Posto bellissimo vicino 10 minute al monte Rushmore e a Keystone. Ristorante davanti consigliatissimo. Buona la little colazione.

The location was decent.
The picture of the Lodge is totally different from the actual lodge we had to stay in. The room smelled swampy as soon as we opened the door. There was no hot water. We reported that issue and they tried to fix it 3 times. The next morning we reported there was no hot water again. We requested a full refund for our two night stay, even though we only stayed one night and checked out that same morning.

Location. Close to Mount Rushmore
We stayed 2 nights. The water heater in the room broke the first day we were there and was forced to take cold showers for 2 days while it was 50F outside. While management was attempting to fix it for like 7 times the room was subjected to minor flooding and we were forced to endure a noisy fan running throughout the night in the room to dry the carpet. The management did not seem to be bothered by these inconveniences caused to the guests. They seemed indifferent. I would definitely not recommend this place to any one. Room and bathroom were small. Also there was hardly any place to keep our luggage. The breakfast was very minimal with toast, cereals, coffee.

Goede en vriendelijke ontvangst. Prima ruime schone kamer. Ontbijt niet heel uitgebreid, maar prima. Mount Rushmore en Crazy Horse Memorial goed bereikbaar. Badlands NP ligt op ca. 75 minuten rijden.

Estaba en una muy buena ubicación.
Le faltó un poco más de limpieza.

We had an excellent suite with 2 separate bedrooms, a kitchen and living room. It was so nice to have a home away from home
The breakfast included was only toast, cereal, oatmeal and fruit. But it was free so no complaint! Just wish there was more options!

Loved the cabin!
Could have been a little cleaner.

Nice man who owns motel, very helpful. Comfortable beds. Good Breakfast

This was a nice place for the money, breakfast didn't offer much but they did have a few things.

We were in the lodge on a hill and had to blend into 65 mph traffic, move to the left lane then turn right all in 100 ft. A little dangerous.
5.0
It was definitely the staff that made it worth the stay they were knowledgeable and very friendly and very helpful
I didn't like that they don't have a better rating cuz to us they deserve it
4.5
The location is perfect, the staff is friendly, and breakfast is good.
The size of our rooms was very compact, but if you're there only to sleep it's ok even for the family of 4.

Super kind, helpful and welcoming staff. The property has such a “homey” feel. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Way better service than other hotel chains we’ve been to.

It was cozy, quiet. Loved the main lodge and fireplace. Nice breakfast. Would have loved to use the outside firepit and rocking chairs. Will plan to stay more than 1 night next time. Would definitely book this one again!
If you miss the entrance in the dark, it's hard to get back to it. On a one way street.

The property has a good location to use as a homebase for visiting different areas in the Black Hills. it was clean and comfortable. We also had a kitchenette and a balcony porch we could sit out on. There are nearby fire pits for bonfires as well, but it cold when we were there, so no grilling or bonfires. We would definitely recommend this place to others and stay there again.

Location, balcony, beds were comfortable.

Location was great. We had an issue with our room and management was quick to respond and address. Great value and room was quite large with a full kitchen.
No ironing board or iron. Breakfast had no hot options other than instant oatmeal.

Breakfast was limited

Exceptionally clean. Excellent, well-priced and quiet place in an expensive and busy area.
Even though there was a full kitchen, it was not really set up for cooking/dining. Very little in the way of dishes and cookware and no table and chairs. No place to hang clothes (rod, but no hangers).

Location is great, close to the parks and to Keystone. Staff is very nice and breakfast was also good.
The room is outdated and need urgently a renovation. There was humidity in the room, and it was comfortable. Also is Wi-Fi not working, and it was necessary to go to the office for a connection. Also, the TV signal stopped from time to time.
Housekeeping did not change the towels, so we had to organize new once by our self.
3.5
The room was wonderful—spacious, clean, comfortable, and everything we needed. Could have used one extra nightstand. There were 2 queen beds and one nightstand and bed lamp. Felt safe. Would be fun with a family. The staff needs to let guests know there is a safer way to get to the lodge, which is across the highway from the office. The breakfast is minimal.

Loved having a full kitchen and access to a grill!!! This made the stay possible for our family as we have several dietary needs.
The breakfast was adequate and exactly what was advised. Not a huge selection, but enough.
Location was great for us! Close enough to EVERYTHING!
The swingsets at both locations were great for letting the kids burn off some energy.
We really enjoyed getting to know the staff and chatting with them.

The lodge was nice, continental
breakfast nice.
The room we had, queen bed with futon, so very small.
2.5
We had a deluxe suite and it was wonderful!
The rooms above us had a lot of activity and you could hear everything. Really hard to sleep with all the noise. Would stay again but only on top floor.
3.0
very nice room full kitchenette that was adequately equipped. comfortable beds
I’d give this a higher rating except the lodge has 2 locations and it is not easy finding the off site one especially in the dark. also a very odd system where the cleaning staff enters your room through your bathroom area. makes for a potentially embarrassing experience for everyone involved. they need to fix that issue pronto.
3.0
The facilities were clean and kept up. The staff was very friendly and cared about our stay. The property was centrally located and easy to navigate to and from.
The room was a bit small, it seemed like a queen bed would have fit better than a King. The only negative about this stay is that we did not care for the pillows. Of course that is just our opinion.
4.5
This is the second year we have stayed here and would stay again. Staff are great and the lodge grounds are quiet and peaceful and well maintained.
No storage. We stayed in a cabin this time and there was no storage for clothing. Not one closet, armoire or dresser. Also no place to keep your suitcase except on the floor. With no storage options there should be at least suitcase stands. Don't remember there being storage or places for your suitcase in our room last year either which was an efficiency with kitchen
