The Queen bed I slept on comfortable and cosy for my back.
Anil did his level best to run the Lodge with minimum staff. My opinion Anil is manager and helping with the kitchen is not his job.He needs a deputy manager to stay sane.

clean, nice accomodation, friendly helpful staff
no power during the day but wasn’t too big an issue as there was generator power in the evenings

Not too far from the parc.
The room is dirty, no electricity most of the time and the second day no water…

its just no water, very little water coming from the pipe..

Semi-close to Mulu national park. Good service.
Leakage from toilets in several rooms, shower not working due to low water pressure in one room Pool not completely filled and not properly cleaned.
4.5
Hearty local breakfast provided, cooked fresh on the spot. Staff were very willing to help us orgamise our transport to and from the park, for a fee of RM20/journey.
Some rooms do not have hot water - but that is expected as this is the jungle of Borneo where electricity is a luxury when the generators are off!

Basic stuff available.
I wished the canteen was kept opened freely. To be fair I was only at the lodge at night to sleep as I was gone the whole day. So the place in that regard was pretty ok.
3.4
Friendly staff.
No wifi.
Electricity only from 6pm to mid night.
No place in the hotel to hide from the heat in the afternoon.

The staff was ok, but the staff is the same as in Kenny's and Village, which is much cheaper accomodation.
Room was realy basic. It is just not worth the extra money. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom was in a very bad state. And we had cockroaches in the room. It is not worth to pay so much money just for the A/C which can only be used from 6am to 1pm (due to electricity). The staff was kind and helpful but when I asked , if I could get 2 eggs instead of 1 egg and a saussage for breakfast, I didn't get anything (except of plain noodles). The accomodation is also quite far from the park, which is very inconvenient when you want to go back.
