Pros
Excellent views from the harbor-view room. Our room overlooked a cliff, the sound of waves crashing was a pleasant background/ambient sound throughout.
One side of the resort faces a tiny private beach, an alcove really. Accessible only when there is low tide, otherwise it's just steps leading down to the waves.
Comfortable bed and pillows
Clean bathroom
Helpful staff
Adequate breakfast (nothing fancy, just the basics including fresh South Indian breakfast)
Taxi/cab on demand with reasonable pricing
Cons
Our stay was in the peak monsoon season which happens to be off-season for the Dona Paula locality. So there was nothing outside the resort. No crowds, all street shops were closed, many restaurants that showed open on Google Maps were closed for the season. So we ended up having most meals in the in-house restaurant.

The view is marvelous and food is hygienic
The room which was offered to me on the ground floor was not clean, there was a stinking smell in the washroom after repeated complaints it was replaced with the other.
One request please maintain hygiene for washroom

I liked the sea view from my room balcony
Water pressure both in the hand shower as well as for bathing purpose was too low and despite telling the staff about it…still they haven’t rectified it. Also, in place of shower they have installed a hand shower and it was quite a task to bath properly.

Breakfast was limited and not served hot. The property is overpriced compared to the facility and comfort offered.
AC doesnt function properly. The in room services are pathetic.
Facilities and food at restaurant could have been better.

Nice view, reception staff & security staff lovely, couldn’t fault those people, gardener I think he was he was lovely too & always busy doing something ,
Breakfast was terrible if you were English, we felt like an inconvenience, when we asked for crispy bacon & omelette the omelette arrived 20 minutes after you’d eaten the omelette, breakfast turned into a stressful time , so after the 4th morning we decided to go to the hotel next door for breakfast which was lovely & everything came together on your plate. The cleanliness was poor, the pool was dirty, never actually seen anyone clean it , the steps up to the room were never swept or washed down,as you walked up to our rooms it just looked unclean & uncared for.It just seemed as if there was no one actually in charge, so staff who couldn’t be bothered … didn’t bother ! Also I have to ask the question why don’t the hotels look after the little beach outside ? It looks terrible with all the rubbish on it! So we stayed here for a week in the lovely sunshine but was unable to go for a swim to cool off due to dirty pool & the beach looking dirty with rubbish.

The room overlooking the beach, the location close to Dona paula, that the boat man could pick you up from the beach.then do fishing and picnic on the beach. The sun set over the beach which is never crowded and being able to Swim in the gentle slopping sea.
Nothing, keep up the good work will be back again.

Value for money. Amazing location with a private beach. Exactly like what is seen in the pictures. The staff is really helpful. Poly made sure we had amazing masala tea for our breakfast and Vignesh made sure our travel goes hassle-free and whenever required helped us with booking the cab. Food is really delicious. Moreover, it's just 5 minutes walk to Dona paula view point .
Ac and flush weren't working properly in one of our rooms but as soon as I asked for the service it was provided and sorted. I just felt that they should have checked it and I don't have to mention it.

The staff were accommodating and efficient with our check-in. The garden is beautiful, and the location is perfect.
Every staff member smiled and said hello, which made us feel very welcome.
The room was large, but it would be great if they gave at least two pillows each, as many people like more than one.
Also, the curtains did not cover the windows, and the material is white, allowing most of the light. This would not have been such an issue if the hotel did not have lights on outside the window along the whole building.
A few minor improvements would have meant that we would have slept well.
The breakfast was extremely basic, and after seeing it, we decided to avoid the radioactive red jam and go out and have a special breakfast. Finding a good hotel breakfast is very rare, and I tend to avoid them as I would prefer to pay and enjoy my meal.

The location is amazing, our room and the view from there were stunning, the premises is very well maintained, the staff is excellent would like to mention Shaukat and Sandeep from housekeeping who did an excellent job as well as Valency at front office who was very helpful.
The restaurant could definitely offer more to customers in terms of food options for e.g please include the Goan poi and unddo as bread options, more Goan food would be very welcome.
WIFI very flaky so that was a big let-down for us.

Big Bedroom with a sea view and a little balcony. The lovely swimming pool which was empty in the day because everyone was out visiting places
No plug in the sink and they don't have any available. This is a common occurrence around India. They just don't have plugs in their sinks. My advice is "Take one with you!"
