We had a wonderful stay. A very quiet neighborhood in which is nice after a busy day of touring the beautiful area. No problems or disappointments at the house—very homey.

Fabulous interior decorations of a house built in the 19th century. AND very close to the Arkansas River (trout fishing within walking distance.) Interior was modern and new and hosts provided almost instant follow-up for any of our needs like restaurant recommendations, etc. We will definitely be back again.

Enjoyed this place very much. It's an old home with great character and had everything we needed for our stay. The fenced in yard was great and enjoyed by our pup. The heater worked but the thermostat has a learning curve. Neighbor was friendly and felt safe the entire time. Would stay again given the opportunity.

Great place, right in the thick of Cañon City
Had a great stay and this place. Came fully stocked with all the home goods needed to make the stay easier on us. Super close to all the fun in and around the city, and located on a sleepy street. When the family made it back in for the day, the kids had all they needed to stay entertained with the stocked movies and games. All around great place to rest our heads.

Great location
This was a great place to stay for our short visit. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. It was only a couple blocks from a big park and river area that the kids spent hours at every day. It was a great trip!

Great property
House was very clean, and everything was very well labeled so you know where everything is. Large movie and game collection, plenty of extra blankets, towels, and pillows. Owner was very responsive with some concerns, and they were remedied immediately. The dishwasher, washing machine and dryer have all been upgraded from what is shown in the pictures. Overall a very nice property with an owner who is very responsive to communication. My family would stay here again.

Stayed a long weekend here. Didn't use the upstairs. Everything worked great. Well stocked kitchen, clean, comfortable, great decor, soft sheets, good towels, very inviting and warm. Will definitely stay here again.

Really nice, but woken up repeatedly
This property is really nice, everything is labeled and easy to find and it had everything we needed. Unfortunately getting sleep in the master bedroom is difficult as there is an extremely loud rushing water sound (likely the water heater) every hour or so that will likely wake must from a deep sleep. After being woken up 2-3x a night for 3 nights straight by it I was ready to leave despite how nice everything else was.

Great spot in Canon City
Very nice property. Exactly as described. Quiet neighborhood. Able to walk to the River Walk. Everything else would be a short drive. Very comfortable for 6 adults. More if you used the pull out couch. We’ll be renting this home on future Trips to visit our son!

Great house in a great location
We had so much fun in Canyon City and this house made it even better. The location is great for walking around town, to the park and train. It had everything we could have wanted. The lock box wasn’t working for us but we had the e key so it didn’t really matter. We would definitely stay here again

Nice, comfortable house in a good location
This house is well set up for families with kids' movies, video games, and board games. The neighbor has chickens and goats and let the kids see and pet them. The kids had a blast!
The house is older but nicely remodeled and stocked with everything needed.
The location is ideal near a park with a playground, the riverwalk, and the rest of town.
We will be coming back!

Wonderful, well-equipped home on a quiet street
Eight people shared this beautiful home for 1 1/2 weeks in August 2018. Our host, Katie, provided excellent service when we contacted her. She was professional and friendly and sought to make our stay the best it could be.
We've rented several properties in our travels and this was the best-equipped home we've stayed at.
Every morning and evening several of us gathered on the back deck (room for all of us to be seated comfortably) to chat and watch the myriad of wildlife come through the backyard. It was the perfect setting. The next door neighbors were very friendly and helpful.
We cooked and ate most meals at the house, including grilling out on the back deck a couple of times. There was plenty of space in the kitchen for several people to help prepare the meals.
The bedrooms met the need for us all with plenty of space. Having two master bedrooms was great. The additional bedroom and sleeping spaces were more than sufficient for our group.
We enjoyed playing games provided at the dining room table while others made use of the large screen TV.
We were in walking distance to Centennial Park which has a fun playground and water features fun for kids. We were also within an easy 15-minute walk into town.
Every family member loved this home and location. We highly recommend this property and plan to book it when we are in town again.

Nicely Remodeled Home
The home was nice, with all the amenities of home; the owner left out no details. The house was very clean and well maintained. The property is on a quiet, country-like lot with wonderful neighbors. However, the A/C doesn't work well upstairs (2 of the 3 bedrooms are upstairs) and there is no fenced area for a "pet-friendly" property (paid a $75 pet fee for no pet accommodations).. If not for the 2 complaints, I would have rated it 5 stars!

Cute and clean house
The house is cute, clean and homey. There are books and games for the kids. We had plenty of space for all 11 of us. It’s a great location and in a quiet neighborhood. Washer and dryer were lifesavers since we had 8 kids along for the trip. The only negative was that the weather was between 95-100 degrees so the upstairs was a bit warm at night. the kids wound change the thermostat trying to get more comfortable upstairs and we would freeze downstairs while they were still sweating. Overall, would definitely stay here again! Katie answered all our questions very promptly and was very courteous.

We loved staying at Katies house!!! I highly recommend it!!
From the moment we walked in the door we were thrilled. Katie had everything so perfectly decorated. She even has games for the whole family and free wi-fi! I do remote work and I was able to stay on top of my job while my kids were napping or playing outside with my husband. Even the neighbors are great! They invited us to pet their adorable goats. Katie has everything stocked up and ready to use. She thought of everything. She has every drawer and cabinet labeled and you never have to wonder where to find something. The bedrooms are so beautiful and comfortable. We slept so great there. I have three children and they all loved running up and down the stairs, playing from one room to the next and getting out the many board games. I don't think we've ever had that much fun at "home" before. We had pizza delivered and had so many choices of eateries around town. We went for walks to the Arkansas River, went to the Royal Gorge, and even did some kayaking! Katie's house is on a beautiful street, easy to get around town and so welcoming. She even had a wii available for everyone to play. We didn't get a chance to play it, but maybe we will on our next visit. With three kids, there is always laundry to do and it was so nice to be able to throw in a load of wash and not have to carry around our dirty clothes like we would have if we were at a hotel. After staying there it felt strange to be leaving. We felt right at home. I especially loved the vanity table she has in the upstairs bathroom. I was able to put my makeup on and do my hair while sitting down in a comfy chair. Both bathrooms are fully stocked with plush towels and washcloths. If it's just a night or a month that you're looking to stay in Canon City, you have to stay here! We can't wait to go back. I contacted Katie a couple of times with some questions and she responded so quickly. She really takes the time to make sure your stay is the best it can possibly be. She has excellent taste in decorating and comfort. I wanted to stay there again and it books up fast. So if you want to stay there, you have to book now or you will miss your chance to stay at this amazing house with so much character and charm. I am having a hard time looking at other VRBO's, because they just don't match up to Katie's house. I give our stay there a million stars, not just five!
