It was all in original condition with beautiful decor. The staff were amazing. The courtyard, breakfast room all stunning. The gates to drive in were beautiful.
It was all beautiful. Not easy to find but that was ok.

What an unbelievable experience!!! The rooms were extraordinary!!! Staff most informative and helpful. Breakfast was a feast!!
Had some difficulty finding the hotel. Should have been advised that the road the hotel is on has a no access block post so can't enter. We circled several times!!

This is a historic Palazzo. Do I need to say more! The location is right in the historic part of town. The apartment is huge with a kitchen. The bathroom and shower are wonderful. The staff is very accommodating. I am not a big breakfast eater, but it looked pretty good.

The place is really nice, old palazzio with beautifull garden.
We've been treated like outcast because we didn't arrive in a Mazerati... we didn't look rich enough for the owner to meet us. We've been asked several times on our arrival "are you sure you have a reservation here" ... and they was no problem with the reservation, we had already paid!
The TV was broken, they didn't try to fix it during our stay. We had no explanation on the airconditioning or the electrical opening of the windows.
The guardian of the place was ok but they didn't find us a taxi to go to the airport, saying they had no solution for us and leaving us in the rain to go and find a taxi in the street...

The palazzo has a rich history and is beautifully decorated. A huge, impressive statue of Hercules (at least I think it is Hercules) dominates the courtyard. The owners and staff were kind and helpful and did their best to see that I was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious—the food was very high quality and best of all, the baked goods were homemade. The location is convenient to both the city and the train station. I would stay here again.
I booked here because from the photo, I thought I would be staying on ground level. It turned out that my room was three stories up. For some reason, I had a very hard time finding my way to my room (I usually have a very good sense of direction) and the code pad for entry was in the shadows, so I did not see it. Interior signage would be very helpful—other businesses were marked. Most frustrating the first day was the shower in my room. Water from the sink backed up into the shower and I was standing in this when I showered. This was not at all pleasant. I reported the problem and there was nothing that would be done that night. However, my room was changed the next day, thanks to a cancellation—and I had absolutely no problem with the second room.

Elegant, historic palazzo, charming garden, helpful, kind staff, generous breakfast, enormous bedroom and bath opening to interior courtyard with 16th century statue of Hercules.
Nothing.

exceptional room in an exceptional building - extremely comfortable and quiet in a unique historical setting- great breakfast and welcome

fabulous Italian palazzo where we had a huge room with vaulted ceiling and lovely parquet floor (which, it has to be said, was incredibly creaky - didn’t bother us but we were only there one night) suite also had a lovely sitting room with smart tv and very large bathroom, complementary drink in the room was a lovely touch, the location is central but very quiet and there’s an amazing statue of Hercules in the central courtyard
we were unable to get in when we first arrived (despite having messaged the property of our arrival time and having a message back confirming it was fine) reception is open v limited hours - appreciate this is not a hotel but better information about contact and just how things run - supplied in the room and in advance - would go a long way to improving the experience

Unbelievably humongous room! Pictures don’t do it justice. Felt like a princess staying here.

Obviously a one-time palace. Huge, comfortable room with a separate sitting room for television and a spacious, well equipped bathroom. Gorgeous grounds. Perfect location. And an extremely friendly/helpful staff.
Can't think of anything.

The welcome, the rooms were huge and airy, the staff and owner were charming. The site is extremely calm and quiet - you know you are staying in a Palazzo.
Nothing though just a little difficult to find the entrance when we arrived as it is very discreet.

Everything was great about this facility. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were very nice and the largest rooms (space wise) I have ever stayed in anywhere. Old world charm with modern amenities. Breakfast was plentiful and attentive staff. Location was ideal. No negatives.

Simply empathetic. Silent, friendly, clean, no bureaucracies, walking distance to historic sites, nice garden and Kanthi who made our stay even more pleasant. Thanks for everything.

The room was absolutely amazing - by far the largest room I've stayed in anywhere in the world! The courtyard and garden (more like a park) were also huge, and very lovely. It was good to have tea-making facilities as well.
I got Covid and the owner rang the authorities and then made us leave. We had to cancel many stays due to covid, and everywhere else gave us a full refund. This place, unfortunately, refused any refund, saying that they could charge us extra for cleaning. I understand their position, but it still felt pretty bad to be "kicked out" of the accommodation when I was so sick, and I hadn't been near anyone. If you're well and want somewhere great to stay, I would recommend it - just don't get sick!

The place is beautiful, very clean and comfortable! The staff was extraordinary friendly, supportive and available when needed. Our daughter had birthday during our stay and they even prepared the breakfast room with balloons and decorations.

The room was beautiful with high ceilings, and nicely decorated. The shower and bathroom was large. Air conditioned, which was awesome in the summer heat. Lovely garden to sit in behind the property. Parking nearby.
Freshly prepared breakfast items, coffee in the lobby as well as drinks for the afternoon. Near the Capella Scrovegni, and the Cathedral. Also convenient to the train station for other day trips. Good restaurants nearby.
Beds were hard. This is typical of European beds, I think Americans like softer beds. Otherwise I had no complaints.

Such a special experience to stay in this beautiful Palazzo in a comfortable luxurious modern room with wonderful service and breakfast. And a lovely garden just outside my door. I wish I could have stayed longer.
