Perfect place to stay!

Great location, on the shore of the lake, absolute tranquility. Hotel with an architecture very well framed in the landscape room and general decoration of the hotel with great taste, several living rooms with sofas spread throughout the hotel facilities. Excellent Spa and indoor and outdoor pools. Very well-maintained outdoor spaces with several corners with chairs, sofas and hammocks to relax, read or simply sunbathe and enjoy the view. If you want to enjoy the lake there is a small "beach" and a pier where you can do paddle, use pedal boats or small electric boats (yes, the only noise here are birds singing), fish or simply sit and enjoy the view of the lake or the sunset. Very good breakfast and, despite the list being relatively short, delicious food on the restaurant, good wine and great lemonade.
All this plus the friendliness of the staff made this hotel one of my favorite spots in Poland.
I would not change a thing. I would just add a few, may two or three dishes more to the menu.

From all the places in Masuria we could best relax at the calm and spacious Morena estate. We stayed there 10 days and always found a quiet spot at the beach, bar, terraces or restaurants. We realized this especially after coming back there from daytours to crowded places like Mikolajki. Further we enjoyed the hotels water rentals Kayak and Coco Minicatamaran alot (highly recommended) which were easy to book and just take away right at the beach. The Morena staff was always in good mood and very friendly and we felt they realy enjoyed working with guests again after Covid break.
While the homepage states "bike facilities" the Morena did not have any bikes to rent, which should be more clearly in their description. As the area is very nice for biking we had planned to do some tours directly from the Morena. Instead we had to drive to other lakes in the area and rent bikes there. Further the food was okayish and a bit repetitive. We went to Elk or other nearby towns sometimes for a change of taste.

Location is wonderful! And the houses look good! Food was nice.
At midnight the airco in our room started to blow only warm air & it became terribly warm. They couldn’t fix the airco. Luckily they had a new room for us, but at midnight moving with all the bags and two tired children was not fine. But hotel did their best to solve the problem.

Decent views
Very disappointing. We’re not the type to make complaints, we never allow small issues to ruin our stay. But this is the first time in years I’ve been truly upset with the hotel overall. STRICTLY AVOID.
- very late check in time (16:00) combined with a very early spa and pool closure time (20:00). After you find your room and drop your luggage off, get changed and you only have a couple of hours left at the spa before closure..
- outdoor pool bar was closed, so don’t think about enjoying a nice cocktail by the pool.
- outdoor jacuzzi was full of dirt and dead insects. Not something you want to sit and relax in.
-outdoor seats and sofas had cushions removed, nowhere to relax outdoors.
- dinner is not included, you pay extra for a small, cold buffet.. not the best food, especially for the high price you’d expect something better.. drinks are not included in the buffet, again you pay extra.
- jazz bar was closed. Instead the receptionist offered we have a drink at the restaurant where the staff were in the middle of cleaning and closing down. After being served a couple of expensive - and what tasted like alcohol free mojitos - we felt rushed as the restaurant staff sat around with coats on just waiting for us to leave.. at 21:50. not very welcoming..
- in our room one of the tea spoons was filthy, as if the dishwasher didn’t properly clean off the last users dessert.. wine glasses had smudges and finger marks.. our duvet was not washed properly, had stains that resembled either vomit or spilled food.
- the room had very poor WiFi, wouldn’t load anything at all, mobile data with low signal was the better option.
- No air con. Rooms were very hot and opening the windows didn’t generate any draft. Spent the entire night completely uncovered and sweating.
- minibar consists of 3 items. Yes. One bottle of wine, some peanuts and a chocolate bar.
- hot water in the bathroom wasn’t very hot, mildly warm at most.

This is a relaxed, safe & secluded place for couples and families, pets & storks friendly. Wonderful location by the beautiful lake with a reasonable sandy beach. Very good facilities & rooms in traditional Mazurian style. Very good, fresh food. A very friendly, discrete & supportive stuff everywhere makes a real difference. The lake is very clean & suitable for eco friendly water activities (kayaking, fishing, sailing). Weather was gorgeous made the stay enjoyable. We will return.
Due to COVID restrictions & requirements buffet & meals arrangements were a bit stressful & rigid.
It would be nice if outdoor pool was available from 7:00 am for those who enjoy morning swim in peace and quiet.

Nice, welcoming people. Good food in the restaurant. Great beach for fishing and kids play. Impressive view from around the hotel. Staff caring about the health threats and communicating the need to wear masks indoors etc.
The TV has limited selection of channels. There are insect noises at night from old wood. The in-room minibar had only three items.
