We love the Lodge. It had everything you would need for a holiday. Sauna and Hot tub were an added bonus we spent lots of time in them. The enclosed garden with tree swing was a hit with the kids. All the bedrooms are well designed and very comfy. Great location to fab beaches bars and restaurants. We will certainly come back.

Lovely Lodge in an ideal location for a walk along the beach to Ty Coch and the golf club. Followed by a nice meal at the Cliff Hotel. Highly recommended, well equipped for all age groups.

Lovely house, garden & amenities. Everything we needed and more. Ideal for our family of both two and four legged individuals aged between 18 months and 64 years. The hot tub & sauna were a particular hit with all those with two legs. We had a great time, plan a revisit and we would recommend The Lodge to anyone.

Great place for a family to stay, the garden and swing were much used by the children and the hot tub and sauna were perfect for the adults to chill. It had everything needed for a family holiday. The head height in the top room is a bit of an issue but it was great to have the extra private space. Access to the lane is very narrow so the Tesco van wouldn’t come to the cottage, we had to walk to the top of the lane though we had no difficulty accessing with our cars!
Very helpful owner with good communication and a lovely bottle of wine for our arrival. All members of the family were very happy with our stay from ages 6-65!

Lovely property in great location with great facilities. Good outdoor space and very sociable indoor space.
Access is tight along a little lane so larger vehicles would possibly struggle.

Fabulous weekend away
Stayed for a 3 night weekend at the Lodge and all 6 of us had a great time. Hot tub and sauna at the Lodge were well used and The Lodge was very well equipped. Communication with the host was superb with recommendations for meals out. Had a lovely walk to the beach, via the golf club for a drink. Ty Coch Inn is great and we had a great meal at the Cliffs. We will hopefully return soon. Thank you Frankie! X

Great end of lockdown escape
We had a really nice few days away, although the check-in process was a little bit mixed as the pre-arrival information hadn’t been sent. We also didn’t know about any of the COVID changes affecting things we thought were available at the property. I accept that this is probably difficult to manage for everyone but with two kids it makes a difference!!
The property itself was nice; the garden space and swing were great for the kids.
Overall I think a few slight improvements would have made a good holiday into a great one, but it’s a good space for families.

Great holiday house in Morfa Nefyn
Lovely house and very well equipped. Great, secure garden for the grandchildren to play in and the hot tub was an added bonus. Good location...Porthdinllaen, Morfa Nefyn and Nefyn beaches all within walking distance as well as a park. Ideal for a family holiday

Good location
Positives
Excellent location and lovely garden. The owners have added thoughtful touches like a Foosball table and ping pong table which provided lots of fun. Hot tub was clean and a touch of luxury. The kitchen is very well appointed.
Negatives
The two lower double bedrooms smell and even with the windows open and aired the smell remains (damp??). The upstairs bedroom is only suitable for kids as the ceiling is too low for adults, this is such a shame as it is a beautiful room with a fabulous view.

Fantastic house, great weather, perfect holiday
Just got back from our 3rd stay at The Lodge and we weren't disappointed. The house is fantastic, garden and hot tub are excellent, weather was better than expected, and the holiday was perfect. Thanks for letting us stay again, hope you'll have us back in 2019.

Lovely cottage
It was ok. A little too remote for us in hindsight. House was nice enough but watch the spiders! Owner was very helpful on the other end of the phone. Highlight: hot tub was fabulous. A well worth addition to the property.

We loved The Lodge!
We booked the lodge via Home Away. Sarah was helpful and ensured we had all the information we needed. We booked the lodge as we were meeting up with friends for the weekend who were staying at their caravan nearby. The lodge was perfect and had everything we needed for a family get together. The lodge is clean, nicely decorated with new furnishings and very well equipped. We all had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was great too and thankfully we had lovely weather so used it several times. We would definitely consider booking it again if we head to this beautiful part of Wales again! Thank you.

Lovely Lodge and plenty to do out around the area. The Ship Inn is superb. Aberdaron nice day out and Whistling Sands well worth a visit.

Outstanding!
This is a lovely spacious cottage a short walk from the beach and very well located for exploring the Llyn peninsula. The triple bunk beds are adult length - perfectly fine for 3 teenage boys! Our 9 year old loved the tree swing and the garden and everyone enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at the end of a long day. Well equipped, spotlessly clean, excellent correspondence and information from the owner. We'd gladly stay again!

Absolutely fabulous!
A wonderful place to stay with every detail taken care of. It was a luxury to rent a cottage that wasn't dominated by rules about what you can and can't do - it felt like a home from home. I would definitely recommend it. We went for a girlie weekend but it would work just as well for a family break. Amazing

Lovely cottage
Stayed here for 7 nights as a patty of 5 which included our 2 year old grandson. The large secure garden was a huge bonus to us and our grandson spent many happy hours playing in it as did we all. The cottage is warm and cosy and being on one level made it easy to get around. Everything you need is supplied, beds are comfy and kitchen has all mod cons. New garden furniture was delivered on our first night and this was much used as the weather we had was fantastic. We visited Abersoch twice as the beach was lovely and swimming in the crystal clear water was worth the shock when you first get in. Aberdaron was also visited twice, nice to have a coffee at the Ty Newydd overlooking the sea and just watch the world go by. We went to the Rabbit Farm at Dwyfor and this was enjoyed by our grandson, whiles away a couple of hours and you can take a picnic if you want. My husband and I went to local Nefyn beach and sat on the deck of the beach hut, very peaceful. Finally a visit to the Ty Coch is a must, walk across the golf course, drop down to the beach and just enjoy the tranquility as you sit with a drink. I would recommend this cottage for your holiday, the owner was extremely helpful and easy to contact. Don't hesitate - book it.

Lovely cottage in excellent location
We have just returned from a lovely weekend break in the Lodge. The cottage is beautiful and fully equipped and the hot tub was lovely to relax in. Sarah, the owner, was really helpful and had left a bottle of wine for our arrival. We would recommend this property and hope to return sometime

Modern yet cosy, Fantastic place!
From the moment I contacted the owners to the end of the holiday was an absolute pleasure. Sarah couldn't be more helpful or accommodating. The cottage is very well equipped, very clean in fact it was more home from home feeling. All mod cons through out including Netflix and a great wi-fi signal all included in the price. We had a couple of needs when searching a holiday let, dog friendly, log fire, comfortable living space, hot tub and garden space and each and everyone was met above and beyond, all set in a stunning mountain back drop (although once all the trees are in leaf you may not get to appreciate this quite so much).
The intention of our break was to relax after a very busy christmas, which we did but in taking the dogs on many walks found the local area provided as much beauty as the house. The local pub 'Y Bryncynan' did good food and drink and also allowed dogs. Bit of a hairy walk along a the road but with decent torch its not really an issue. The local chip shop is great walking distance but funny opening hours (Thurs, Fri, Sat only). Perfectly adequate Spar for shopping and a larger Asda only 10-15 mins drive for a bigger shop.
The local costal walks are great and I imagine in the summer the beaches must be amazing, although we spent a lot of time on and around the beaches even mid winter. If your thinking of venturing towards Snowdon, again only a short drive to the base of the west side for car parks and the train to the summit.
All in all, a fabulous home, great area with as much or as little as you wish to make of any visit. I can highly recommend this property and a huge Thank you to the owners.
Do also not the owners also have a second property very near by so if you were looking to go with others this could be of use to you too.

The hot tub was a great bonus , my husband totally relaxed in it . The locals were lovely and there some excellent restaurants and pubs just minutes away . We had a fabulous time and are returning next october .
