was super friendly – they picked us up and dropped us off at the port without charging us anything.

The only “problem” we encountered was that there was no shower curtain in the bathroom, which was easy to work around.

Friendly, welcoming family run accomodation in great location!

I loved Folegandros island and the location of this accomodation. It was close to the main bus stop and centre with amazing restaurants and also small supermarkets. The owners were super friendly and you felt like you were staying with a 'family' and nothing was too much trouble. The room and kitchenette facilities were basic but they had everything I needed and being a solo traveller I felt really comfortable and welcomed.

Excellent villas at Folegandros

My fav new island and i loved these villas that were comfy and clean and very central to chora and monastery. Great cafe next door and owners most hospitable snd helpful. I shall return for sure! Thoroughly reccommend this accomodation!

The location is perfect, at the beginning of the Chora. The apartment is very nice, clean and confortable. The hosts are very kind people! Always ready to help!

Really very good!

As the name implies, it is located just outside the entrance to the Castro/ Hora, the central village of the island. Just in the middle/centre of everything.. View was stunning, all around Room was very nice, not very spacious but just enough for two, very bright too with 3 windows and a balcony door, giving to a huge terrace! The owners very friendly and polite Helped with the luggage and drove us to the port when leaving for free. I certainly recommend it

Right next to the fairy tale village

We enjoyed our stay at Paraporti. The quiet hotel sits by itself behind the traditional church on the edge of the magical Chora Village. There are fantastic panorama views of the cliffs of the volcano from many areas of the village. Colorful houses, small shops, travel office, and many outdoor restaurants right around the corner. (No cars or motorcycles allowed in the village.) Each room has a terrace or balcony opening up to a well-maintained courtyard. Our room was spacious and clean with a kitchenette.The owner and his family were friendly and helpful. They provided transportation to and from the ferry port, which was very helpful. The path winding up to the Church of Panagia is just steps away from the hotel. The path offers fantastic views, especially at sunset. We highly recommend Paraporti and wish we could have stayed longer!

An absolute gem in a perfect location.

Such a phenomenal property in a stellar location. I believe it is family owned and run and it shows. The entire family is helpful and available and does everything to make sure you feel at home in this beautiful location.

Perfect hotel in Folegandros

We loved our stay at Parapoti. The studio was big, very clean, and perfectly located. The staff were great and very helpful. We will certainly come back again!

A journey to the past

The location is perfect. The surrounding unbelievable. A forgotten diamond in the Cyclades

Very Nice Stay (despite some inconveniences)

Despite the cons, I'm happy to underline many pros. Paraporti is very well located. We had a nice terrace. The apt was spacious, comfortable and with great sunlight. Despite the initial misunderstandings, the staff turned out to be pretty helpful. They assisted us with car rental and other minor things.

Prior to the check-in there were relevant communication difficulties. In addition, our clothes were damaged as white ones were mixed with coloured ones. This was too bad!

Perfect location in Chora!

Very well located in the centre of Chora, very close to the restaurants and the Panagia stairs, but at the same time, very quiet at night. Big room with plenty of place to store the luggage. And excellent attention from our hosts!!!

Everything was ok. Maybe I would recommend to update the furniture/bathroom soon.

Perfect location

Very friendly and helpful owners, excellent location at the entrance to the old town, next to an amazing view-point. The room was large and comfortable with a terrace and everything you need. Transfer to and from the port. Bus station is also close as are the stair up to the Church of Panagia. Next door is a good place for breakfast, lunch and evening drinks with live music called I Pounta. Also try To Goupa in the old town for an authentic meze dinner. We need to stay longer next time!

Best possible Location

Location was PERFECT. No better location in Chora that includes parking too. Free laundry on sight. We had a BIG room with a terrace, newly renovated, Great water pressure.

Honestly we loved it for the price. Staff was kind but be aware they speak little English. It was not a problem for us.

Good

Perfectly positioned on the edge of the Chora. The staff were very accommodating, helpful and pleasant.

Although well kept and very clean it is slightly dated. The internet connection was very erratic.

Exceptional

Best situation possible at the same entrance of Chora, with all the bars and restaurants less than 5 minutes away on foot. The room is very big, clean and comfortable. The couple running the business are very helpful: they pick us up on our arrival to Folegandros, helped to rent a motor bike (the guy from the rental bikes actually came to Paraporti with our bike) and drop us off when leaving the island. Anything we needed they helped us with a smile! 😊 If we ever come back to Folegandros or a friend/family comes to the island we would surely recommend staying at Paraporti
