très agréable

tout était très bien, agréable, l'hôtel est très calme, intime, discret, avec une terrasse intérieure où il est possible de se tenir.. l'hôtel est près de tout, du Rhône, etc..

La chambre était un peu petite, la prochaine fois je demanderais une chambre plus grande si possible.

FINALLY I MANAGED TO RETURN TO ONE OF MY FAVOURITE HAVENS OF TRANQUILITY

CLOSE TO THE RIVER AND A SHORT WALK TO THE CENTRE PAST SOME GREAT LITTLE SHOPS AND CAFES - BUT IT IS LOCATED RIGHT OPPOSITE MUSEUM RATTUE AND IS FAR AWAY ENOUGH TO BE QUIET AND TRANQUIL

THIS IS MY 5TH VISIT OR MORE - THERE IS NOTHING TO DISLIKE - I WILL KEEP COMING BACK HERE

Good for a visit of the old town

Located right in the old town. Nice place for breakfast in the courtyard although we didn't use it as the weather was bad.

The room was quite small with view to the courtyard. Not accessible by car and the next public parking is a few 100m away. Parking is quite expensive.

A wonderful and peaceful hotel in the centre of Arles

The courtyards provide a beautiful and peaceful place to have breakfast, which was the usual selection of all that you would want, and later provide a cool and relaxing place to rest, and even have a glass of wine in the evening. We stayed in a superior room on the top floor which was spacious and very pleasant, overlooking the adjacent rooftops. The staff were all friendly and helpful. All that in the old part of the city within easy walk of all the main tourist attractions. What more can you want?

the room was dark and the wifi was erratic. a brighter room was offered but we were told it would be noisier.

Great spot for visiting Arles.

Excellent spot for easily visiting Arles. Clean, comfortable and really enjoyable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful little patios to enjoy in the sun.

A little hand sink in the toilet area would be nice although I know this is not easy to add.

Unique and friendly home base in Arles

The staff here is so friendly. They immediately made me feel at home. They were happy to help me practice speaking in clumsy French, but switched to English when I got lost. The breakfast was wonderful and varied: I enjoyed on different days hardboiled eggs, yogurt and fruit, croissant with cheese and cold cuts (very good croissants), and lots of coffee every day. The location is great for checking out Arles, and easy to walk to all the museums and Roman sites. The area felt very safe. Lots of amazing restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again!

Tiny mosquitos (we call them no-see-ums or midges in Wisconsin, I was calling them 'petits moustiques') - the window was left open by housekeeping so the little biters came in and drove me crazy.

Would not stay here again. Avignon would be a better location with Arles as a day trip.

Staff friendly and helpful. European continental breakfast was very basic and therefore I think overpriced.

Hotel has a constant smell of sewage. The area in the immediate vicinity of the hotel does as well. It can be quite overpowering and never goes away. Limited pay parking within 2 blocks of hotel and entry to area requires phone call to hotel to have them drop the street barrier each time you enter. Limited sites/things to do. Ended up driving past Avignon each day.

Wonderful location. Great coffee for breakfast.

The WC was separate from the shower and washbasin. That was fine. However, when a person sat down in the WC, her knees touched the door. To stand, the door had to be opened. Not very private.

We wanted a relaxed , easy holiday (The weather helped = blue sky for 5 days !) Arles delivered.

Excellent breakfast selection . Very helpful staff , ideal location short walk to all key spots .
