V special and neutral natural furnishing. Lovely bar and breakfast room. Suite was huge and bathroom spectacular.
A couple of hot items at breakfast would have been nice. Excellent fruits jams and cheeses but the egg was bland and not partic inspiring.

The property was absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail of the buildings, interior design and the groomed gardens was exceptional. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We had a very pleasant dinner on one of our evenings there and the breakfast was good. The property offers a serene setting in a lovely part of France.

Wow, what history in these walls. everything about the property is stunning and the owner has impeccable taste in antiques and decore. the staff was so friendly and they went out of their way to make our stay special
not a thing... we loved it.

the hotel is perfect in every way: beautiful buildings and gardens, wonderful breakfast and first rate service. We would love to return
we loved everything!

Beautifully appointed rooms and gorgeous grounds, we loved lounging in the garden and by the pool
Nothing at all, wish we could have stayed longer!

The facilities of the hotel are really charming. Interiors perfectly fit to these old historic walls as well as the two nice swimming pools. Breakfast is good but not overwhelming.
Staff wasn't very charming or friendly. It felt more like disturbing them if you wanted something (most of the time you couldn't even find anyone). Our minibar fridge didn't work and it was never fixed nor did we hear any excuse. This hotel claims for itself being a 5 star but to be honest it's nice but really lacks the service one would expect when booking a 5 star (no one at the bar when you wanted something to drink, no pool service at all, no informations in the room, no coffee machine/water boiler in the room, no meal service after breakfast, poor towel service at the pool...) I have to admit that we stayed in Mausanne for 5 nights (and therefor spent quite some money for our stay) and that is why the lack of service and friendliness carries even more weight. It's a pity as this reflects only the attitude of the owners and could be easily changed....

Breakfast and location great
Found it difficult to find due to the sign being to small to see especially from a car and no number 13 on the gate. This needs to be addressed. The TV did not have English channels.

The aesthetics of the prieure were amazing. Great location close to town, but road noise is an issue by the pool. Many small areas to rest & rejuvenate - by either of the 2 pools, or in one of the alcoves.
Beautiful rose garden.
Lovely creek runs by the property that you can walk down to.
Staff very personable & helpful. Maeva especially was kind.
Room got wonderful natural light.
We stayed in 4 places in France this trip; A chateau with our family, an amazing Airbnb on Rue de Rivoli in Paris, Chateau Fonscolombe near Aix, and here. Our room cost was comparable to Fonscolombe, but we felt that property executed better. The execution wasn't poor, and was not due to the staff. It just seems that if your prices are going to be similar to a Relais & Chateau property, the execution needs to be as well.
For example, they require you to give you key back when you leave the property. That's fine, but you then need to have someone at the front desk at all times, otherwise guests wander the resort looking for assistance. The breakfast at $30 was mediocre. A pan of cold eggs and a variety of breads & meats. Given how few rooms there are, it seems like eggs could be put out in a smaller batch more often, or made to order. We never saw more than 8 people total at one time at breakfast, and there never was a rush.
Small finishing touches in the room seemed cheap. The handles to enter the bathroom were plastic. Given this is something that every guest is going to touch, spend the extra $20 and get nice handles.
Design of our room (12) was odd. The bed was between the 2 doors to the bathroom, so we didn't have bedside tables. There was a tremendous amount of space between the end of the bed and the closet - seems like the space could have been used far more effectively. Next time I wouldn't upgrade but would get a standard room, as there wasn't a lot of value in a larger room.
As a heads up: The entrance to the property has only a 1x2' sign and is on a little bit of a blind corner. It's harder to find initially, but also makes it feel less like a hotel.

Beautiful buildings centrally located in Maussane, close to Les Baux and Saint Remy, and Camargues.
Better baguettes and croissants at breakfast would be nice.

We had a perfect stay at the hotel. The hotel is decorated in style, has a very relaxing atmosphere, a supreme breakfast, two almost private pools and the personnel is very friendly.
